homelander, behind the strength, and threats and the powers hide a little boy who was never loved by his father, and trying to gain this love from the people, stillwell, ryan. And with stormfront he finally found that love he searched for. He is an interesting villain to look at from a psychological prespective
I know it's just a tv show but this shit hits home 😂
@@zukked9964 it hits homelander! Eyyyy
Homelander doesn't have a father or a mother. Was literally a test tube. :v
That "never loved by his father" hits hard after season 3's finale
Wait for me
He’s such a fantastic character and Anthony Starr portrays him perfectly.
He is homelander in rl too he's just hiding it
@@milianxhighlights homelander is just acting anthony starr
it's funny how jewish people have the capacities to always create a white vilain character that become more appealing than their main protagonist they wish people love.
The irony... God has so many ways of speaking.
homelander was the best actor to play anthony starr
homelander is not a fantastic character. Homelander had a fantastic potential but he is only good character at all. Anthony Starr is amazing actor tho.
“As long as no one, ever loves you again.” Heartbreaking..
Big facta
Who said that to him?

It hurts so much because in reality that’s all Homelander wanted and wants

I don't think they'll ever give Homelander a redemption, but I love the way he's been featured. I think he would truly have been the symbol of peace if he had been given the chance to grow up as a normal person.
I don't justify him for his monstrous actions, but he is not a God, he is just a man filled with rage and pain who is slowly slipping into madness.
Agreed. Homelander is beyond redemption
@@ozymandiasmedia5223 The only way for someone to have a chance at redemption is for them to feel some level of remorse. Homelander feels nothing.
@@kenthefele113 ..I don't really know about nothing. I know that he actually genuinely deeply cares about his son from what I've seen in the previous season
Only through Christ, our Savior, can Homelander be saved

He’s easily one of the best TV villains ever. Incredible acting, incredible depth, incredible powers, and incredibly terrifying.

DEEP THOUGHTS WITH THE DEEP
Homelander; The Literal proof and personafication of [Sterile Artificial] Insanity met with severe psychological damage
One of my favorite characters in all of television.
Without no doubt.
Their love of homelander is the only thing keeping him somewhat sane
They really are the real heroes.
Now i get it. that is so genius. just like God wants us to love him. makes sense now.
@@dying101666no god still doesn't make any sense .q
You know what is so great about the Homelander character? What he thinks makes him most the powerful person on the planet actually makes him the most powerless. He believes he can do whatever he wants, yet nothing that he does has any true significance.
well because all he wants ultimately is to be loved which is what makes that so sad
I like his character because he doesn't seem like a flat out Supervillain. Instead he seems like a man who's blinded by hatred and fame. He was isolated his whole life and never really had any love. That's why he adores the fame and attention he gets because that's the closest to true love he has ever gotten. He was raised to be someone he wasn't. I'm not saying that he isn't evil or that his actions are justified, I'm just saying that I can sympathize with him and understand why he acts and thinks the way he does. It seems to me that one of the things he wants is to be loved because he never experienced love. He's a villain, yes, but he's also emotionally damaged.
The depth of these words, nice :)
I'd say killing a lot of people is not insignificant
This really reminds of Joker, the 2019 film. Everything that he went through, all the pain he had to endure, how he always had to carry the weight of the world on his shoulders.... And he became what people like to call, a "monster". Despite everything he's done, I really can't help but feel bad for Homelander
@marius kristensen you serious? 😂😂😂
He didnt become what people call a monster he became a fucking psychopath. Dude literally threatens starlight if he lost all his popularity he would raise hell on the world and literally erase new york from the map. Hes a full blown narcissistic psycho

this is genuinely more deserving of an oscar than any A lister hollywood celeb, his range is out of this world.
also one of the greatest, and deepest anti hero of the last decade.
One of the best Homelander tributes out there. Stellar job.
yeah it was perfect, simply perfect.
Perfect, everything down to the last minute details.
Broken child…💔
Broken soul…💔
We love you,Homelander…❤
And to think this all started cause of A-train running through a girl
That bastard
This is a good quick character cap about a broken man that developed sociopathy due to extreme childhood neglect and hides it behind a smile.
I've actually been rooting for Homelander for so long, I just want the guy to be happy and not a damn psychopath
Same, but at the stage he is right now, there is no chance for him to recover. He even ruined his son's life by suddenly start doing activities with him that involve talking about or using his powers. Ryan could have lived a normal life if Homelander would have never interupted the way he was living with Becka.
Such a brilliantly written character and brilliant acting
This makes me hate Homelander just a little less now🤣🤣 Great job!
You gonna hate a child cause he is not your perfect image? Hmm? After hearing a child will be a criminal in the future without actully knowing you gonna stop it right then and there are you?... thats the type of person you were raised to be.
You hate Homelander? I fucking love Homelander. I mean he's utterly insane, a terrible person and ridiculously powerful which make it all terrifying but he's flawed, nuanced and I can't help but feel sympathy for the infinite loneliness of Homelander.
Plus Antony Starr is great as Homelander, just great. I can't get enough Homelander.
Im Homelander.
@@orsonlannister9847 say homelander again
@@orsonlannister9847 me too bro
Bro, the witcher 3 music fits so good.
Man, Homelander is the best villain I can think of where there is so much potential for good in him, but because of his upbringing and because no one in his life has or had the power or wisdom to put his fragile ego in check, he decides to repeatedly default to monstrous actions.
I wish this guy had an Uncle Iroh. :(
Witcher 3 music over Homelander is a massive W.
homelander is definitely one of my fav antagonists. amazing character and amazing acting. and this is the far best edit of him I've watched. great job.
A reminder to all the parents here, what a rough childhood can cause.
he deserved much better, if he only had a person to look after him he would be a good person
Hard to feel bad for him for many reasons. *very many
A gift to the planet. A cure for mankind
The witcher music works so well here!
You know what
Homelander is the perfect human….
Good villains are only made by the world around them
There built from pain and something else as to make you feel pain
if homelander got his own movie then this vid can be the trailer easily
Man this brings out so many deep emotions. Maybe we all are that little child crying out for help, maybe deep down we all want that same solace of acceptance. It’s hard getting old, hard watching people and things fade away. Yes life is good, sometimes the weight of it is so tiring on a persons shoulders. We all only do our best with what we know, we all try and be the best version of ourselves. The real sadness is what goes on behind closed doors when no one is watching, while they think we’re ok. We all need to accept each other because we are all big beautiful haunted messes. Maybe that’s what it’s about, accepting people even in their ghosts and skeletons they have
its truly amazing how homelander is know for being feared by anyone but when it comes to soldier boy he's the one who's afraid. for once having the same feelings as the people around him
One of my favorite edits I’ve found of my new fav characters. Just finished this show last week and can’t freaking wait for season 3 . Something new and refreshing for me to watch , god bless you for this edit boss 🤙🏻👍🏽
Thank you so much :)
We need a zach syder movie with homelander
I love how they made Homelander more human in the series he may be a monster at heart but he wasn’t born that way.
THIS WAS SO WELL PUT TOGETHER
im not usually a big fan of these edits but this was so well put together, it fleshed out his character brilliantly
Homelander is such realistic villans, wish adds to his horror.
Just because the monster has a sad back story, doesn’t make his actions right. Possibly one of the darkest villains in modern entertainment because we can empathize, yet we know he neglects changing for the better because why would he need to? His satirical portrayal of populism is next level.
The whole part with the violins and Homelander talking about the audience, especially with that voice tone, really reminded me of Jhin.
I could never anticipate that this show would teach me so much about real parenthood and the meaning of a father in someone's life
Amazing, every detail is pretty much perfect that describes his pain throughout his life. Though i would love to hear the line that he made in the speech 'i am not one of you, i am stronger, smarter, better, i am better'.
Thank you so much.
This is an old video. That quote is from the new season, Check out my latest video of homelander, I've included that dialogue in it.
In a conventional design where Homelander continues to fall deeper and deeper into this abyss of cruelty and pain. A future where he destroyed the world and doomed himself to eternal loneliness, one of the possible outcomes.
I love him, he make me more confident!!
i want to watch this show but the highlights satisfy me so good
He was not a bad guy, he was misunderstood 😢
I usually hate bad guys, because there is just two types of them. Both just funny more than anything else. But Homelander - i love! Anthony Starr is absolutely top dog in this role and the character is scary. Bloody well done !
This is the best homelander tribute
Homelander is the representation of human nature and how it can create something innocent and turn him into a mirrored reflection of how evil and fucked up humans are.
Super cool edit ! And the Geralt finding Ciri song is on point :)
I feel bad for homelander, his situation is the cause of the way he is the way he is
This is so underrated. a well put video
A fantastic superhuman with God level power running behind people's love but People's always running away from him because of afraid of his power.😊
So, essentially a Super-Tsundere?
Just shows our perceptions of ourselves and our upbringings should be double checked and welcome new perspectives
This is like a movie preview on the lore of Homelander I'd watch it. Awesome vid
This video is heart touching. Amazing!
Wow you did a amazing edit job, the quotes and scenes choice is perfect
The Boys has some of the best character development I've ever seen.
Everyone is commenting on how good a character Homelander is which I couldn’t agree more but you are highly highly underated this is a beautiful video great job well done

Really have to say that this edit is an incredible master piece
A child in pain forever trapped inside the body of an overly powerful man whos cry for help was never heard

I'm convinced that every action of mine is being monitored by big companies such as google
I LITERALLY STARTED WATCHING THIS SHOW YESTERDAY
Insane editing job truly amazing
It's funny how this video portrays Homelander as a kind of good guy, especially how he talks about being a Dad.
beautiful
homelander should have just been someone that could help stop criminals, sorting out violence and help people. like his power should have been used to give him a job that makes life easy
Yo, This is Awesome. Keep doing what you doing..
Thank you :)
why can i rewatch this so many times without feeling tired of watching it?
Homelander is the best villain hands down
Intense. The monster's right to exist. Powerful
Billy is just same as homelander without powers.
True .. Both are representation of what a damaged child could become
Billy and Homelander are narrative foils of one another, not the same. They mirror each other in certain ways, but some major differences define how their characters interact. Billy, for example, feels far less need to garner people's affection, if any at all. He actively detriments his relationships with people because he feels he is unworthy of love, whereas Homelander is so desperate for the reverence he feels entitled to that he's willing to destroy anything in his path to attain it, including his own sanity. Billy is defined by his quest for vengeance, his drive to bring everyone down to his level. Homelander is defined by his quest for unquestioning loyalty, and his drive to be recognized as superior to everyone else. Like I said earlier, they mirror each other in many ways, but they are far from being the same.
Great work as always vishnu!!
Thank you so much :)
