Hard not to fall in love with the passion and self deprecating modesty from Jeff and the band. So much substance in the lyrics too - Worry was easily my favorite record of 2016.
They came to play a FREE show in Tijuana México just one week before this, it was wild! I ended up with my phone's screen broken hahah but was worth it. They all are amazing humble people, they didn't get paid and they even had to pay for their own beer at the venue, got to invite them one and also had tacos with them and Kittty Kat Fan Club who also rocked! They came to play "JUST FOR THE FUN OF IT"! RESPECT!
I went to that show! Jeff was really humble at all times. He even let me take some photos! He actually turned down a good gig where he was gonna get paid around 2000 dlls, but decided to come to Tijuana. He just wants to have fun and play some good tunes

Jeff has been my favorite artist for the last ten years and, after all he did, seeing him playing these festivals and getting noticed by a lot more people outside NY gets me a bit emotional. More than any musician I know of. He deserves it!
Jeff finishes killing it for ten minutes...out of breath: "I've been thinking about this for the last ten minutes...what if we have a converging wave that starts on the outside and moves to the center?"

>"Listen To Laura Stevenson" guitar sticker As soon as she releases another album, Jeff. If I play Jellyfish at work anymore I think folks will start to get concerned for me.
I spent my whole life listening to punk rock and feel like I just discovered my next Fat Mike or Ben Weasel. Or my next indie great like Oberst or Mangum. Thank you Jeff and boys!
Jeff and these guys are something else. I always feel great listening to his songs. And I'm fuckin' happy to see how much respect and space he earned in the last years.
I was distracted by the Trump piñata and it took me a minute to notice they didn't put a delay on the drums, but it was the drummer "faking" it... brilliant!
looking back at it, i took this show for granted. it was the most amazing thing i'd ever seen, but my dumbass didn't soak it all in. i'd kill to go back

His album "WORRY." kills loneliness. It's like my best friend.
Just discovered this album/band/guy when I was feeling stressed and down. Turned it all around. New obsession
Same
This speaks to me
True af
Yeah but "Staring Out the Window..." makes me cry these days.
"Seventy. Five. Hundred. Dollars. For us to play this festival." I love you, Jeff.
I'm getting a sunburn just watching this.

Finally a Jeff Rosenstock big gig in high quality!
you must love the new record then
the way they started festival song was magic

that's what real love is all about
Que pinche envidia
That’s awesome! Kitty Kat Fan Club too! I’d love to meet and hang out with Jeff Rosenstock and Mike Park, I’d die! So jealous
Jeff was 100% prepared to swing that guitar as hard as he could into that audience, I'm glad he thought that through.
Jeff Rosenstock's music is an anthem for anxiety, love, sadness, fear. :) :) :(

i have never heard anyone say how much their payment was for a show while live on stage... or even off stage for that matter.. that's fucken Jeff :D
For a band of 5 people that’s not even enough for rent
@@BaronVonBielski the way that Jeff says it shows you how little they get paid on a regular basis :(
Nofx announced they got 30k for warped tour then threw it into the crowd Biggie style
Jeff finishes killing it for ten minutes...out of breath: "I've been thinking about this for the last ten minutes...what if we have a converging wave that starts on the outside and moves to the center?"
And then…

When they repeated "LOVE IS WORRY" like that, I broke down crying. I love this man and his music so much.
One of the best songwriters of the millennial generation
fatdogwiggle he’s gen x
@@kaymoss3002 born in 1982, he's millennial
The fight for the best is between him and Will Toledo
I recently got into Jeff Rosenstock because a friend who also likes PUP introduced me. That's a great friend. I hope he comes back through.
70...5....hundred....dollars.....for us..... to play....this festival....OH WOAH OH WOAH OH OH!!
John shaking his head at that lol
This guy is obsessed with jorts. He's also awesome.
the most infectiously positive guy in the world
nicest man in rock for sure
Someone needs to get Jeff a clip on mic
shoutout to the guy at the keyboard in the back he's carrying this entire set
this guy tours nonstop, I dont get how he can do this almost every other day
HomicidalBabies Don't forget he releases like 3 albums each year. Dude has energy, both physical and creative
Jonas Haegele lol no he doesn't. I love Jeff but there's no point in spreading false info when what he does is already impressive enough on it's own
Eric Fritz Yeah, I was exaggerating :D But his output level is pretty crazy, considering the quality of it all.
bibyzuk
SecondSunStudios hy
This is still probably the best live performance I've ever seen in person
>"Listen To Laura Stevenson" guitar sticker
As soon as she releases another album, Jeff. If I play Jellyfish at work anymore I think folks will start to get concerned for me.

NEVER GET TIRED
I don't know what are you seeing, but I am just watching a lot of people having fun.
I put this on a cassette today, so I can listen to it more, great performance.
Great energy in this performance!
4:26 shout out to that guy in the middle with that ASOB shirt (Jeff's first band) underneath his green one

Thank you Jeff and boys!
That You In Weird Cities performance is something else
Jeff and these guys are something else. I always feel great listening to his songs. And I'm fuckin' happy to see how much respect and space he earned in the last years.
This dude rules.
I'm so sad that I didn't discover Jeff until 2020. I almost went to this festival.
Great set, I love jeff.
"7500 dollars for us to play this festival" I love JR.
Whaaaat a set I fuckin WISH I had been there I would've raged my face off and lost my voice
jeff is so cool
my mood will forever be John's dad dancing
I was distracted by the Trump piñata and it took me a minute to notice they didn't put a delay on the drums, but it was the drummer "faking" it... brilliant!

I can’t tell you how happy it is that he is making music with Dan Potthast after these years: complete coup
He seems nice.
Are you guys filming Jeff again this year?
You have to feel sorry for who came after. Beat that!
The only song missing is Everybody You Love
22:50 --> This song sounds like you really have to pee, but you have to wait in line.
Mike and John wearing all black is such a bold move
NEHI
we have made it to the promise land
and we've left it for the land of hopelessness
First time hearing this guy.. Reminds me too much of The Descendents. Which is a good thing I guess.
Hey My name is Zach!! 37:00
14:05
is it just me or some of these songs performed are faster than on the records?
Is that Steveo on the sax?
that's not Dan Potthast of MU330 on keys / sax, is it?
Nice silver jews picture
Yes, it is!
Does anyone know if it was true that they fired someone at Pitchfork for booking them? WHY?
Lol
