Listen to Bomb!! Listen to Jeff!!!
@ The Warsaw in Brooklyn, NY - January 19th, 2014
Discovering a band 10 years after they disband is so soul-crushing
Jeff Rosenstock is still making music and awesome live but it breaks my heart that they don't ever perform BTMI songs anymore 💔
I was there, turned 30 year that year. Rode the train home to CT, was like "Aw shit I'm old now"
Life wouldn't be half as interesting if we didn't all get old together, friend
@@arthurclery5731 Appreciate the sentiment but it fucking sucks!
@@arthurclery5731perhaps we all get old forever?
@@melonmanwill We had the time so we watched the ocean for a while
And it felt alright
I only found this band like 20 minutes ago and now I'm sad this was their last show
keep listening to jeff rosenstocks music! the end is never really the end my man! keep on rocking
I feel that
You and your band woke me up when I needed a nod to wake up. I get home from work, I throw your tunes on and it makes me feel happy that you're, here on my old-ass 1972 stereo. You play your heart out at every show, on every live recording and and each album, and that's why I respect you so much. We're lucky to have you and your band. I'd be a liar if I said I wish there were more bands like yours....yours is the only one that fits right. Thank you or making my life more enjoyable. And thank you Spankx for making girls' asses a bit more round.
Open Source, thank you Jeff and BTMI. Legends! :)
Something about this hits home with me. Thank you for giving me one of my favorite videos
one of the best bands to have existed in our time. I wonder if jeff will do something where he sings some of his older stuff in the future imagine if royal fuck deluxe was sang along with it. if that happens i hope he doesn't lose his job as music composer for craig of the creek.
i didnt even get to find out about BTMI of ASOB while they were around, but I cry watching this even more than I do when I listen to them on spotify
THANK YOU SM FOR THE RE UPLOAD ILY
I'd give anything to be able to go back one more time
play list? mainly the first song
campaign for a better weekend
The second song is called Future 86 if you ever want to give it a listen :)
“Guys just go do whatever you’ll be fine” - Jeff rosenstock
Bro I cry enough hearing the album version
The thing about this band is that I feel so very not alone when I hear about their experiences, they're writing about a human condition and situation and it's really sick
Thank you for writing the comment i couldn't find the words for.
This is a really good way of putting it. I think this comment sort of helped me understand why I listen to so much BTMI when I'm deeply depressed. I think it helps me feel some sense of community, shared experience.
i was six years old when this was made with no fucking idea that btmi would save me from jumping in front of a train in 2022 and it's my life's biggest regret that i never got to see them play live. rock on i guess
I’m 32 now, but I had a very similar experience (stepped back with a few seconds to spare) when I was 19 because BTMI’s lyrics were rattling around in my head and made me want to see what I’d miss out on otherwise. My life has never been anywhere near as bleak as that moment was, and I’m forever thankful for that. Glad to see I’m still not the only one.
I was quite literally in a psych ward when this show happened. I would get out and discover BTMI six months later. It stuck with me and was the defining soundtrack to my experience as a college student and young adult in new york city. It proved cathartic to listen to in every situation I was in. Jeff's solo music is good, but I have prayed for a BTMI reunion almost every day for the last ten years. One day.
@@srndsnd i've thought of going to one of jeff's solo shows and begging him to play a btmi song but i'm not /that/ desperate lol. glad to know someone else has a sort of parallel experience
Thank you for re-uploading this; THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!
The audience clapping way too fast at the beginning kills me every time 😆
they were excited
Yeah Haha. Can't blame em I suppose.
i never thought finding a goodbye cool world rip on this platform one time would lead me to such a rollercoaster with jeff's music
all so beautiful, long live asob, long live btmi, and long live jeff rosenstock and co.
pretty sure that's Kory Gregory from Prince Daddy & The Hyena crowdsurfing for like 2 minutes straight during Campaign
Any proof for that? I know he said Jeff was an inspiration for him, and that kind of does look like him maybe. That would be an insane coincidence if so.
holy shit that is so fucking sick !!
that would be insane, I just came to this video from watching some old p daddy concerts lmao
100%
oh shit i think youre right!
Just found this band and they seem incredible
They are. Are you deeper into the Jeff rabbithole yet?
@@veg3tabl3 He is still in the hole. We need to send a rescue team.
@@RustyVaperGameplay the last thing he needs is a rescue team
@@tomdeblonk He needs to come back to reality. So he can get a refresher of why he needs to stay in the rabbit hole.
I wish I could be you 3 years ago
Thank you so much for re-uploading this!
This is honestly my favourite video in the world, I couldn't live without it.
whenever I need a good cry I watch this video. I would give anything to have been at this show
i saw the last asob show at the stone pony and i saw the second-to-last BTMI show the night before this was recorded at the same venue. Jeff was my favorite artist growing up and it's hard to believe vacation is 10 years old this year.
Loved John with the tiara :)
Yeah but my fucking heart though
8:05 Enter stage left, Sean Bonnette!
Happy New Year, 2024
this song always hits. Glad it’s still hitting in 2024
'half of you fucked up'
The crowd is literally going out of their way to fuck up the rhythm of the pianist. She’s a pro, remembered the headphones and to ignore everyone and everything. Great work!
Like a mix of Gorillaz, The Script, Weezer and Band of Horses with a little Hardcore Punk in there. I flipping love it!!!
I remember a band I was in opened for them in basement show in Indianapolis back in like 2009, and they played a set of all 80s songs 😂
Thank you thank you thank you thank you!! For trip loading this I come back here every now and then I’m so sad that they won’t play together ever again but it was good while it lasted
this show will always be in my heart thank u so much
nice, its a really good video for a closure. Thanks!
watched this video probably 5 times today
Im crying my fucking eyes out man
cuts are bigger than expected

Hey wasn't video of this whole show supposed to be released to people who went?
Idk, but it hurts that there´s a recording of the whole show in a hard drive somewhere and that we can´t see it
Tim4K same😢
@@nomindwellness i was there and was constantly refreshing to see when i could get a dvd or recording afterwords but i remember hearing that there was something technical that made the audio unlistenable but since this was for the documentary the had it in a different source. bummer though been to a lot of shows in my life and that was the best. hopefully jeff does a btmi reunion for halloween or something one of these days
@@dbndbaconnnnnn dam, thank you Dylan! I can finally put the dream of rewatching that last show to rest! Rip btmi 😔
@@nomindwellness dude i feel ya man. i would love to see it again. i ached for a good 10 days after that show haha
Hey son son
So we’re probably at your house rn
And I probably very abruptly brought up this video out of nowhere
But do u wanna like date me?
Yes
No
im gonna go listen to cap n jazz and forget this ever happened
um this is manufactured sadness. no reason for them to break up... no reason to cry on stage... no reason to make everyone feel bad and sad and committed to buying future merch because of a manufactured emotional experience...
log off weirdo
they actually stopped making music under BTMI to not cause unrest amongst themselves, at the tampa show you could have seen the anger Matt had when he ran off the stage after the show all pissed. It was more jeff realizing he cant keep everyone happy all of the time kinda thing go watch the never get tired btmi documentary, find a better take while you're at it
