- I finally took the cameras with and got some footage fishing for bass on surface lures. It was a great session, all the bass in this video were caught on surface lures and some of the takes where explosive. I hope you enjoy watching this as much as I did making it.

Cracking video again dave .typical when u bring the camera conditions make it hard .fairplay u still managed to catch some bass .
Thank rob. It was a good session in the end but had better the 3 days before and some nice fish to size wise. I just need to make that sacrifice and take the cameras everytime. It's just hard and the videos don't really get the views to warrant the hassle lol
I know what u mean /sometimes it's nice just to leave cameras at home and just switch of and concentrate on your surroundings.

I see you found a mackeral coloured YZ mag popper after - how did you get on with that dark green one I sold you?
I did but now it's gone I lost two 105 mag poppers. Not sure which one you mean ? The dark green one I don't think i have had a dark green one
@@C3BFA it was a longer on e[125 i think] green back with orange tape on the underside, back in June
@44Celt I remember I still have it. It's in the garage it wouldn't fit in my lure box. Next time I'm out i will get a bass on it and get a pic. Thanks Celt

Thanks casters. Boats on hold after losing my job still not had any wages since June. Things are seriously hard. I might be back up doing some sanding next week hopefully but then again I need to buy fuel for compressor and I'm skint.

The reel is 2500 size and the rod is a fast action 10-30g.
Both are numora I can't pronounce the names of either rod or reel tho sorry
The rod is 8ft sorry I forgot to say. This was my lure rod for the boat I would recommend a 9ft+ rod for pure shore fishing

It was great I loved it. The boat is a good way along but still plenty to do unfortunately. I lost my job not had any wages since June so slowed it down.
@@C3BFA No way that's totally bad losing your job hope you find another one soon and lookafter yourself and the family and you will be able to finish the boat putting more hours and hard work like you already have. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you getting another job soon m8 and getting back on your feet 👍
Well I was kicked out for no reason at all with no notice mike 🙄🙄😡😡. I have another job but it's monthly pay, waiting for wages end of this month it's messed everything right up but I will get back on track. If I can get hull painted and flip boat back over I'm not behind my planned schedule for September so 🤞🤞 I can do that and buy the paint
@@C3BFA That's bad Dave kicking you out without a reason, I've always had jobs been weekly pay but my job now is monthly which like you say it messes things up and have to change direct debits ect. Will be good if you can get the hull painted and underneath the boat done to keep your schedule on track 👍
@michaelabbott6271 I booked holiday and returned to work to be told there's no work I was like what ????? And they started to be nasty saying I'm lazy and all sorts which ain't true i worked and pulled my weight. Anyway that's the past now.
🤞 I can get the paint and keep the boat rebuild on track we will see. Still have lots of sanding to do on the hull to be fair so I should stop fishing and crack on with that really lol
