Monkey Nellie Grooms Her Human's Head. WHAT Did She Find?

This was the very first time when Nellie touched one of us and gave a lice head check/grooming session. Vervet monkeys spend much of their time (up to several hours per day) grooming each other. Grooming is used to reinforce social bonds, as well as to remove parasites and debris from the fur.
By this act we became part of the pack or at least distant relatives.
Our biggest fear was that she would really find something.
