That means she was very well Treated and Loved by Who Ever had her. It's Cruel to take her away from the only home she knew. Dam Government needs to let the monkey stay with her Human Family , Especially if she never caused any Problems.
It's not the government that is taking them away from their human family. It's the family themselves who decided that either because they are not cute and cuddly anymore and they are to much for them to handle because they didn't raise them right and give them the love and affection they needed and deserved and also because they are not bringing in the money they used to. Their government doesn't care at all. If they did we wouldn't see have the videos we see of those poor babies being horribly abused!
You can domesticate anything it just takes a lot of generations and human interaction. That being said, they’re primates like us. We should preserve their natural habitats and keep them safe but we don’t
It’s a shame that humans think that taking baby monkeys and keeping them as pets is ok. This monkey is too domesticated to be left in the wild but should be in a sanctuary not living on the street grooming humans.
She feels more comfort being around human. She is asking for human mercy to take her home and pet her again. That is probably why she kept on grooming you. Love me please, she said.
She was such a sweetheart. It breaks my heart what happened to her. Abandoned a lonely year on her own looking for her owner. Rejected and afraid of other monkeys because she didn't know how monkey society worked. She felt more comfortable around humans and she stayed near the road getting food from humans until sadly it caused her a slow, painful death which the VO was sure to capture every moment they could on video. To their credit some tried to help make her comfortable but without true medical/surgical care in a facility she was doomed with internal injuries from getting hit in traffic (So they say) Could have been monkeys or possibly even cruel monkey hating humans. Either way she is gone. May You Rest in Peace Sweet Chiquita.
Monkeys grooming is a big part of their well being. They groom to show affection to each other. This one was dumped and doesn't have troops or family anymore that's why it's grooming this man.
They have no choice but give them up. Cambodia has a law where monkeys can not be kept as pets. Her owner may have loved her but had to give her up when someone turned them in and it was turn her loose or go to jail. The law doesn't care that the monkey will not be accepted into a troupe and she will live her life as an outcast. They only care that the law says you can't have a monkey no matter what the reasons that they took in the monkey. Jail or turn them loose is their opinion.
the thing is you can meet all of a baby monkeys physical and psychological needs as its mother if you care enough to do it right like a real monkey mom ie clinging and grooming and suckling round the clock. but you cant take the place of a troop and the free life it needs once a few yrs old. So its kinder to bring a pubescent monkey to a sanctuary than to keep it. if it was raised with the security of a parent figure that it had a strong maternal bond, it should be able to integrate with a semi wild sanctuary troop. but no you cant just dump them on a wild troop they will be rejected if not killed. especially if u haven't taught her how to forage the way a real monkey mom would. every e eventuality should be carefully prepared for that dies not mean it's on the animals interest to stay with you forever. pay for it to stay with a rehab type place as it grows so it can be rewilded. dont just dump it on those ppl either without resourcss.
She is so tame and now she's been dumped in the woods where she don't know how to fend for herself. People suck and I want to remind them that God is watching and I am praying. ❤️🐒🙏
She wasn't dumped. There is a law in Cambodia that people can't keep monkeys as pets. The law enforcement made her owner dump her or go to jail. The owners adopt them many times to help them as infants love them like family. Then lose them because of their laws. I've watched them surrendered them at that location and you can see the pain in their faces while doing it but have no choices it's that or jail. Very Sad.
Super late on this reply but yes, primates use grooming for multiple things but also as a form of "service" to barter in exchange for a number of things, including potentially being included into a new group or family. She's showing deference and usefulness hoping to be taken in most likely.
What the Hell is she biting off of his leg??? Monkey's will bite bugs off of each others fur, so does this guy have bugs on his legs and in his leg hair??? Hhhhh???🤔
She desperately wants a human owner as she was raised in such conditions. It's sad to see she's been dumped. But unfortunately it's become all to commen due to you tube.
Most likely the owners were told to release her. It's against the law there to have monkeys as pets. I watched another video where another monkey was released and the owner was heartbroken and obviously did not want to release his monkey there but had no choice in the matter.
@@harpermacenzi9483 I did not make the laws there. Google it. The law states that you can't have a monkey as a pet in Cambodia. Monkeys can be kept for scientific purposes only. Basically for laboratory purposes. Which is why people steal baby monkeys from their mother so they can be sold to labs. I never state something about monkeys unless I have researched it first. I saw a documentary on these monkeys being stolen from their mothers for that purpose. So before accusing me of something do the same. Google stolen monkeys in Cambodia for laboratorys also.
