I was about to buy an old Handycam with Nightshot. I need the effect for my music videos but I saw this video and bought a current camera + infrared light and the results are incredible. It saved me from spending a lot of time transferring tapes to my macbook. Thank you
I shoot live music performances, some in near complete darkness. I have two of these and they are amazing. With the night vision feature, I can get multiple remote lighting angles and the images are clear and what's best is the performers are completely unaware that there's even a trace of lighting. I didn't read the negative reviews and I'm glad I didn't. It's part of my regular rig now.
That is awesome. I use multiple cameras depending on the situation. I love low light photography and video, especially in filming haunted and strange locations. I Love metal and hard rock, would love to see your work.
Such a great video brother! I absolutely love how you compared all 3 in the same room to give a good perspective of how well they perform. Impressive! Also love the pups playing at the end in complete darkness. 🤣 Great job man!

one of my camcorders has infrared recording. It's the panasonic DVX200 4K camcorder. But in my bed room with no light it barely sees something in the dark. I have to film a halloween walk so I don't know if this light would make any sense? Off course I can attach a normal videolight on it but then the scary part is gone with this light.
Does this still work good? I just saw your amazon video and wanted to buy one to use with my canon XA10 for shortwave listening at night and make videos of my radio scanner. Does the one you got in original Amazon review still work too?

Great video, I was just looking at these lights and of course it makes you wonder if the low price is too good to be true. Plus a good chunk of reviews on Amaz-n are fake, so its hard to decide if you want to gamble the money or not. I'll be picking up 2 of these thanks to your video!
I have four and also considering getting rid of my Phasm lights. They are still good, but heavy and sometimes a pain to charge. Andoer makes a good light. I also have their LED camera lights. Super bright and you can change colors. Thanks for watching!! Happy Hunting.....Shawn
What Sony Camcorder is this... I see lots of inexpensive IR camcorders on eBay and Amazon, but it seems none have an actual auto focus lens (They're fix focus) with optical zoom (Only Digital Zoom/Copping) and the Sony Cameras that do, none mention IR Night Vision. In complete darkness they give off only a soft red glow for night vision. What I do is embed a regular dimmable camera light in-between the Andoer lights. Hope this helps.
You need a cold shoe mount on your camera. Or you can mount your camera to a hand held holder that will have one or two cold shoe mounts. Look at the bottom of the light. It has a square on the bottom that will slide in a slot called a cold shoe. I'll see if I have a video on this and I'll put the link here. If you need more help, no problem at all. Shawn

The phone would have to be Night vision capable. Or modified.
