Danny P It 100% depends how you treat it. I have worked at a few dealerships in my past One being a jeep and dodge. Most people who buy jeep or more fun and adventurous most people who buy dodge want a big tough vehicle with a big engine to abuse that vehicle When you look at Jeep marketing to people who go off-road and dodge marketing to people who want powerhouse vehicles to do burnouts and rev up their engines a lot. Then compare that to a company like Kia or Toyota to market their vehicles as reliable daily drivers so people use them as grocery getter‘s and don’t beat them up over rocks, mud, water and they don’t put enough power into them except the supreme to be beaten up or attract people who want to floor their vehicles all the time. Just a little bit of info and if you have any questions I’d be happy to help. But the reason jeep and dodge get there bad reputation is because no other brand markets themselves as vehicles to abuse and rock crawling or even off-road can easily tear up all kinds of things and put so much strain and we are in tear on several parts of your vehicle
Look at the amount of jeeps that go over 100,000 without even changing spark plugs or anything and look at how many go over 150,000 miles without anything other than basic maintenance and basic things every car needs. There are more of them than you think but then look at a Dodge charger challenger with racing stripes or a jeep with a hemi engine see people abuse them way more. Then when those people who have enough money to buy a brand new vehicle and abuse them create problems they sell the vehicle buy a new one and someone else gets their problems I use speech to text so maybe my words are a little messed up. But really take into account how much more abuse jeep and dodge vehicles go through the most manufactures it’s amazing they last just as long after rock crawling Yes my mom has always been a jeep then my dad has always been a musclecar fan and I have a 105,000 mile Dodge charger with the original spark plugs which I bought used to years ago and I also have a 01 wrangler tj with 164,000 miles. I wanted everything to be stock and I bought it was small tires so that way it was less chances of being abused

To help make your videos even better, I think you should add vehicle stats on the vehicle. It could be on screen at the beginning or at at the end to sum it up. Just my opinion. Keep it up!
It’s very reliable brought mine in 2015 a brand new 2014 left over limited option out.No problems and plus this is my first American SUV in over 20 years! Going to get a option out GT this year!
For those looking for a RWD or RWD-biased AWD crossover the Durango is worth serious consideration. And compared to the 2020 Explorer it's a huge bargain. The GT version Joe tests in this video is significantly under-optioned compared to what is available in the GT trim level. But even with a significant set of options, the GT is less expensive than an Explorer and comes with a higher tow rating and a V6 engine.
I really dig the Durango and I'd go for one in a flash if it featured more safety items, like AEB with pedestrian detection, etc, even as options, plus a better warranty similar to Hyundai's for example. Three years free maintenance is a perk!
Hey Raiti! Because of your great detail review and the expression when you romped on that gas pedal, got myself the 2020 dodge Durango SRT! It's so worth it...for my family of course! 😎👍
@@briankrobinson its treating me and my family great!I I have driven the durango srt close to 20k on the odometer so far and no major issues. One issue I had was for the infotainment screen going out and needed a fixing at the dealership, cant barely drive when the heat seaters cannot be shut off lol without it working! but other than that, it's really fun! An advice that I learned and research is that I only drive on sport/track or street mode on shift paddle from MDS activating. I rather have all cylinders working than half so all cylinders are active and keep it revved above 1500 at least so oil can lubricate the engine properly. But these are my opinion and from what I research from other mopar owners in general. Overall great family SUV, it will not disappoint any enthusiasts...maybe a couple of trips at the gas pump a week LOL! 😎👍
Main reason I love this channel...I have a box of twinkies and zebra cakes in my car haha. I love the Durango. Few things I don’t like, the third row. Happy Sunday Joe! This is a pretty big SUV for a midsize. Power passenger seat should be standard. I’d have to get the R/T if I was buying one. Nice review Joe! 👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸
@@peaceandfood7952 yes very close. I was getting 15 to 17 mpg on average mixed driving for the 30,000 miles I have driven it. On the highway only I could get up to 25 mpg.

These Durangos are nice cars but no use for Uk. Really surprised by the low torque of V6s. My Escape/ Kuga 2 litre turbodiesel has 295lb ftlb torque just above 1700rpm.
Can you make a video on Dodge Charger GT. Definitely looking into buying one soon. I trust your judgment. You’re gonna determine rather I but one or not. Thanks in advance.
They say for 2021 or 2022 for a refresh. Taking notes from Nissan and Toyota on SUVs. 😂 Rumors of either moving to the 1500 frame for the next all new version, or cancelling it completely. With the Jeep Wagoneer coming out too much competition within the same family, I suppose.
They have given it a refresh for the 2021 model year (updated grille/headlights/engine options). You won’t see a complete re-design until most likely 2023.
You can i’ve also seen a GT Durango with dual racing stripes. They’re hard enough to find you might have to order it and wait a few months for the car to come in

It's definitely a great value you're getting a lot more for your money that a Jeep Grand Cherokee sharing the same chassis slightly bigger vehicle I think it's about 12 in longer
I just picked up my 2020 Dodge Durango GT Blacktop recently. I must admit, so far this thing is amazing from its overall appearance, comfort and down to its 3.6L. I could have gotten the V8, given the standstill traffic in NYC it was not the best choice for daily city driving. The V6 agile acceleration is enough to quench your thirst for most gearheads. Mods I have done so far, exhaust and DroneMobile.
The entire front clip, is clean and awesome! Excellent lines and we'll porpotioned styling, again very clean! Sounds Great! What are, "Funny Bones"? That's a new one to Me! 🤔 Center Stack, looks a little dated! Agree, the seats are Zonked! No bolstering, and no rear connectivity... So! That's how you spike your hair! Finger in the 12v. socket! 😳 Definite plus, being a standard RWD, format! Priced lower than expected. 😳 Good review, probably swap the seats out for RECARO's... 🏁
I have this car from 2015. Not much has changed. Actually, nothing. Maybe different fog lights? But the interior and exterior look exactly the same. I've had very few issues in 5 years... would recommend excep the mpg is terrible.
I have a 2021. Updated interior is nicer. My GT came with remote start. Test drove the SXT and GT. GT was far more comfortable and had a better ride. Day after we bought it took a 600 mile plus road trip out of state. Great ride and no issues. Have a GT Plus and averaged 23 mpg hw & city mix. Wife slept in passenger seat part of the ride. Said it was very comfortable. Love this thing so far!!
i have no use for a 7 passenger SUV but its nice sporty but the navi screen is too small and what a missed opportunity for a wide panoramic sunroof...need my SUNROOF!!!
I have a HUGE QUESTION for you. Why does my 2005 Durango have a center console and rear power outlet that does not work ? I did my research and found out that that there is a missing THREE prong 20amp fuse missing. So I went to my local Dodge dealership and they were stumped so they contacted Chrysler and they did not know anything about a specific fuse for that and had know answer for me. I was told to rig up two 10 amps and rig them to the fuse panel.
nice review.really nice suv nothing to complain about really.except the rear race track lights they call it.burn out in sections.looks nice at night.v6 is all you need.dodge hangs you if you want the 5.7v8 by at least 10k more.
7:30 I'm not gonna lie. I'm super surprised that at almost 40k this SUV doesn't have an auto trunk, or at the very least a trunk release that can be remote activated.
Jeep and Dodge makes really nice looking SUVS and trucks but I'm worried about reliability

I totally agree with you Gary!
I believe it's a little cheaper as well comparably equipped hope you have a great day tomorrow and have safe travel
Same as you but with a 2021. Love it!!!
@@Mike-0201 super nice congrats
Love the Dodge Durango! Great review.
Thanks for letting me bring it to you!
I know you probably wouldn’t do an RT, given that you’ve done GT and SRT...but would love to see you do a review on RT. 🤙🏻
I will get it together for you Ryan.
Love your vids!!!
Thanks brother!
I wish car salesman in my country were this good
The entire front clip, is clean and awesome!
Excellent lines and we'll porpotioned styling, again very clean!
Sounds Great! What are, "Funny Bones"? That's a new one to Me! 🤔
Center Stack, looks a little dated!
Agree, the seats are Zonked! No bolstering, and no rear connectivity...
So! That's how you spike your hair! Finger in the 12v. socket! 😳
Definite plus, being a standard RWD, format! Priced lower than expected. 😳
Good review, probably swap the seats out for RECARO's... 🏁
I am so glad that you like this one. Funny Bones are filled with peanut butter.
Good looking suv but if it's trying to compete with the Telluride definitely falls short though..
That is a very good point!
I have this car from 2015. Not much has changed. Actually, nothing. Maybe different fog lights? But the interior and exterior look exactly the same. I've had very few issues in 5 years... would recommend excep the mpg is terrible.
Jeep and dodge looks luxury and boss at the same time
I totally agree with you!
Ready to see a red eye version.
Trust me so am I!
How are you Joe? I'm freaking tired from the daylight savings. And also... MOPAR BABY!!!
I totally feel the same my friend!
I need a 2021 GT V6 review 😫... I want your opinions on the upgrades and the same trim level as the 2020 review.
Love your videos!!!
Please could you do a video on 2020 Lexus Lx570 MBS autobiography and 2020 Range Rover SV Autobiography
Thanks for the support! I will try to get that together for you!
@@RaitisRides That will be so lovely and very much appreciated.
Looking forward to it. Thanks!
i have no use for a 7 passenger SUV but its nice sporty but the navi screen is too small and what a missed opportunity for a wide panoramic sunroof...need my SUNROOF!!!
I can tottaly understand where you are coming from.
Great review for sure Joe! What was the towing numbers?
Thanks! It's 6,200 lbs
That is a great question Armando. I would call the service department at Jerry Ulm Dodge.
Raiti's: Best reviews on RUclips! :-)
nice review.really nice suv nothing to complain about really.except the rear race track lights they call it.burn out in sections.looks nice at night.v6 is all you need.dodge hangs you if you want the 5.7v8 by at least 10k more.
Thanks for sharing that great input Morris!
Does I have room for some kit Kats and Nestle crunch?
You better believe it.
Your explanation is impressive..!!! 👌🏼
It looks funny without a hood scoop and kinda cute
I totally agree!
They don’t even make it as a body on frame anymore. Supposedly it’s coming back though.
That is so very true!
Love my 2020 GT
I am so glad that you like this one.
This looks so good. I want it. But my aunts darango scares me. With shop visits
I know how you feel!
I’ll have to zonk myself this time cuz I just realized that Im not subscribed.
At least you caught it now! ;-) thanks for joining the Raiti's Rides family!
I hate that they eliminated my favorite colors, the reactor blue and the purple
I feel your pain!
7:30 I'm not gonna lie. I'm super surprised that at almost 40k this SUV doesn't have an auto trunk, or at the very least a trunk release that can be remote activated.
I can totally understand that!
This is the 2WD GT. My 2020 GT is AWD and have USB in the back.
