What’s the difference between the manual and auto pressure valve? So if I go on a flight will I just have to turn the valve before the flight? Cause I’m not 100% how that works exactly..
@@TheDerekFrank got it. Thank you. So it’s always better to leave it open when I’m on a plane. Thank you. Hopefully one doesn’t forget and do u know if water can get inside while it’s open??
@@TheDerekFrank makes sense. I totally agree with you. I love the video. I thought I wanted a pelican but love the style of this nanuk 935. Some flaws but everything can’t be perfect
@@TheDerekFrank - I understand. I am looking for a suitable case for a First Aid Kit. My buddy who is a Captain at a Fire Department uses Pelican for his staff.
Do you think the Nanuk 935 is as good as its competitors?
Gerat breakdown. Love Nanuk cases
Thanks! It is a really nice case
Very interesting review, Derek! I'm interested in seeing the foam sealing video, too!
I definitely need to get that one made!
Cool to see that. actually I work there at Nanuk. They are made in Quebec CA .
That's awesome! It's been a great case!
Can't understate how much I love these cases!
The fact that Nanuk is made in Canada makes them grade “eh”!
You think this is overkill as a replacement to a carry on luggage?
I ONLY travel with these types of cases for carry ons especially with expensive camera and music gear
Has any airline made you check them in? I currently only travel with a 35L.backpack.
@@TaoDeChing-ls5gz only once because the plane was full. Thank god I had this case because my camera would have been destroyed
@@TaoDeChing-ls5gz I go on a lot of music tours too, so it's in your busses a lot and gets beat up. These cases are part of my every day life

If you leave a manual valve closed and its in a section of the plane that is not pressurized, it can impload

@@ez591 a manual valve can let water in. Thats why I say to always get an automatic

@@ez591 after having both pelican and nanuk, I will say I am happy with both but I do prefer the Pelican
Is it better than Pelican cases?
I personally prefer the Pelican 1510 nd 1535
@@TheDerekFrank - Okay. Most people I have talked to prefer Pelican.
@@raleighepp5274 The Nanuk is a great case, don't get me wrong, but I prefer Pelican

I'll take the 935, send me that blue one.
Its staying with me 😜
Very EXPENSIVE!
@@michaelpalus7929 it's on par with other brands, but I still prefer Pelican
Interesting design, but seems like a toy compared to pelican....the pelican case's brilliance is in its simplicity.
I don't disagree
Nanuk looks more like average women suit case unlike pelican 1510 case looks cool and bad!
Hahaha check out my Instagram for my new Pelican 1510. I will have a review video soon
