Bergara makes some fine rifles. They are smooth functioning and accurate. As you are aware, rifles are ammo selective. This vid shows that! A good scope with crosshairs would have made the point that Red Dots are good but have their limitations at distance. Good Vid WTW and keep it up!

On the match chamber, cases longer than a standard 22lr will jam into the rifling ahead of the chamber. Cases like the CCI stinger uses. I think there are other 22lr's that use this longer case length. Ones with lighter bullets.
On a standard 22lr the bullet gets pushed into the rifling, this helps improve accuracy.

I like that tiny little red dot 👍 For a while, I went through a red dot phase on my 22s but then my old man eyes got even worse... I never used to think it was necessary but now I've learned to appreciate a good scope on the rimfires. Awesome rifle, thanks for sharing it with us.

    • @ancientrenegade9243

Yep, age sucks. I've still got great vision, can spot movement way past 1600 of small critters but my red dots have just become flares. I switched to 1-4 optics on all my rim fires now. Age sucks but there'll be another body tuned to me at some point so nothing to worry to worry about for what it's worth.
