Congrats on receiving the display. It has some great specs to use for a secondary display indeed. I have a feeling you are going to start treating that Ally like I do my Lenovo Legion Go in my ultimate FPS videos. I’m loving the water cooling mod on the Ally!

How you connect the monitor to the ROG Ally? What kind docking station do you use?

This review came a week late for me. Jus bought a g3 24" for 90$ NIB.
I'm actually about to buy another Ally or possibly Go for my son, so I guess I'll need another monitor....
g3 for 90$ is a win
great deal. keep and eye out at best buy for open box deals on ally and legion go, you can save a TON and they come with a great return policy too. I know a bunch of people who buy them and have no clue how to use a pc and they return it because they thought it was an xbox or ps. most open box ones are like new and all of them are fully tested too

i had the same monitor but returned it had problems with the PS5 running 1440p 120hz but it did have HDMI 2.1 i might check it back out myself
That's the problem with these 1440p hdmi 2.1 monitorso. No one demonstrates the ps5 with these. There's a few out there but I'm afraid to buy one that won't work with my ps5.
@@gagecee5129 I have a monitor that works with it but I don’t know if they still sale it it’s a (ViewSonic) 1440p 165hz HDR 400 curved monitor with RGBs in the back with 4 USB 3.0 ports only thing is no HDMI 2.1 it go for around $250
This is a beastly monitor for $250
But that isnt exactly what I think of BUDGET.
They do offer a slightly smaller, 24" and less powerful, 100hz instead of 180hz for only $85. That sounds a lot more like a budget monitor to me... but everyone has a different budget for these things so I feel ya.

Where the heck is it 250$ my brother… no plz don’t buy that. Look its 170$ on Amazon and is if you look right below the price it says coupon 80$. ALWAYS look below prices on Amazon, they artificially raise them and then add a coupon or discount to make you think you’re about to save a ton of money lol. It def is 170$ right now just by checking a small little box. No strings attached
