I was hoping to see some clarification in your video description, given the MANY comments under the TODAY shows’ original upload. Hope Zuckerbrow not only “popularized” the Cozy Cardio movement on TikTok, she trademarked (!!!) the term. So why did she get less than thirty seconds of airtime here? Megan Roup acknowledges she was introduced to Cozy Cardio through TikTok. To make Megan the “face” of this segment is incredibly distasteful - not to mention that she immediately debuted a “Cozy Sculpt” program after the segment aired. Co-opting the idea from the person who kickstarted it and doing an in-person interview with ANOTHER fitness influencer (while plugging her already established business) feels icky. Do better.
Hope Zuckerbrow is the creator and trademark holder of Cozy Cardio™. Megan Roup is completely unrelated to Cozy Cardio™ and the decision to present her as such is such a misstep for TODAY show.
Its so scummy how both the today show and Meagan did this. All of you need to apologize and be ashamed of your actions you know exactly what you did and why its not ok
Lets give the credit where its due yeah ?? Lets also not use skinny influencers just bc it may be more appealing to audiences, it says alot about you as people and as journalists.
I thought maybe this would be some kind of apology or at least a correction. Nope. Same crap. Please credit Hope. Megan has enough business without stealing her idea and then changing people for it through her app.
I think most people believe that they need to feel very out of breath to know they are working out well. But most don't realize that it's actually good to start working out slowly, and work yourself to more intense exercises over time. The body needs to adapt and build slowly to more demanding workouts. Hence, this trend is a good way to adapt or re-introduce yourself to working out. It also looks like a mindful meditation exercise as well.
Seriously, this should have been corrected before rerunning the feature. You gave credit to the wrong person and are selling the wrong information each additional time you show it. The creator is Hope Zuckerbrow and she is owed an apology at the very least and you, should do more research on your segments.
Wow, this is a whole cozy stealing pr tour that’s been arranged. Hope’s idea. Hope’s creation. Megan’s pic in the thumbnail. Megan all over the video. Just disgraceful.
Let’s get the creator to talk about what she created not an established pt who’s stealing from someone else

Yikes, this story is not well told. Hope lead the cozy cardio movement. This trainer is promoting her brand and that should be separate.

JUSTICE FOR HOPE, the TRUE creator

Immediately dislike. You guys took Hope out to promote a slimmer influencer and then Megan took the idea and used it in her own business.
Stop. Who cares about the women who stole it from such a sweet person as hope. Dislike
