Gm points are used for oil changes and stuff. it's basically credit. If you stay on them, they will send you a check. I had a Silverado in the shop for 5 months they sent me a check for 2k to cover payments
I just hope your DCT holds up ok. Every year since 2020, I've seriously looked at buying a C8 and I always get stuck at the forums and their reports of reliability and quality problems. So I want one, but will not buy one. You should be mad that this expensive car is not holding up. If this happens enough, I wonder if the aftermarket will come out with a solution.
Is not going to be covered, just because is where you’re arm rest every time you get out the car. That’s one of the first things I saw before I bought mine. so it comes down the way you come out of the car. GM has nothing to do with this issue it falls on us, that’s the way they see it.

Honestly its a great car the only problem ive had is with Chevy’s customer service…I daily drive mine

I had that issue they replaced it with a new top piece in leather. Also mine is red inside
