    Yeah, this was my youth. Sweet 17 at that time. Sadly the first season without Michael. Here in Germany the game was aired midnight. So I took an extralong VHS cassette to record the game and watched it next day after school. Without internet I was lucky that no one spoiled the results before watching. :-)

    Dont think ppl realize how GREAT Scottie really was all on his own. To play alongside another great @ times can stagnate your growth & deceive the public, let alone The GOAT. This was the season his leadership truly showed proving why he Grant & Armstrong all made the All-Star team.

    Pip earned his respect in the league that year when he showed he can keep the Bulls contenders w/out MJ.
    A few tantrums aside (Kukoc getting final touches), Pip became a legit HOF'er, and had it not been for horrible call vs the Knicks, he basically took the Bulls right back to the ECF vs the Pacers

    Although East roster consisted of role players like Starks, Oakley, BJ Armstrong, and Horace Grant, the fact that they played defense was the reason why they won the game.

    It's more fun to watch the allstar game played with intensity. back then it was the first allstar game i could watch live on tv in the middle of the night cause I'm in europe and I was twelve years old. now, 27 years later, somehow the great spirit seems to be gone. the nba still has some memorable moments, but with the age of social media, it feels like everything was cooked soft.

      Yes. Ewing was nasty and bullstrong from '92 to '97..that was his primeyears. And that year 1994, he lead Knicks to the NBA Finals but lost to Olajuwon and the Rockets.

    They were all going for rebounds, trying to block shots, steals....pure hustle the entire game, and there was no team Lebron or not of that búllshit like in this woke and weak era. They played with the players they had as teammates in their conferences and gave the fans a show.

    There’s something to be said when players actually know HOW to play the game of basketball… also I wish I had seen more Sean Kemp games here on the east coast. That man had a different kind of swag and joy playing the game. I know the city of Seattle had to live that team

    I really believe the entertainment of an all-star game correlates to how low scoring it is. If the winning team is around 125 like here - let alone under, that means there was some defense. If it's like 163-149, then it wasn't even remotely like a real game.
