Love SH dolls. They are fabulous. I don't think the price point is bad at all. They are the same price as G3 MH here in Europe (£29.99), not the 3 Rainbow vision dolls but the regular series. It is a good price for dolls that detailed and when they are reduced, they are a real bargain.
That is a good price for them! The two newest series I usually see for the same price as G3 MH, which I think was good for the quality, but the newest series had such a big quality drop that I don't really want to pay that. Older series when I see them in stores are usually $30+ USD, and even worse online. Maybe the stores in my area just suck
I have 3 Mermaze dolls. I love them but I don't want anymore because their faces really look too similar. I have Shellnelle and Jordie, my 2 favourites of the first wave and one of the winter wave. I like the "collector" one but I find her too expensive even reduced. They are quite amazing really but 3 is enough for me... space, space...
I agree the faces are p samey. The designs are different enough that it doesn't bother me a lot, but if the brand continued it definitely would have become an issue. I love Jordie!!! She's my most recent, but easily one of my favorites that I have.
