RUclips has a huge platform of creators in Combodia that they allow to post animal abuse videos of monkeys and there is a group of us that have done everything to try to stop it you wouldn’t even be aware there is such a platform that would allow it currently but sadly yes - just watch exploited monkey - that explains the current situation

Thank you for all your wonderful work with the monkeys. I was just wondering why there isn't a ban in place to prevent ownership of monkeys and non domestic animals? I would think that making it illegal to own a non domestic/monkey could prevent the tragic events like this from happening. Maybe if the RSPCA and your team lobby to get the law changed to illegal status things like today's event could be prevented and the trade of monkeys/non domestic animals could or would eventually be stopped? It kills me to see such beautiful animals in horrid conditions like this. I worked and lived in a rescue for several years and the conditions of the rescued animals was appalling. It was heart breaking every time a new animal arrived and the vet bills were so expensive even though we were given a 75% break in the price some animals bills were over $5,000 by the time all the treatments were done. Raising funding was a major problem for the rescue but somehow the bills were paid. I hope this problem of abandoned and abused animals begins to slow to a stop if the laws are changed. God Bless y'all for the hard work and sacrifices you make to keep your center running.

New Subscriber love your Channel ❤ so grateful for places like this after finding out about what really happens behind the scenes of Cambodian filmed Macaques its heartbreaking.
I wish someone(s) would put morals over money there and help to put an end to all of the abuse, death 😢 Supposedly the Monks started all of this when they decided to start filming them opening the door for the monsters, exploiters who'll do anything for another RUclips video, get monetized to profit off their vileness towards these innocent animals.

Welcome from another that found themselves accidentally learning from the Cambodian channels how cruel and evil humans can be to another living, breathing, sentient being. It is truly disgusting and mind boggling at the depths people will go to for a dollar. Money truly is the root for all evil.

@Jackie Prescott Toledo Zoo fan here. When I was a kid, my mom, who was a teacher, took her class to the zoo, and I got to go along. A chimp picked up a pile of poo, got it wet, threw it, and hit me in the chest area of my brand new dress. That crap slid all the way down my dress and plopped on the ground at my feet. Her students laughed their arses off, and I cried like a baby. But I still love the primates best.

Just horrific how our governments (laws or lack thereof) allow such abuse and misuse of animals to continue. The UK has this issue with primates that should not be sold as pets. The US has puppy mills and unscrupulous breeders. When caught, the fines are not enough to deter future abuse. Also in the US, towns and cities never have enough money budgeted for Animal Control Officers. The result, sadly, is suffer the animals and little children. On a positive note: watermelon for the chimps and fresh grapes for the woolies, delightful. Oh, your training and introductions are top-notch. Toperish (sp) is on her way.... slowly but surely thanks to Alison and the primate care staff. So rewarding. Thank you Monkey World.

There seems to be a lack of education on the subject of trying to make a pet out of a wild animal. Starting in grade school is where it needs to start in order for there to be a true understanding of wild animals and even their role in the future of our planet all wild animals are is a subject that is also lacking in education.

Something tells me they did not even know the guenon was pregnant. So cool they have a new baby. Praying the new Chimp fits in with the others sooner rather than later. It has got to be very very hard on her. Not knowing how to be with her own kind. Its heartbreaking to see those 2 marmosets in such appalling conditions. Allison and her team are angels.

This just breaks my heart. The two rescues. I watch a lot of video on monkeys, primates. And see a lot of pet monkey videos as a means of income. As I can’t keep my views quiet I’m frequently critical. I then get attacked. And recommend everyone go watch Monkey World. I was against wild animals as pets even before seeing Monkey World. My Dad was a kindhearted man who found a litter of baby raccoons and took them home. He did everything he knew to give them a good life. But even as a young man could see the longing in their eyes to be free. He knew they would not 😮❤survive in the wild. (A lot of raccoon hunting in his area at that time. ).

If I were Alison I would ask Princess Anne for help. She’s a horsewoman but still, the entire family loves animals and I think she or another family member may help to facilitate a change in the law. Something has to be done!

The black market will be there to keep allowing laws to be broken by selfish humans who want what they want, regardless of the cost to any animal. But, yes, any help with having laws changed is always a good thing. Education is also key. Too many naive buyers and too many that believe they can actually make a wild animal a domesticated pet.
