PSA: It's been several months since windowblinds has worked correctly. The problem isn't with Stardock though, it's because MS keeps updating Windows (even small cumulative updates break things). MS really doesn't want you to skin their OS. I went back to Win10 to get things to work again. My favorite skin is Aero Frost, using translucentTB.
Please fix bad performance especially with transparency. Programs can take several times longer to open transparency or not, and when using transparency having only 8 windows open top of each other even if only one is visible on the screen causes extreme lag. If WindowBlinds could run fine on lower spec hardware I would buy a license in a heartbeat.
I used to toy around with this 15 years back on windows xp. Today I just paid for it because I just can't live with Windows 11 rounded borders. We need more users to be using windows blinds on their production system.

And also for the Luna substyle can you add all the different colors that Windows xp had: Silver Olive green Royale Royale noir Zune Embedded It would be nice if you add these. Thanks!!!
as others have stated, a recent Win11 update broke Windowblinds 11. microsoft is making way too many unnecessary UI changes. they should wait until win12 before making any UI changes.
Using Blinds11 on Win11, it's not working correctly. The taskbar is no longer skinnable. I'm trying to use Aero Frost (curved taskbar), which was working before the last moment update. Blinds 11 also had a recent update, which I thought would fix the issue. Still no joy :(

How can I uninstall it correctly? After uninstall I still see a process WBSrv.exe from "C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\WindowBlinds\" filder.But there is no this program in installed Apps. I have WIn10. I don't see the process after restart but the folder is still there. To bad that this program creates garbage in system.

I agree but imagine you work with windows many hours a day and you hate the default UI and there is no way to change it, and then you decide to make a cool program to change the UI and you put a lot of effort and hours of your time into it. Would you give it for free?

this software is absolute hell 😭 the changes can never be undone. it has NO reason to be this resource intensive. there are several bugs. it just doesn't work properly for more than 10 minutes. thank God it has a trial period, if i've paid for this i'd literally k*** myself
I remember using this to simulate Longhorn on XP. It was so much fun. Also reminds me how many profoundly pathetic versions of Windows we have been plagued with since then. Vista, 8, 11 have all been as bad as Millenium Edition and 98 with a Matrox Mystique.

No hate against Start11 in any way, but different people just have different preferences. How in the heck is this an issue the developer of startallback, the taskbar that literally gets replaced by another program, can change? I just dont want blinds fiddeling anything besides actual blinds. Not my task bar, nothing. Only this can resolve the issue and prevent two things that want to archieve the same from colliding. The only thing i can literally do on startallbacks side is uninstall it. Also in Windows 10 those two programs were compatible, and blinds is the program that got another version for windows 11, Startallback stayed the same.

Blinds 11 broke in a recent win update. Taskbar refuses to skin.
