I’m a guy and I was not disappointed when spent the afternoon making this honey butter bread. Easy follow instructions. Hardest part was waiting for the dough to rise. Bread taste better than Texas Road house rolls or any restaurant bread/rolls. I’ll be making this bread again.

I made this tasty treat today. I followed the recipe exactly, weighing all the ingredients, but found the dough was stickier than on the video. No major problem. i just lightly dusted the table with flour and it worked out fine. Since I didn't have two small, oval bread pans, I cut the dough in 12 pieces and baked it in a regular size bread pan. I needed to add 15 minutes to the baking time. Everyone loved it! Thanks for sharing!
The amount of liquid needed varies according to the specific flour used and the temperature and humidity where you are. You need to just prod it with a finger and you’ll soon get used to gauging it. Every oven varies, too, an oven thermometer is essential. Happy baking - these tutorials are the best. ❤

Just finished making these loaves. Whew! 1st off, it's so soft, fluffy and tasty. The butter/honey spread? Perfect but I don't see why you can't experiment with other flavors. It's going to be delicious any way you go. 2nd. Savor, out of all of your recipes this was the hardest dough for me to knead. It seems like it has too much liquid. I know you always say the % of protein in our flour makes a difference but I'm using an APF that has 11.7% (the brands bread flour has 12.7%). Other than those 2 I can't find a another brand in store that has it listed any higher. Although my dough was quite wet I did manage to get it to pass the window pane test. And it baked up beautifully. Can you please share what brand you're using or what the % is? I know you're not in the US so the % would more likely be most helpful. With all that said I'm glad I made it. Thanks for yet again another tasty bread recipe... 👏

I know what you mean. I haven't made bread in a while because I can't put pressure with the palms of my hands. The heels of my hands, where the hand joins the wrist, is really painful if I put any kind of pressure. So kneading is out of the question. I've made some kind of no knead version of this bread but it's not quite as smooth textured as this. Great taste though.
@@iluminameluna I have asked my husband for a stand mixer for Christmas, one that I can use for kneading. Hopefully it will be feesable for the job. My heart goes out to you and all who desire to cook but have obstacles in the way. I'm only 49 but Multiple Sclerosis wears me out and keeps me from doing things that I would have done in the past, maybe that stand mixer will help me. God bless you my friend♥️

As I'm preparing to make this yummy bread, I See in Your Video you add 1/3 cup softened butter, but that ingredient was not listed in your instructions. I wanted you to be aware, plus, I'm so glad I caught that slip becuz when it didn't turn out, I'd be beating myself up! Now, I'm going to make it, even though it's late!

It's 9pm, I am now wanting to go to the grocery store, grab more yeast,( I have only 1tbspn left) I have all other ingredients...I wish I had not come across this, I'm about to wake the whole house up around 2am with this baking!!! LoL!! 😉🥰 This looks absolutely amazing, I can't wait to try it!
@@SavorEasy I love more of a yeast flavor, I always double my yeast. If I make it with only the amt of yeast I have, it won't be eaten, so I don't want to waste ingredients!
@@joymelton-bollen6383 If you are ever short some yeast, you can just let it rise longer for the same results. I made one of her bread recipes and accidentally put in 1-1/4 tsps instead of 2-1/4. I just let it rise an extra hour on the first, and an extra 45 mins on the second. It came out perfectly fine, since yeast multiples.
