I have now owned five Zaviras. Three petrol and two diesel. To hell with the review experts! Just count the number of Zafiras on UK roads. What better review than that? I have driven many cars in my long life. My present 1.7 Design 125 2011 with full body kit is a gem! Why spend money on an Elitist badge when you can enjoy safe and enjoyable motoring with the Griffin Badge?

Our family has a Vauxhall zafira and I think its a 1.8, we are a family of four so we don't use the two extra seats often, only if we carry more than five or six. It doesn't matter how much leg room you want even in the boot seats there's enough room as you can adjust the middle ones!!:-)

The one we have is identical to the one in this video.
Great colour, always gets positive comments & being the 1.6petrol is great on fuel. Much better than the 1.8 we had previously.

I've had a 1.6 petrol for a year now and I don't see how it's under powered? With 7 people in the car you aren't going to be flying around like a sports car but it drives fine. Also it is absolutely fantastic on petrol!
Had a 1.8 zafira before this one and that was bad on petrol.

I had zafira A 1.8, it was not good in fuel but it was average but it was punchy, was useful on the motorway

1.6 was no good for me as where I live there's a lot of rural roads and hills

      Ditto.
      Had a 1.8 before & since a 1.6.
In my mind theres very little difference in power, though there is in mpg...the 1.6 being great.

Actually a great car, only gripe is the door bins etc, and space for items on a long journey you can’t even put a bottle of water in them!, apart from that good cars.

watch?v=jEXojwTYRHY&feature=youtube_gdata - I would agree with you there, you do get better value with the likes of Ford and Vauxhall than anyone else. I like the S-max best, but Zafira would be my second choice.

1.8 petrol did have 1.6 and the power diff is incredible the 1.8 has plenty of power and just wants to go but the 1.6 really struggles fully loaded, it's great when another car comes racing up behind you thinking oh god a slow zafira then you leave them for dust 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Make sure they’ve had a safety recall done by a Vauxhall dealer it is free. Had sons 14 year old one done last year, lots out there that have not had the recall work done.

@@lea-rw5cb early on some had issues with a heater component that would overheat and catch fire, but all Zafiras currently on the roads have either had the recall work done, or didn't need it.
