I have this concert on DVD and this is my favourit part of the entire concert. I just love it whenever GNR performs Rolling Stones songs, they suit them so well and they perform them so well, whether with guitar solos or vocals.

FINALLY someone who ISN'T dissing Gilby!!!! I don't understand why EVERYONE is always dissing him! It pisses me off and I can't understand it? He was the only possible replacement for Izzy in my opinion, same style in the way he looked and the way he played and such a nice guy. I met him back in 1992 and got his autograph and he was so polite and nice! And he was always cool with doing interviews and always so nice when he talked.
There are still gigs like this, not on this scale. But search around smaller places and you'll be surprised. But I wish it was like this today, more variety. Everything was popular then, from dance to speed metal. Nowadays its hip hop, rap or techno/dance/rave.
both izzy and gilby are cool...of course, everyone loves izzy more cus he was one of the original members but gilby was also great and really stepped up when the opportunity came his way
