Been glued to sky tv since 7oclock this morning watching final day practice the crowds has been unreal and what an atmosphere. Stands around 18 full. The reception for four ball of mcilroy Hovland Hatton and fleetwood was unbelievable you would have thought one of them had won it

I played Royal Liverpool exactly one year ago, and I still remember virtually every shot I took there. Of course, the hole that you played as #3 is hole #1 for members, etc. I played 4-wood, 3-hybrid to the front of the greens, avoiding the internal OB, and opened my round with a par. Then I pushed the drive into the deep hay to the right of the 2nd fairway and was lucky to get away with a bogey. The gorse got me more than once during my round, and I was lucky to walk off of the 18th green with a 91; however, I managed to keep my ball in play and avoid OB …. but not the bunkers and gorse bushes!

In GSPro the deep rough penalty is dependent on launch angle. So a 3 wood out of the deep rough is going to lose a lot more distance (proportionally) than a 7 iron.
Mikey should have hit it backwards in that bunker and been out in 1 shot... you can click in the mini map to aim to a different spot. Up against the bunker wall and I was screaming out at my tv... HIT IT BACKWARDS! :)

Love the GSPro content! Just wanted to let you know that normally you can hit through manmade things like grandstands. Somehow when they design it they are visually there but won't get in the way of the ball somehow haha
I guess I'm not 100% sure about this course, but I know on Georgia Golf Club you can hit through them!

I noticed that when you are against those pot bunker in GS Pro it's best to use a Sim Drop. Take your medicine and move on. 10:12
That's true. But for more integrity it's best to aim backwards and hit the shot out the bunker rather than just take sim drop.

I went on Sunday the 1st day of practice and they had 20mph wind 38mph gusts 💨 and they was struggling
Are you two using the mouse to aim while putting? I could not see the aim point stick.
If you want to putt withlut using it you need to turn off the HLA correction in settings. This will allow you to hit bigger breaks as with it on you cannot hit outside 2.0°. It is also randomized anove the 2.0 range and it also accounts for distance in the algorithm
I have to ask...as tight as the fairways are and how penal the deep rough is, why hit long clubs off the tee? Risk vs reward just doesn't seem to favor those. Why not a DI or 4i? Ya the leaves a long iron in, but better than out of the deep rough most holes?

If you two "THINK" that those hybrid/woods would have yielded such results...you are both dreaming. Hence, ZERO change of proper clubhead contact in such high rough. The different in "real life" vis AI BS. That said, good workout.
Potential lost balls as well in the deep rough
