The zerk fittings came with the Honda.

I had the same setup on my 2020 Hewescraft with a Yamaha 150/9.9. My 9.9 did not have the zerk fittings like your 9.9 Honda and without lubrication it froze in the steering tube. A common problem. Did your Honda come with the zerk fittings or did you add them? Nice work.
