- I got a new boat a 2007 North River Seahawk 20' with a offshore bracket it comes to 22'. 150HP Yamaha main motor with a much needed kicker that I wanted real bad so I can have a second motor when traveling on the ocean. It only has 135 hours. I am so happy to get a new boat.
I want to thank all of you. Its been one year on RUclips and its been a great experience so far because of you! Thank you for all the positives vibes you guys send my way!
What’s going on Chris>....... Nice move up👍 I went from a 14 foot Klamath to a 19 foot Boulton. A little bit of unsolicited advice, just because your new boat is bigger doesn’t mean the ocean is smaller. Fish on!!
I found the video about your boat! Awesome. The one thing I do like about my 18.5 foot North River is that it’s on a single axle. The boat is so easy for me to launch and haul out by myself. I am really interested in your upgrades, Chris. Especially the flying bridge or, whatever you call that thing up above the cover with the rod holders. Also, I’m looking at radar units now after seeing one on yours. You are an inspiration, kid. Keep it up!
Thanks for all your knowledge of fishing The Bay and Sacramento river your new boat Is so awesome😎🎣🚤🐟🐠🤙🏽
Congrats brother for a beautiful boat. She is beautiful and you will enjoy many year of successful fishing trips with your family and friends. Also congrats on successful RUclips channel. Wishing you happiness and looking forward to seeing many awesome fishing videos. Fish on!
thank you I appreciate your support!
I knew that was your boat on Craigslist
yup its ready for a new home. Thank you for watching my videos!
Is it sold yet?
Happy anniversary Chris!! And congrats on the new rig. The fish have nowhere to hide now!!! I also had no experience filming, editing, or talking on camera when I first started. I’m surely not a pro at any of those now but slowly getting better and better with each vid. Keep it up!!! Maybe I’ll see you out there one of these days👍
And maybe I’ll get a kayak and get to see you fish out there one of these days Adam. Your content is getting better as well.
Thanks man, you gave me a boost of confidence when you commented on my channel for the first time a few months back! We will run into each other at some point I am sure. Your invited on my boat anytime and I got room for two more now so if you got any ideas for how we can use the boat together for a trip please email me. Stay safe out there, and good luck! chrispfish2@gmail.com
Sweet boat! I looked for my aluminum for months as well. I went with an 18ft (2ft pod) Silver Streak and love it.
I would recommend getting an arch for rod storage on the water and to hold your net. Having mine made soon and will add a radar.
Looking forward to your new videos!
hi Mike, nice congrats on your new boat! Yeah I am looking to do some additions like that! thanks for watching!
Your videos are always fun to watch. A lot of others get dull after awhile, yours don't! Fish on Ron Oregon
super nice of you to drop the comment!
Hey Chris, Congrats on you new boat, that’s a great fishing machine. Can’t wait to see your new video on your boat. Tight lines and be safe!!’🎣🎣🎣
thanks I appreciate the support! You have been there since the beginning and that means a lot!
That boat was a definite lucky find. I just got a new Seahawk, 22ft. The boat market is on fire.
Not much to choose from. New or used.
yeah i had been looking for 2 months. I was on that one right away when it popped up! thanks I appreciate the support!
Wow that’s a 2007?! Looks much newer. Awesome rig!
I was in the water Sunday and heard over channel 19; about your new boat. Can’t wait to see your videos in your new boat. Congratulations!
I saw you and your brother out yesterday and as soon as you landed your salmon and clapped your hands I knew it was the trademark happy Chris. That’s why I called out your name. I talked to a lot of boaters that saw you in the mix yesterday so you definitely have people’s attention. Great work getting anything yesterday because most of everybody I talked to back at the docks got nothing.
good stuff! Happy we could run into each other on the water! We hooked 5 from 930-1230. 3 in the box, 1 shaker and giant that got caught on the downrigger. thanks for watching the channel!
No more plastic bin for bleeding fish.
Nice boat, much safer for the ocean and comfortable too!
Congrats!
Congratulations on your new boat. Enjoy!
thanks I appreciate the support! You have been there since the start, means a lot!
Hi Chris, Congrats on your new boat. You are going to love that North River. I have a 2008 22' North River Commander. It is wider that stock and has a Chevy 6.0 ls2 engine with 400hp hamilton 212 jet for skinny water. My boat is Corvette Yellow, with a Black removable hardtop. You probably have seen me on the Sacramento river during Salmon season. I have been watching your RUclips channel for a while now. My son and I went up to Woodson bridge area of the Sacramento River last weekend. We had great luck getting some good size Salmon on bobbers and Roe. Again Congrats....you will be happy for sure. Calvin
sorry for the double post......thought the first one didn't go in lol.
Word of caution... redo the trailer bearings...if you screw up a spindle, you will need to buy a new trailer. You can't just install a spindle or axle spindle it will need to be welded on. Later trailers have replaceable axles spindles.
ChrisP always enjoy your videos and pleasant informative commentary. New boat appears to be totally rigged for all your needs. Looking forward to your next videos. Stay Safe, Tight Lines, Best Wishes on landing that first fish in your new boat.
Now your as crazy as the rest of us buying bigger boats to do more fishing😜 sweet boat can't wait for the vid to come out!👍😄🐟

thanks I appreciate the support!
Wow nice boat. You’ll have have a lot of fun with that.
WE live once. Enjoy your NEW adventures my friend.
Hell yeah man! Congrats on the upgrade, that’s a sweet boat 👏
Kayak Fishing with Matt easy aluminum don’t brake down over time like fiberglass also fiberglass is a lot heavier so more fuel and bigger motor to push it . Also cracks under pressure and can’t take a hit . Also fiberglass is way more expensive to repair over aluminum most guys can weld aluminum back together when they get home and pull a dent if needed . Also the wood in the fiberglass boats rots fast so plan on ever 10 years redoing floors and transom . Salt eats everything but I believe it eats the crap out of fiberglass and gel coat over aluminum . Best of luck with your search I prefer aluminum 1/8 thick hull or more any day over fiberglass just look at navy ships medal , coast guard going to medal boats for a reason last for ever don’t brake down like fiberglass as it losses it straight over time . If you go fiberglass be very careful to look it over well and start saving for the future costly repairs . Tight lines . There is cons and pros to both but that’s all The prof I need above to stick with a tin over a fiberglass. Will never own a fiberglass agin headaches..
Thanks Matt! we still need to find time to go with each other. I appreciate the support over my first year!
ChrisPfish hey yeah anytime! No problem man, you’ve been killing it!!

yeah exactly, i needed that. thanks I appreciate all your support, i recognize your name from the start of the channel.
@@ChrisPfish2 yep been following you since since last october!
May your new boat bring you wonderful memories and fish.
Congratulations brotha, I'm so excited for you. That's an amazing boat i can't wait for new videos in that bad boy
thanks I appreciate the support!
Wow that is SHARP! I don't have a boat yet and you just rattled off all the names i've been looking at. I was even very impressed with the performance and accessibility you were able to get with your Lund. Hopefully i'll be able to get a boat sooner rather than later, just so many things to buy/pay for haha.. I need a boat like that to pull behind my truck/camper! Wanted to tell you again how stoked I am to watch your videos - i am on a couple of the Norcal fishing pages on FB and a lot of it is pretty much crap. pictures and snarky answers to questions like rigging/bait and stuff like that. I've been going out on charters almost my whole life out of SF Bay and Bodega and i've learned more in a couple weeks about technique and how to use gear, etc. than I have in years of going on charters or asking people on Fb so keep up with the totally awesome content! Now I need a job like yours so I can go fishing as often as you do hahaha.. where are you based out of anyway? keep 'em coming- John
Congratulations Chris.
Wow nice one, congrats! We owned a boat one time but then i prefer to have a camper. I enjoy fishing along the shore and camping. Enjoy your boat with your family.
Nice boat, congratulations! I had the 2007 18'6" Seahawk and absolutely loved it. You will be happy you got the 150 HP, I had the 115 HP and it struggled. I rarely used the backdraft, only on extremely cold days salmon fishing the Sac. I have Heater Buddy and would close it down the curtains and it was cozy even in 29-degree weather. Now all you need is a Rip Tide upfront and you will be good to go.
Oh, and I had a tower made. The kicker is cold blooded, this is natural for Yamaha kickers.
Thanks Jon, I appreciate all your support from the beginning!
keep it going dude! I cant wait to get my boat registered so I can see you out there! Nice videos, I watch them with my kids and we love it
thanks I appreciate the support! try and make them family friendly for everyone! get that boat registered!

Congrats big dog! Happy for you.
Good shit my friend I'm happy for you! Keep videos coming!
Congrats enjoy your new boat stay safe.
Congratulations
Hey buddy I’m super stoked for you! One thing you’re going to want to watch is your fuel/water separator! If you don’t have one separate from the motor, let me know and I’ll send you one! Yamahas are notorious for getting water to the injectors!
thanks for the heads up. I got one put in on my last boat.
Dude I’m so stoked for you! How cool to get a bigger boat so stoked
Congrats!! New boat.
Awesome boat, your going to like that in rough water!
Congratulations on your new boat
Thats a great boat. We use a 22' Seahawk in the northwest for big water halibut and kings. Super stable in snotty weather. Congrats man. Tight lines. They make a rocket launcher rod holder for the roof and side that works awesome for nets and rods :)
Hell ya brother! what an awesome looking boat!
i"m Good. Thanks, enjoy the boat.
Congratulations on the new ride!!!
Wow what a nice boat. Big upgrade. I wish l has that money.
Sweet boat congratulations brudda!!

That's a sweet boat, I've seen a lot of those in alaska, they are nice boats, from the small skiff to the big offshore hard top model, always like watching your videos!
thanks I appreciate the support!
Congrats!!!! Keep the great videos coming.
thanks I appreciate the support!
Nice boat, looking forward to more videos
Congrats on the new to you North River! I’m enjoying your videos, very informative. Hey you mentioned in an earlier video that you would share how you evaluate the weather and tides to head out fishing in your smaller boat. Are you going to share that with us? Are you going to fish differently now that you have the North River? I’m happy for you, this will be much safer for you and your family!
i dont plan on changing much with the new boat. I will make a weather video when there is down time in fishing. right now fishing is prime time. I work full time during the week and fish on the weekends. Also have a wife and two kids. So right now my nights are editing the trips from the weekends. I will make the video though, just dont know when.
Very nice boat. I got my eye out for a junky Hull like this so I can redo it myself.
Awesome looking boat Chris, mind sharing how much something like that cost? My dream boat ❤️
Probably 65 or 70 used dude it’s crazy
Yoooo, congrats, you so deserve this!!!
Thanks Terry! I am really excited about the upgrade.
Where did you buy the boat? How much? It is really clean and very sweet!
You earned it. Great videos thanks!
