I think all these puns were giving Tiffany a Spawneurysm.
Gotta admit, Salbolgia actually made me laugh out loud
😂😂😂
I love the fact that comic book LEGENDS like Gaiman and Moore worked on Spawn... Can't wait to see the full episode.
Man, now I want Neil Gaiman, Grant Morrison, and Alan Moore to be trapped in a room with each other just to see what would happen.
It's likely that Grant Morrison and Alan Moore would rip each other's throats out while Neil Gaiman writes a story about it
@@gowthamtangirala2037 ...either that or Grant Morrison and Neil Gaiman will get along splendidly and Alan Moore would sit in the background and grumble
Or they would write the most confusing and controversial comic ever.
Just invite them to do a GBU special guest appearance together, bet it would be a hoot.
00:33 you can see how much sal physically regretted saying that
From the looks of it we still need to decide between Spawnomenon and phenomeSpawn. Spawn offs is genius though.
EDIT: My personal vote is for Spawnomenon.
Best Tiffany reaction since the Jizzler of Batman Earth One
Tiffany was like “aight ima head out.” 😂
I am 😂 at Sal's Alan Moore impression.
With all the 90s madness, how about a couple episodes dedicated to Witchblade and/or The Darkness?
Ah, the perfect thing to end off a long day with. Thanks, guys.
We need fan art of Salebolgia pronto!
That ending was quality! 🤣
The look on Sal's face at 0:42 GOT ME !!!
Oh gawd I can’t stop laughing and I’m only three minutes in
Thank you so much guys for making another fun episode of GBU
Salbolgia made me fall over while doing laundry, that was amazing
ROFLOL that ending is why i love spawn on ComicPOP it truly does SPAWN greatness . Salbolgia XD
Salbulga still cracks me up every time I hear it
I'm a big fan of Terry Moore, so seeing his last 3 series have their first issues square off against each other would be interesting (Rachel Rising, Motor Girl and Strangers in Paradise XXV)
Always interesting to see you review 3 issues I had during the 90s. :D
Fantastic episode
Spawn mania baby #IWANTMORECOMICPOP #RUclipsRECOMENDTHISCHANNELMORE
Salbolgia.........I'm dead.
I'd be on board for Spawn The Dark Ages for Liam Sharp alone. I mean, if I can read Danzig's G.O.T.H. just for his art, I think I could dig on this too.
Another insanely entertaining GBU! Also, the "REAL" Al Simmons??? Remember when Kramer was the "REAL" Mr Peterman (Elaine's eccentric boss) on Seinfeld... its like he's the KRAMER of Spawn comics! LOL
I was not suprise that a book called Violator had a very limited run
It's books like Violator that cause me to rack my brain attempting to understand how the Comics Industry tanked in the 90's.
As for themes, I'd love to see another obscure character GBU, those have been some of my favorite. Maybe with Blade's eventual movie we can get a Vampires 2.0, perhaps with a return of my boi Thorgi wink wink nudge nudge.
The PhenomeSpawn of Spawn fever is sweeping the nation!
Oh man, I had Violater number 1 when I was a kid (before I knew who Alan Moore was), I remember thinking it was hilarious!
I don't know how I'd like it today but the Depeche Mode fan in mee would give it a try just for name's sake!
salbolgia!!!!ahahahahah
I'm here to support Angela and all her pre Marvel glory! Hopefully she gets some great stories in the future again!
I know. Image Angela was great. I guess she will be in a new Stikeforce book tomorrow with Blade and a couple others. I'm not getting it but I wonder how they will use Angela.
I want to see Ben in Macbeth
I'm on a big Spawn kick again and miss GBU. Time for another viewing!
I'm hoping you would consider covering the rest of Spawn Dark Ages or Angela considering you literally have the trade with all three issues so would you consider talking about issues 2 and three
Can this be a series?
Alan Moore vs Neil Gaiman: Whatever Happened to...
Alan Moore vs Neil Gaiman: Miracleman.
26:00 - I did some checking, to my knowledge they did not make an Admonisher action figure. Most likely because (my opinion) Todd didnt think of it first so he said no lol.
Spawn Got Medieval on some Grave Diggers Asses 🤣 hahaha ! If Medieval Spawn was played by Ving Reigns
That outro 🤣
Good, the bad and the ugly with 3 DC Tangent comics books next please
okay, idea for a GB&U theme:
foreign comics, all from different countries, translated into English
possible examples:
Cybersix (Spanish/Argentina), Dylan Dog (Italian), Exit Wounds (Hebrew/Israel), Gundala (Indonesian), Metabarons (French), Nemi (Norwegian), and of course any number of manga titles
This episode guest stars Salan Moore.
For more GBU you should pick random numbers, like 164, and if you have 3 books that are #164, you do those.
Or take 3 different creative teams from the same book (like X Factor) and pit those three different teams against one another.
What I'm trying to say is, I need more GBU in any form. 😊
Lady Dearh/Spawn could be cool.
Spawn
The greatest GBU???
Which Angela do you guys prefer? Image's original version, or Marvel's current version?
For me the Image Angela. How bout you?
John Carter I’ve never read an Image comic and one of my first comics was Witch Hunter Angela, so I’m definitely biased towards Marvel’s version.
Image's Angela is the best version , she's underused and tamed in marvel .
yay neil Gaiman on spawn sounds fun
So Spawn!
CONAN
Are you suggesting this as a future GBU topic? If so, I think you could be on to something...
_Conan the Barbarian_ vs _Slaine_ vs _Arak Son of Thunder_ ?
Will never not suggest CONANN
return of spawn? return of salan moore? return of angela?
what an episode
I want a spawn omnibus with the mini series included. Now that neither Neil gamen or McFarlane own the rights to Angela now he should be able to include issue #9 in this hardcovers or trades
Wouldn't Marvel have to agree since they own the rights to Angela?
@@101Mant im not %100 sure how that works but i thought as long as its a Spawn issue they can included but not if its one of the Angela mini series issues not sure dough
Can you do one with Chapel.
So, this is off-topic, but I only now noticed the Magik statue in the background and was wondering if anyone knew where to get one?
Do they not know who Liam Sharp is?
I think when Tiffany and Sal both said, "Wow, Liam Sharp did this?" it was a pretty good indicator that at least 2/4 knew who Liam Sharp is.
@@comicpop hmmmmm
Man I don’t think anybody ask for a violator book LOL
So which is the good as I only see bad and ugly?
No ones gonna bring up Angela slept with Al in her own miniseries? Oh well.
It's the first issue.
@@comicpop the image looks like the graphic novel or TPB from here. However I understand; you've only covered the 1st issue
I actually like The Violator series 'cause it's so cheesy and wacky. It's is just a gore fest with bad puns. If you take it seriously, it's game over. Same goes, in a way, for Angela. I'm noy salty and I really like this review, but most of this stuff is a sort of guilt pleasure that does not resist much scrutiny.
Revenge of...
Yeah Alan Moore should stick with the serious stuff Comedy is not his thing
