People acting like the thermos flask hasn't existed since the 1800s.
Pretty sure I bought this exact same tumbler like 5 years ago😂
Don't encourage people to buy into a new trending item 😭 just use what you've got. I literally freeze a cheap water bottle and top it up with water as the ice freezes and as I drink it
Pretty sure my great grandpa had the OG one🤣
I got my 1. something L thermos cup (smaller than the Stanley) at home. It’s huge. It’s bigger than my handbag but kids and teens carrying those huge cups around😂😂😂.
It's like styles they come and go them come again
I’m so tired of the obsession with this thing. 😆
I only recently found out about this obsession over this tumbler and I’m already sick of it🙄🙄🙄
In my opinion the traditional large Stanley thermos that used to be marketed to construction workers is much more valuable and durable
@@Tran-ll2itthe thermos, yes. These cups aren’t really though. If you only buy one and use it everyday then yeah. But this buying a new one with each color launch is overkill.
@@baggergurl16when it flooded my TT feed I was like OMG WHAT IS HAPPENING
Me too
All I can say is congratulations to the CEO. It’s so interesting to watch the craze behind this product.
They literally went out of business and came backs now that’s slaying
Yeti is 😖. Ugly Mugz works great, no lead! ✅️
I mean.. carrying around 4 pounds is good for your bones! 😂
ikr! i wouldn’t even have to go to the gym! 😂😂😂😂😂
Mine doesn’t even spill this video is overhyped
Exactly
I have one and I carry it at school all day I have the 20oz it’s purple
@Preppy..Summer.sameee! It's because it's ✨StAnLeY WAtEr✨
Why would you just carry this around as your regular water bottle? This is something I'll take to my daughter's soccer game, or to work.
soccer mom lol i’m just joking haha it’s just a thing everyone jokes about when they see someone with a bunch of stanley’s they call them a soccer nom or a utah mom lol
because it's easy to carry around as a watter bottle? You just answered your own question. edit: Not to mention it's insulated.
@@sooner91uh a water bottle easier to carry around. You can attached the handle to your bag/backpack or throw it in your bag. This one you gotta carry it around with hands up
SLOWNESS HAVE YOU SEEN THE PRICE OF THOSE THINGS
Why not though? I would
I thought the same thing until I tested my wife's stanley that i bought her 2 years ago. I work in the paint shop of a car assembly plant. During summer days during the day or night my department is always 90+ degrees. By mid shift all the ice on all the tumblers I tested were already melted. My wife's stanley held the ice all 10 hours long. It's the crazy people that are giving stanley a bad rep
heres the thing, it's not a waterbottel, it's a cup, so it's not meant the be leak proof
its not a cup its a tumbler
THANK YOU
@@PiperAndMayStanley cup
My 24 oz Starbucks sparkly mermaid stainless steel cup with a straw has never failed me.
Yup l have that agreed
Agree ❤️
I have the same tumbler but used it for coffees mostly. I recently got an Owala water bottle for my birthday and I do love it.
Link???
Mhm girly they still pop 💅
i got one the other day just so i could take a big water bottle around and have it in my cup holder when i drive to and from work and it’s honestly so much better than i expected. the cup holder and handle are great and all but it’s so well made and sturdy. it’s not top heavy at all so idk what they’re talking about, but the best part that I didn’t even think about was the straw. I don’t have any downtime at work, so not having to twist a top off to drink has been a game changer. I can just run back and take a sip and I find myself drinking SO much more water because of it. It’s not a bottle so it’s not supposed to be leak proof, and it keeps ice for I swear like a whole entire day. viral be damned I’m glad I got it. it’s a great product. and just because some other companies have similar products doesn’t mean people aren’t allowed to get a stanley if they want to
You have the first tumbler that was released. The tumbler 2.0, the lid is different and has a rubber piece that holds the straw in place. The turning piece on top has been resigned to previous splashs and spills.
2.0 model still leaks. Sending mine back
Just got the new color Jade 3 weeks ago and it sucks! It's still spilling just as in the short
STILL LEAKS. The Simple Modern Tumblr doesn't leaaakkkk at all
It still spills but its not meant to be thrown around. I work 12 hour shifts so it's perfect by the desk, never having to refill ice.
that's why silicone stoppers were created
I understand why people like the cup so much because it looks very cool and the strong hands are also very cool, but the dupes are much cheaper and they work and look the exact same so just get a dupe it’s much cheaper. My mom got me a dupe with a decal to go on it that says not a Stanley with the Stanley logo lol
They missed the target by not offering a closable straw lid.
I don’t own one, but I’ve seen videos of people figuring out that the lid can rotate to close the straw hole😅
@@zoridvorak2971 but you have to remove the straw to do so, then what, put it in your pocket til you need a drink?
They do do that
@@zoridvorak2971Still not leak proof and you have to remove the straw, not convinient as a closable straw.
I have $20 cups that offer everything the Stanley offers and they’re leak proof with the straw in it.
A craze is just a craze and will not last long
Stanley has lasted 110 years previously coz of good product.
the ice flow version is so much better is has a straw you can open and close and it doesnt leak the handle is also at the top so easier to carry and its doesnt feel as heavy because of it
The Stanley Classic Trigger Action Travel Mug (16oz) is way better. Smaller, lighter, leakproof, dishwasher safe, and No straw needed. I have had one for 2 years while working in a factory. Still looks brand new.
I thought exactly the same!!!! It is more multitask as you can use it for more outing than just in your car commute. It seems more confortable too! It is easier to travel around with in (handbags, bagpack, etc). The stanley adventure tumbler is not available for the European market while the trigger action travel mug is.
For working gals.
12 inches and 4lb that’s a whole weapon, easier to carry around a sock full of quarters 😂
I agree that it's overhyped. The insulated mug is far from an original idea. You can probably buy a similar product that is just as big, fits in the cup holder and, is completely leak proof without the straw in, for half the price. But, I can't fault the company for having some amazing marketing.
im in middle school and i have a stanley! i have been more motivated to drink water now that i have it, you may wonder "why do you drink more its a overhyped cup?"well i drink more of it because its always in my hand! but not just that, it holds ice for SO long! there are a couple downsides like it being heavy or spilling, but mine doesn't do that! (unless you put it right upside down) the only problem is i have been bringing ALOT of stuff to school, this gives me less room to hold stuff... but thanks for reading! (i have the white 40 oz)
They let you bring this thing into school? That honestly surprises me..
They don't tuck well in back packs
Don't hold the cup upside-down then maybe it wouldn't leak ? Like... it's a... straw... cup... OK. Lol.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Want a straw cup go to a gas station and you'll get 1 for 75% cheaper. Pointless stanley cup, way better tumblers out there for cheaper
Yes ofc but it also leaks from the side .. 😭
Yeah, like he said if accidently knocked down it will leak
Its top heavy & falls down & then will leak
Just looking at this seems top heavy, like the cup never forgets to skip leg day 😂
It looks like it's 2ft tall!
I only got one of these cups because I need a cup that will last. And having a kinda expensive cup makes me drink more water, which I need to do anyways so it’s not overhyped for me, but I just don’t think 5 year olds need a 40 oz cup.
I literally would die for a Stanley and I got one and it’s coming tomorrow. It comes with a lot of accessories that I need for it. I look for like one or two hours for a good Stanley I go through the reviews until I find the perfect one. that’s the reason why I don’t have any problems while buying any product on Amazon because I look carefully to make sure I don’t get scammed or anything like that And our recommend you to the same to look through the reviews and look carefully for the perfect one
It’s so interesting to see other perspectives, the weight and size I find perfect but I’m also 6’2” with pretty big hands. I love mine and especially how it fits in my car cupholder 🙌🏾
Ikr im a child and I’ve never drank more water in my life! 40-120 ounces a day and I’d drink more if I didn’t have to walk all the way downstairs every time I need a refill
the jets need a guard
damn you big af
Normally if the 30oz STANELY cup is big then get the 20oz.
Yeah I love the STANELY cup so much, but mine doesn’t have a side handle but it’s still so good
Turning everybody into the perfect Consoooomers
Guys if you think it's too tall lord heavy get the 30z or 20z there is really no difference it's just smaller I got the 30z and it's perfectly fine
Stop making dumb rumors about Stanley. They are amazing.
I just got a big sturdy water bottle for Christmas it doesn't fit in a cup holder but its job is to hold my water and it does the job extremely well I love it a lot just chose a bottle that doesn't spill water and holds a lot of water
My wife has one… I constantly drink it all & she makes me refill it. I wouldn’t carry it but do enjoy using it at home.
It also has traces of lead to give a good taste 😉
Late response but personally my Stanley is leak proof this just seems fake- they probably just didn’t close it good enough lmao and it’s really not that heavy and if it is that’s a good thing for ur arm🤷♀️
No you are actually so wrong , it’s just yours . Stanley’s are overhyped and they leak A LOT
@@Lucylovesminoins Stanley’s really aren’t overhyped there amazing like I said in this comment I bring mine everywhere and my arms so much better and I’m a lot more hydrated. Knowing that I have an amazing cup helps me to take care of it and a lot more stuff. I’ve started to talk many people into getting them. So, if I have to spend $35 on a cup that I’m going to use for a while then so be it.
@@Riley_123 That’s the thing YOU think that and every other Stanley obsessed brat/person
@@Lucylovesminoins yet I commented not pointing this out to YOU. I made this comment for the people who agree and like. If you disagree then keep your opinions in the comments that agree with you. NO NEED to comment on my comment that was not talking to you AT ALL.
@@Lucylovesminoinsdo you even have a Stanley?
I agree it’s definitely not worth it at all but I’ll still use mine.
Since the grip is on the side, it’s annoying because you’ll want to relax your arm while carrying it which will cause it to go at an angle and spill. With my bottle, it has just a grip on top so I can just hang it in my hand.
I think hydro flask is still the best but I'm gonna try this.. I have the Frank green too
I just got one from Home goods this week and love it!!!
I love mine!! It does leak but it ain’t supposed to be thrown around! But best item I’ve bought in a while😆
@@leonaroll6mine don’t leak for some reason great that it doesn’t but I don’t really get this 😂
If it's that heavy ya'll need to hit the gym more XD
that’s not the point, no waterbottle should be that heavy. It’s outrageous.
It's to bulky sweetie and it's honking huge.😳
@@kariizsqthat’s why they have the 30oz
WHAT IS stupid about the comments of everyone complaining about it being too tall, too big, too bulky and heavy is that they knew that when they picked it up and walked to register to pay for it. Can you say dumb and stupid at the same time. Why complain they have took it back.
That is why I got the flip straw Stanley 30oz. It is so practical and leak proof
I literally have the exact same thing, but for $12. With two sides on the lid. (Straw and those sip things [like the little hole that you drink out of and there is something that u can cover it by sliding the piece])
I honestly don’t care still love it 😊😊
SAME!!!!!!
As long as you not like oooo you like her I want what she has.🐒🐵🙈
Same, I feel like everyone is just saying that for the sake of this video I love the Stanely cup so much❤
didn’t that specific cup come out in like 2016?? I know the brand was out for a really long time but my mom has had a Stanley since 2020 and she doesn’t even know about the craze!
I wanted the 40 oz Iceflow but this is the only large capacity bottle that fits in a cup holder. The 30 oz Iceflow seems too small for me. I want to fill it up just twice a day not 3
I just saw the spills lol, but you can actually get a Stanley topper which makes the Stanley to stop leaking.
Women prefer it heavy as it forces them to do excercise plus they need to be hydraded its perfect but it should not leak in my oppinion
I prefer my Ozark Trail cups that cost about $12. They are leak proof, keep ice for a full 24 hours (I tested it against a Yeti on a 95 degree day in Michigan) and I don't have to worry if it falls over on my leather car seats. I'll save all that cash and buy a new Coach purse 😊
Ha !!!! Good on everything you just said!!!! Every flaw in the damn cup? Consumers deserve it all!
I mean i don’t really care if y’all think it’s not worth it I think it is and the Stanley is so FREAKING CUTE
Literally the second reason is why I will never get a Stanley. Idc how much those turkettes at work gobble about it by the hydration station. I'm too clumsy for a leaky lid
How much of that Stan mug is lead?
Large Arizona Tea Bottles leak less… Plus you can Pee into them while driving.
They also make it in smaller sizes and updated it so it doesn’t leak
“Resurge “😂😂😂
Me proceeding to see if it spills :
Dumps everywhere 😂😂
It’s bigger and it fits in my car. That’s all that matters
I have a tumbler for on the go but I think this is great to set at your desk or car or at home and it’s why I bought it for my sister who’s a stay at home mom of 4 and she loves it!
You have the fog lid, it’s meant to be heavy because it’s a literal medal tumblr, get the new ones, stop complaining about it
Guys just letting you know I’ve used a metal cup that’s the exact same thing and I left water in it and after a few days it was gross and warm but I tried it with a Stanley which was in a car in 100 degrees and it was still extremely cold and then after I left it out for a few days it was still freezing and also Stanley’s are rlly good quality even if they spill a little you can buy things that help with that and if it is to heavy y’all are weak💀-
5 reasons why the hydro flask is better
1. Leakproof, so you don’t have to worry as long as it’s closed.
2. Not heavy at all
3. Rarely grows mold
4. Cheaper
5. Shorter straw
Don’t care I am a proud owner of a Stanley cup and I do not regret making this investment.
Im still a kid but I can carry one of them around all day long and can never leave them alone 😅
It also has lead in the paint apparently and definitely lead in the bottom so dont buy Anything Stanley cup and your safe. Let’s make em go bankrupt.
I seriously care so little about these cups that my mom got me one for Christmas and I'm like whooo a black tumbler that I definitely won't use... in my head of course 😂But then I was like thanks mom with like a smile to be nice but I only just realized what it was like 2 weeks ago when my husband asked when did you buy one of these? I just started laughing...I'm definitely covering mine with tons of colorful & sparkly stickers because the last thing I want people to think is oh my God, she's one of THOSE.
My mom spent a lot of money on that stupid black Stanley cup. The least I can do is actually use it and if I'm going to be motivated to fill it with water & actually use it I have to make it my own❤
Lol I have a vintage trigger action Stanley and I'm gonna test if it's leak proof also
How do you get the types of quenchers like the adventure quencher, traveler quencher, etc
I feel like the 64oz/1.9l stanley legensary classic double xl is more worth it, even though it does not have accessories
I’m
Not tipping my drink over like a toddler in a high chair lmfao
ordering the eucalyptus coloured stanley, i don’t understand the hype either? i never rlly knew they were popular until now, i just wanted to get one bc my friend got one for christmas and she kept going on and on abt how much she loves it😂
edit: it’s coming tmr im excited:)
I bought the 20oz one so it is not that heavy :)
That thing is over, not overhyped. Lead.
I have a 46oz yeti and use a cup holder adapter for it and works for me son has all of them including Camel back Stanley and yeti and hydro flask wtc each has ur own uses .
I enjoy the 30oz better it’s liter and is smaller so maybe try that!
Yeah and if they don’t like that maybe 20oz?
@@simchatterjee3182 yea 20 oz is nice too because the handle is on the top and so you can easily carry it around that’s what my brother has just 30 oz with the handle on top
I absolutely love mine ❤
And you have to drink through a straw, so if you have TMJ dysfunction issues it’s a no go. The colours are cute though!!! I wish they would make more colours for their 20 oz!!
Wow, this video made me realize water is a important thing to waste
Honestly if anyone is having a problem with how big the 30oz STANELY cup is then get the 20oz.
Do a lead test
Mine is great 👍 doesn’t leak keeps me drinking cool water all day. I’m retired now but wish I had one when I was working construction.
I love my Reduce and Serengeti cups!
The promotional plastic water bottle that I have was $0 and it's lightweight and perfectly sealed 😅
It's the best as far as keeping Temps, durable, and is leak proof IF you close the lid and drink out of it like a man. Project farm just tested around 10 and it's the best overall. But for the price, there are others that will do the job.
What colour is the stanley cup in the video it looks like the cream or white please tell me if I'm right
Btw sentence I typed kinda rhymes
Why does the lid leak?
They have different sizes…
The Stanley trigger action is the best. Had it long before the hype and it still serves me till today
i dont mind the heavyness i get my workout in lolll
It’s good for ur muscles lol also ppl carry them around none stop being in love w them also not every cup is leak proof just be carful to not knock it over
It's doing that b course if you squeeze the both of the sides where you insert your straw and twist it will turn into a siping cup
again this is why I go with the yeti, it actually works the way it is supposed to
I have the Yeti Stanely cup it’s rlly good plus it doesn’t leak.❤
try to get a 30 oz have you tried that one?
Okay, but who’s just going to dump there Stanley upside down?
I love my Stanley. It’s pink and gold 🩷💛
What about hydro dipping the Stanley cup ❤
The shock I had when I found out it wasn’t leak proof, for all that money it could at least be leak proof
I have the smaller Stanley so it's not hard to carry and if you get the one with the flip up straw it doesn't spill
They have a few different sizes. Also I would not carry this around as a water bottle for sports or something this is something I would bring to school or just at home.
Do a hydro flask
Uhm….there is a 30oz and 20oz not just a forty ounce! And it never mentioned being leak proof but if you don’t like that there are seals you can buy!(No hate❤)
I mean they are pretty cups to drink out of and they fit in cup holders and the ice last for 1-2 days and I mean what I don’t like about what ppl do with Stanley’s is flip or tip them over like what’s the point of that they wouldn’t waste or spill if they didn’t flip them over
It's best for long car road trips and at wprk, it's perfect for my 12 hour shifts and stays at the desk. I don't think it was ever meant to be leak proof 😂
I have a 30 oz and it is
1. Not heavy
2. Lid leak proof (obviously not the straw)
3. A good color
4. Cheap
5. A newer version
6. Good grip with rubber
7. Harder to knock down
Negative
1. Can still leak from straw
2. A little top heavy
That’s literally what I just said😂
I’m thinking about getting one 🤞🏻
This is my Opinion and I fully get if you don't agree but the Stanley is my favorite cup because it has a ton of water in it 40 oz of water you can fit in inside of they're super cute they keep your water super cold and 4 lb washer it's heavy but it's good for you yeah sure it can spill but if you're not a klutz then you'll have no problem with the Stanley
WE GETTING LEAD POISONING WITH THIS ONE🗣️🔥🔥🔥
Where can I find it
