    I love my Stanley; I just had to add a boot on the bottom that helps keep it in the holder better and prevents it from getting scratched.

    Hydro flask has a straw that folds down! It’s heavy but the handle is easier to hold and carry because I just hook my finger on it. Also reduce makes a dupe and the handle is so much better! It’s also way more affordable

      @@kaitlingreco They also have a FreeSip water bottle that has a built-in straw that's hidden underneath the lid, as well as an mouth you can lift and drink from, which may satisfy your request for a straw that can be covered. I have one and I love it. ☺️

  • @HomeLifeWithLove

    The straw is a deal breaker for me. I have 2 Yeti cups. The appeal for me is the lid. I like how quiet it is to open and close, and the magnetic top is removable for easy cleaning. It doesn't keep stuff cold for a really long time. I put a frozen smoothie in it for church. At first it freezes up, but then it melts. It isn't super cold for hours. It does stay cool enough that I can keep it in my hot car while running errands and it won't get hot, but it doesn't stay cold either. The same goes for not staying hot for a long time. It doesn't take long for my hot coffee to be cooled down enough to drink. I think the clear plastic lids affect their ability to keep the temperatures stable. There's nothing insulating about the lids.

      Hi, just wanted to let you know that there are other Stanley’s if you are interested! I don’t think you’ll need it being that you have two yetis, but there are Stanley’s with metal lids with a foldable straw and ones that twist open just like the yeti! 😊

    I just ordered the Standley Target Terrazzo Pearlescent for 2 reasons: to see what hype is about and thinking it would be great this summer at the beach. I will say there are other bottles that will keep you drink icy cold for days. I have one, it was a gift.. I will say you do need multiple cups for different purposes. I have a water bottle that daily travel, it fit easy on the side of my backpack.. but it’s not insulated. Then I have my gifted bottle I love in the summer for walks travel because it keeps your drink cold cold. I don’t think we will ever get that one purpose bottle. I hate having to carry cups and what not… but it’s hard to find a coffee non drip.. well they just don’t last long. I have a Swell non drip but my coffee is cold by the time I get to work now. Anyway thanks for keeping it real. I hope to use my Standley for vacation or days or hot summer days I’m just relaxing/ off . Not gone travel with it I can see myself dropping it lol

  • @anon-mx4jx
    @anon-mx4jx Год назад

    There are so many bottles were you can flip the straw over so it’s closed completely shut and won’t leak at all. I personally love The coldest water bottle but pretty much every big insulated bottle company has these things, even Stanley. When I go to work I would never use an open cup like this, but when I am at home or I am running errands were I am in an out of the car all day and leave my cup in the cup holder I prefer a more open design. I don’t know why, it just feels comfortable to have the lose straw when I can. Also I use the flip straw bottles only for water and the regular straw bottles for flavoured drinks or milk drinks because I can change the straw when it gets stained or retains flavour.

  • @MirayaGupta-h8j

    If the straw is a deal breaker for you, don’t fret! On Amazon or many other places they sell these little lid type of things and there’s many cute ones that you can just equip on your Stanley and it’s super light so no worries about that, I’m getting a Stanley in October and I am hyped!

I have plenty of smaller options that maybe have to be refilled during the day but that might be easier for me to handle. At the end of the day, it’s more a status symbol than a superior water bottle.

    I woke up today to a mysterious package on my porch. I didnt think much of it, lots of mail going in and out for the holidays.
    Lo and behold, upon opening the box, what do I see? A FRIGGIN STANLEY CUP! I was in shock. I've never ordered a stanley in my life. I thought there must be a mistake, or I'm being pranked. After taking a deep breath and centering myself, I realized that it was a work gift.
    I never wanted to be in this cult, the cult chose me. It's insane how this cup has permeated every nook and cranny of our lives.

    Yo66're cmparison isn't accurate. The Stanley you havee is a 40 oz while your yeti looks like 30 oz plus that yeti won't fit in your car cup holder while the stanley does. Also the stanley base is sturdey and covered ehile the yeti's ss base is not (slippery). As well, the stanley is "tall and slim" and the yeti is "short and fat" (reason why iit won't ft in car cup holder.

    • @nicolelavoie3604
      @nicolelavoie3604 Год назад

      Oh, and you don't menton that the Stanley's cover also gives you the "sip" option without the straw. With the Yeti you needs another cover for the sip option. Honestly I really didn't see much comparison with the Yeti - I believe lack of familiarity with both is the problem. I have the 30 oz Stanley and a Yeti. Stanley, in my opinion and based on experience with both, Stanley is my top-rated one.

    IMO, the 'cons' you listed are personal cons. Not actual cons. The one con you missed is that if you have VERSION 1 of the bottle, it leaks (due to the straw hole). In version 2, they made the straw hole more like the spot of a cup from a fast food restaurant. Does VERSION 2 leak? Yes, but NOWHERE NEAR like its predecessor, again because they changed the straw hole.
    It is VERY hard to find this bottle, i think you were just lucky when it was in stock at the store you got it (as in they just got thier shipment).
    I don't understand that you say you're a germaphobe, yet you like a straw?? Try checking out the Camelbak Chute Mag Vacume Insulated Stainless Steel Water Bottle, or the Stanley Quick Flip Go Bottle, or the Stanley Iceflow Flip Straw Water Bottle.
    I'm worried about dirt/dust/germs going into my water/drink, so if I'm not drinking the liquid, MUST BE secured!!! LOL.
    Also, as far as I know, as of the date and time of this post, Stanley is the ONLY one that has a LIFETIME WARRANTY. Yeti, Thermos, ect at MAX have only a 5 year warranty. Camelbak does have a LIFETIME WARRANTY but only for manufacturers defects.
    For instance, Stanley claims it withstands a 4,000-foot drop. I used to climb radio towers. I dropped mine from 50 feet, and it died. Contacted Stanley, and they sent me a new one. I even was willing to take a refurbished one, but they sent me a new one (obviously I had to send pictures with a code next to the pictures of the thermos, but they did honor the warranty). I can't think of any other manufacturer that does that.
    Just my 2 cents for what it's worth. Keep up the videos, though, I did like hearing what bad things might being said. 😁
