This Koroyd technology has a 48% better crush rating than any traditional EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) helmet. Not to mention venting or breath-ability which is off the charts.

How hard is considered hard? Normal EPS will not be crushed under normal impact...

Not true. If a helmet is dropped (by itself, no head in it) the EPS will be fine. If a head is in it... or a watermelon, we shown significant crush to the EPS liner. The EPS can not take multiple impacts - and that is why a helmet needs to be thrown away after each significant crash. -- Kyle & the Chap Moto Team

Will this technological be used for on-road helmets too?

thats actually what you dont want. If the material does not give, energy isn't bled off. Just like the crumple zone in a care is designed to crush.

Basically it can only withstand One hard Impact. It does not spring back into shape. Once it's crushed it should not worn again.
How much is this Crash once through away helmet. ??

Thank you for your comment Dennis Millus. Every helmet currently on the market should be replaced after "One Hard Impact" as EPS does not bounce back either. All helmets are one and done. $649.99 is the current price. www.chapmoto.com/klim--f5-koroyd - Kyle & the Chap Moto Team
