Anyone playing control I would urge them not to listen to the song before playing. Experiencing it for the first time in that gameplay section is so special, and the song actually changes dynamically depending on your actions. It's so fucking cool man
No spoilers but that part of the game with this song is AMAZING! You will love it! I couldn't believe the experience the game makers had crafted. Utterly brilliant bit of game play!
It truly is an awesome song. I'm just sad you didn't get to unknowingly experience it in the game. For me the surprise added an extra to the scene's greatness and made it easily one of the best things I ever played.
this is gonna sound really dumb, but i've played alan wake, and control, heard the song, listened to other old gods of asgard stuff, know about the lore and even have saved to my spotify playlist. But I never read the lyrics out, and focused on them. didn't think of the lyrics at any point before today and just now realizing that the song is about the game. i'm an idiot lol
A year later, I finally get to the video I so hoped you'd do when you did My Dark Disquiet... talk about slow 😅 Anywho, I have tried and tried playing this game, but I suck at it and it scares the sh** out of me anyway, so I am so happy that you get through the lyrics and in a way explain parts of the game. Never reached the Motel btw 🙃 Always such a delight to watch you react to PotF, or rather Old Gods of Asgard in this case. Be well sir, and so late with this, welcome back 🥰
You can go into the accessibility options and make Jesse invulnerable to anything but falling, or make enemies one-shot kill. I found it was really enjoyable to play with the invincibility option. I could play without getting stressed out or angry about dying all the time.
Great to have you back! I know you're pretty well versed in POTF's catalogue but there are some lesser known songs from them that, if you haven't listened to, you may enjoy. Tobacco Road ruclips.net/video/pWeEcxXxB5A/видео.html Grinder's Blues ruclips.net/video/Ocqtd4SYo7M/видео.html

Remedy is amazing in everything they make.
Legit my favorite thing in any game I have ever experienced
and now we have an ALAN WAKE MUSICAL!
This song, in my opinion, is best experienced during the gameplay.
Old Gods Of Asgard/ Poets Of The Fall one of my favorites by them.
Best part of Control!

Welcome back! And what a song to return with!
