The newest Tears for Fears album is INCREDIBLE.
THE TIPPING POINT IS A MASTERPIECE
Yup sure is!
Yes!! Give us a reaction to this one Tipping Point! ❤
Absolutely, agree. Would love to see these guys react to Tipping point and No small thing especially!
Totally agree, just an incredible album.
This is Tears For Fears in name only. In reality it is a Roland Orzabal solo project, and is my favorite "TFF" album. Not a single bad song, not even an average one, amazing listen from beginning to end. Produced by the great Tim Palmer, it has a couple of masterpieces and "Break It Down Again" is arguably Roland's best song.
Since he writes all the songs he IS Tears for Fears.
Not a solo project. Tomcats screaming outside is his solo project.
Another great song from Tears for Fears "Break It Down Again"
Jay & Amber, you'll love their "Change" !!! More great early TFF!!!
Yes "Change" is the only really good song of there's they haven't listened too yet
@@cameroncopus9737 Suffer the Children.
Love Tears For Fears, amazing music and Roland Orzabal is a genius 👑
Break It Down Again is one of my favourite TFF songs for sure.
A Tears for Fears song I guarantee you’ll love is ‘Advice for the Young at Heart’ off of the ‘Seeds of Love’ 1989 album. Curt sings lead. Great world music sound to it. Kinda has a Spandau Ballet flavor.
My definite favorite. Thanks for mentioning it‼️
✌️😁❤️🎶🎶🎶🎶👍
@@drc1989 ..no worries! It’s pretty high on my TFF playlist.
So glad you chose this song, it's one of my TFF favorites! Another from this album, Mr. Pessimist is incredible. Elemental, Break It Down Again, Raoul and the Kings of Spain, Cold, The Working Hour are all incredible as well!
Tears For Fears' Break It Down Again is so good.
Curt Smith left in 1990 but returned in 2003 - Roland has the long hair, Curt has the short hair!
Their new stuff is just as good as their old songs
Depeche Mode live and in concert “never let me down again.” You’ll love it, guaranteed
You'll like their song, closest thing to heaven, from the early 2000s.
Even though it's missing Curt Smith, I still consider this album PEAK TFF! This song, "Break It Down Again", and "Elemental" (album title track) are all worth hearing!!
Their latest together is The Tipping Point. Interested to hear what Amber thinks of the Tipping Point.
I definitely didn’t have this reaction on my bingo card. I really like this song 😊
From their album Elemental. It also includes the song Break it Down Again. The great Gale Ann Dorsey takes over the bass chair. She was one of David Bowie favorite players.
If you haven’t heard it yet, give Break it Down Again another listen
Agree!
TFF is fantastic still. Check out their newest album, The Tipping Point, released in '22. They still sound incredible.
Agreed. It's brilliant...plus they should check out Mansun's "Wide Open Space" from 1996 which sounds like TFF
Roland continued to record under the name Tears for Fears. Curt recorded a solo album and had a band called Mayfield. To hear Curt’s solo material give Soul on Board if you can find it. Thankfully they mended and came back together in Everybody Loves a Happy Ending. Give it all a listen. So, so good.
This song is very well composed.
The guitar elements are perfect, Roland's voice is fantastic, I love this song, it gives you peace. Try listening to it driving in your car... It makes you travel far away, happy, satisfied, with a warm heart! I love it so much!
this is basically Roland Orzabal's solo stuff, Curt Smith wasn't involved in Tears for Fears during the 90s.
Amber you are correct about the band members being different. For this album , Elemental , and the next album , Raoul And The Kings Of Spain , Curt had left and didn't return till 2003's Everybody Loves A Happy Ending. This video had bassist Gail Ann Dorsey who is also a great singer. She was with TFF from 1993 - 1996. She toured with David Bowie from 1995 - 2004 and handled the Freddie Mercury vocal parts on Under Pressure live.
Thanks for pointing her out! She is a standout in this version of the group.
This track is a corker. Smooth, melodic, beautifully engineered. It is gorgeous.
Roland made some excellent music with Tears for Fears after Curt Smith left the band. This is a great song off the early 90's ELEMENTAL album, which is a fantastic album. Check out the song - "Elemental". Roland is a fantastic writer. While the band wasn't the same without Curt, Roland still found a lane and made some incredible music.
Very influential band.
I❤Tears for Fears.
Memories 😌. Thanks for this reaction. Tears for fears is so soothing. Yep, 80’s, 90’s was my era. 🙌🏽
Met Roland during this tour. Awesome!
THIS IS A TFF ALBUM WITH ROLAND BUT NOT CURT CALLED ELEMENTAL FROM '93. CHECK OUT BREAK IT DOWN AGAIN, ELEMENTAL, ADVICE FOR THE YOUNG AT HEART AND FAMOUS LAST WORDS.
"Everyone wants to rule the world" was my first song hearing Tears For Fears as a group, that song was on the radio like about every 30 minutes and it hooked me. LOL
This song is just awesome and so underrated. Thank you for reacting to this track. I wondered if this would ever make your list and I’m so happy that you gave it a chance. This album was a smash.
It's such a simple composition; performed by absolute musical geniuses. Roland's vocal is so good on this track. It just shines.
This was a huge transition album for "TFF" because The Seeds of Love album is one of the finest recordings ever made. After which, Roland and Kirt parted ways and Alan Griffiths became Roland's new writing partner. Elemental was a melancholy departure, almost presented as a goodbye letter to what Tears for Fears was.
My girlfriend and I listened to it when it first came out, on a road trip. We were both HUGE TFF fans and this was a very planned listening. By the time 'Goodnight Song' (the final track on the album) finished, we were taken with a bit of sadness, knowing something really special had come to an end.
I implore you to listen to ANY track off of Seeds of Love. Every track is sheer brilliance!
Lots of great suggestions, but I think you’ll love the “Working Hour”
Elemental by Tears For Fears is a great album, try these songs: Cold, Break It Down Again, Dog's a Best Friend's Dog, Fish Out Of Water.
The Boomtown Rats I Don't Like Mondays
This song and the related album was one of several that were done by Roland Orzabal on his own
Curt left in 1990 but returned in 2003
Yes it was basically a solo act from 1990 to 2003.
Roland did one other album without Curt as TFF , Rauol And The Kings Of Spain.
Check out Advice for the Young at Heart from their Seeds of Love album.
Tears for Fears truly elevated the genre of pop music when they arrived on the scene. They stood apart from their peers then and still do to this day. Just a fantastic song - even if this one was Roland Orzabal without Curt Smith. For a different vibe from this same album, definitely try "Break It Down Again."
Got to do their latest album "The Tipping point" (2022)
Flowing and Soaring very smoothly throughout this song. Beautiful!!! Fantastic! Great Choice & Reaction, You Guys! :)
“Nothing ever changes unless there’s some pain”
Tears For Fears - Mad World (Official Music Video)👍👍👍
Amazing song,, never thought I would see a reaction to this song
Fields of gold ! By celtic woman featuing Lisa Kelly . i guarantee you will love her voice and the stage at the castle . i promise 💖💖
One of my favourite groups, Roland who was the lead singer on this has such a great voice. For a great 90's song by them listen to 'Badman's song' which also features Oleta Adams-Colin Ward
“Woman in Chains” is another great song.
@@nigelturner3251 Yes, thanks, that is another great one , again with Oleta Adams
They've got so many great songs from different stages of their evolution. I love classics from their earliest album, the Hurting, like "Memories Fade", "Start of the Breakdown", and "Change". Advice for the Young at Heart". from their Seeds of Love album, is one that I'd also highly recommend too.
Don’t forget the song change. It’s amazing. See it
The Hurting album is great from start to finish. One of my favorite songs from that album is Start of the Breakdown.
Salute to the rob squad family, this is a good one, personnally myfavorite tears for fears is "advice for a young at heart". Thanks for your everyday video react.
Mad World is the one you're thinking of. That's my fav
You gotta hear the title track, Elemental. You will love it!
Agreed.
Good job to both of you. Try ''Change'' their first hit,an 80's classic!
"The Bad Man's Song," by Tears For Fears is a Masterpiece that you guys MUST react to! It is a Dope song. And react to the studio version from their "Sowing The Seeds" album.
That is Roland Orzabal. Kurt Smith is the bass player. He’s not in this video.
Gail Ann Dorsey replaced Kurt for this album.
Curt
@@RandomJane104 so it is lol
Amber this isn’t Kurt it’s Roland ,Kurt left in 90 but returned over ten years later.
This song closed the "Elemental" album, which was essentially a solo project by Roland Orzabal. There are some really good tunes on the album. This being one of them. The album after this, "Raoul and the Kings of Spain," was also basically a Roland project under the TFF name. One key song on that album brings back a welcome guest from a song y'all reviewed, "Woman In Chains," which featured a duet with the amazing Oleta Adams. Their duet here is called "Me and My Big Ideas," which is really pretty and worth a listen. And, Amber, I recommend a song from Oleta's solo career for your Female Fridays. The song is "Get Here." It is her biggest hit to date. There are some beautiful, soaring vocals to be found there. :)
Their newest song "The Tipping Point" is amazing
Love this song and group
Good song good reaction
This track has a distinctly Coldplay vibe (Speed of Sound). Check out TFF’s Advice for the Young at Heart…a fun, upbeat track.
Another great 90s TFF song is Elemental
"Sanctify Yourself" is a banger and probably my favorite from them.
Simple minds?
Simple Minds performed that one for the ‘85 album ‘Once Upon a Time’
That was Simple Minds !
@@Adam-bp7kw Right you are Adam. Usually get my bands right but you got me this time. Now I know why more people didn't ask for it!
Do next from them , these bangers songs : ''The working hour'', ''Change'' , ''Laid so low''(Tears roll down) , ''Raoul & the king of Spain'' , ''Advice for the young at heart'' , & ''Watch me bleed''
This outro is epic❤
Check out the song "Elemental" by Tears For Fears (Roland Orzabal solo album project of same name).
The Hooters "All You Zombies"
Or "Don't Take My Car Out Tonight".
This is one of their best songs. It's from the album Elemental. A brilliant album, albeit without Curt. It's so underrated. It's an emotional, melancholy, atmospheric song. Roland was dealing with the split from Curt. Great musicians playing on this song. That bass player is Gail Ann Dorsey, who plays with David Bowie quite a bit. She is a killer bass player, this whole band is on another level.
Here for the props to Gail Ann Dorsey. Hugely underrated player and singer.
Gail's a great singer as well. Check out David Bowie's A Reality Tour - Under Pressure. Gail handles Freddie Mercury's vocal parts and just slays it.
@@rogerdaly6326 Indeed she does. And her playing on "Ashes To Ashes" is phenomenal.
For me Mad World is the best one.
I Think The young people in the 80's discovered who they are and took the decisions to do in their live They want to have their freedom. A lot of people came out and it was the decade of aids. We saw uglynes and beautiful things too. Jay and Amber have you heard of the aids quilt?
Please, listen some tunes of their first album such as, Watch me bleed, Change, The Hurting or Suffer the children.
Sempre amei essa música e todo dia ouça
Roland is singing this and has long hair.
HAHAHAHA! I knew it! They think Roland is Curt! Hahahahaha! I seriously think they also think David Gilmour is Roger Waters, lololololol...
MAD WORLD
Me and my big ideas and woman in chains are another two of my all-time favorite tears for fears songs that you guys should check it out as well
They’ve done Woman in Chains.
A great TfF album from the Roland Orzabal solo time, though I do like the albums with Curt Smith best (the two are back together--check out "Break the Man"). Still, "Raoul and the Kings of Spain" and "Elemental" are excellent songs from the sans Curt Smith era!
"Advice for the young at heart" Cool song check it out Jay and Amber
Please react to the underrated SUFFER THE CHILDREN - it's an Upbeat and Life Affirming BANGER!
Love Tears For Fears forever but Everybody Wants To Rule The World and Shout are my favs
Head Over Heels for me.
❤ Tears for Fears ❤
from a time without curt
You guys need to listen to "Break the man" from the new album "The tipping point" by tears for fears, it's a new album from 2022!
Roland is a genius.
Moving Pictures "What About Me". Mid 80's
Nice! No one reacts to this great song. Now you have to do *Sowing The Seeds Of Love*
Big TFF fan here. My favorite song is Pale Shelter for future reference.
You should try 'Raoul and the Kings of Spain.'
Can’t go wrong with TFF
Yoo love the vids, I could make you thumbnails for really cheap, I think they holding you back, Lmk but keep it up either way 🔥
Mid Tempo. That's the term you want. It's not a fast song or a slow song. It just sits right in the pocket where you could dance fast or arm in arm.
NIGHT RANGER DON'T TELL ME YOU LOVE ME!!
Jordan. I think the song you were referring to when singer was looking out of the window was "Mad World".
SOUNDS OF *U2*🔥
Not officially Tears for Fears without Curt Smith.
awesome CD big fan u must listen to their new CD Tipping point will take u to a different level
“Change” is a fabulous song. A great intro. Have you done “Mad World? Their original version?
"Elemental" please 🥺❤️
Roland Orzabal was the singer in this, Curt Smith wasn't in this lineup. It's funny to me that Curt Smith is listed as lead singer for Tears For Fears because I grew up with this band and it was always Roland's vocals that stood out to me, and who I would have considered the lead singer.
looks like v bass playr in bowies band
It is her!
