This short comic was worth remaking.
If you talk to the melusine at the small waterfall in the melusine village she says...Paimon is connected with strings that go up in sky (to celestia). Melusines can see things other people can't.
Those walking rabbits saw the MC some kind lovecraftian monsters which might be true for their alien nature
Melusines also smart enough not to prod further

Paimon literally has time bending abilities, can fly, bypasses enemy attacks completely (I don't care if it's just her not being an actual entity in the world) and various other abilities. She may not be the true villain of the story but she is definitely as strong as them or maybe even stronger

Paimon's final look at the camera was very creepy and all, but, nothing will ever beat the stare HotV did at the end of the "Will of the herrscher" cutscene in HI3, it was truly the definition of "kneel to me or die for my amusement" type and it literally gave the chills to all who watched it back in the day🥶
I hope Paimon is never anything else than just a funny mascot, and has no secret identity and no relations to anything sinister, and any possible references to Celestia or demons are never brought up nor explained. Not everything needs an explanation.
That being said, I still love these jokes, damn funny video.

Believe it or not I don't think Paimon is the Unknown God or even a Villain to begin with like a lot seem to think.
I was always under the impression that she was (key word) a God of Celestia that maybe defied the order 500 years ago which is why she's on the same beach as us. Her fall from grace wiped her memory but she still maintains her cosmic cape, floating, and disappeaing ability naturally. Perhaps she's even the daughter of the Unknown God, but the same entity? Nah.

I believe the reason Paimon acts genuinely dumb is because she has been "Guobafied". A lot of Gods in Genshin lost their mental faculties once they shrunk into a smol beans after all (Nahida, Marchosius, Changseng)
