When buying a high mileage vehicle no matter the brand. If a vehicle costs $3000 to buy, have $6000 avail which includes the buy and other half of that $6000 goes towards maintenance costs. Once that it done you will have a brand new vehicle which then goes the distance. Mercedes ML350 and the ML550 are solid engines. Always do your fluid changes and flushes. Always change your fuel, oil and cabin filters. Your vehicles will last you easily 300k-500k miles. Always put money aside in a jar or separate bank account specifically for your vehicle maintenance funds. That way if a hose blows, radiator fails or even vacuum lines and valve cover gaskets. You will have the money to replace things immediately. I drive a Porsche Cayenne S for instance. I do my fluid maintenance changes and filters etc every 5-7k miles since almost new. Just recently my fuel pumps, fuel pressure regulator and vacuum lines and pump all went pretty much at the same time. But! I’ve always put a little bit of money away into my specific only maintenance fund jar ( banking account ) and was able to have those issues repaired with no stress. I’ve did save some of those repair cost funds by changing out the fuel pumps, regulator and filters myself. The one vacuum line I had to get a mechanic to do it as I didn’t have some of the qualifications to get at that job and felt a little uncomfortable doing it myself. But there’s still a great savings in that account that I can comfortably get into my first Mercedes. Which I’m really excited for.

Can we remove the ad blue system in the bluetec diesel?

On the DPF I call BS. The DPF (on the exhaust side of the system) is down stream from the turbo (on the intake side of the system) so there is no possibility of parts of the DPF to enter the turbo. Other than air the turbo only receives crankcase fumes and some exhaust through the EGR (also filtered) and upstream from the DPF.

      Thinking about a 250d or 350d?
      Fuel economy between the two?
      Thanks for the understanding.

ML is very solid. If you found a low mileage ML or GLE with good maintenance, without any accident. Just buy it.

That's some pretty bad language carbon-copy, Russian. Decent "copy"? High "resources"? "Twisted" mileage? That doesn't make sense in English.
Also, what's the point of doing a video in English and giving prices in worthless orc money? Those values are meaningless.

It’s a wonderful SUV to drive but really delicate. I have spent a ton of money on maintenance. I am so annoyed with Benz for looting people. Germans should learn a thing or two from Japanese. Just not happy!
