Mine is Euro Spec, i have a 2.0 Tdi Bluemotion SE .... just noticed where you have cup holders up front by the hand brake i also have cup holders but with a difference , i have a roller blind which slides over that area and inside i have a bottle opener which fits in between the cup holders and forms a divider, also with my car i have voice control over the Bluetooth headphone set and also voice control over the sound system, so you say 'Hello VW' and the car recognises your voice and from there you can control the radio, the CD player and the Sat Nav.
Actually, the antennas are in the rear logo except for the GPS. That is in the dash. I learned this when I had a reverse backup camera installed with NAV-TV parts that mimics VW-parts.
I do love the Eos aswell, the truck os not plastic, it is actually aluminium, if you look at the trunk closely you will see it is bodywork with internal reinforcement sheeting, glued and welded together in the body shop.
Freddy Medina I have a 2008 eos. I love it. You have to maintain the rubber seals to keep it from leaking. Mine leaked a little when I bought it. I used the VW roof gasket conditioner and it no longer leaks. It takes some work to clean and apply the conditioner but it's easy and worth it. About ever six months.
Freddy Medina . I have owned a VW Eos for two and a half years now ,I did have an issue with the car leaking but I bought the roof seal lubricant and spent half a day applying it to all the roof , luggage compartment and window/door seals. Result , no leaks for twelve month. I reapply every year just before winter sets in . No Problems. Hope this helps .
I've got the 2012 diesel and it's excellent. The only time the roof leaks, and if then, slightly, is in the brushless car wash with high power water blasters. It handles really well and seems well put together with quality materials. Having owned a soft top (Honda S800 - brilliant, and a 206CC) this is the quietest, most comfortable one by far. Not that the others were bad (they were very good), it's just that the Eos is better in almost every way, and you can even have 4 adults and luggage. These hard top convertibles are amazing and solve pretty much every issue there is owning a convertible and even the bluetooth is pretty good. I really must get around to trying the roof lubricant pack I bought.
I’ve got a BMW 120D convertible, the roof doesn’t leak and it rains in the UK so I’d know ;) by the way more room in the trunk/boot and it’s adjustable also to increase space with the roof up
true, nice car...i just sale my one, i am agree is beautiful thing that sunroof but until will broke....is gona be very very expressive to fix. i know it believe me( this is the reason i sale it) otherwise eos is one of the best cabrio for that money
I want this so bad but my dad definitely won’t let me get one cuz of tons of dumb reasons. Like I guess as a first car a convertible coupe isn’t a super great idea but uhhhh I still want 😂😂😂
One of my neighbors had an EOS about fifteen years ago. It was a cute car, but nothing but trouble for them. I test drove one but I hated everything about it.....it was uncomfortable, hard to see out of with the top up, the top was a problem waiting to happen, and all the controls were cheap plastic.
this is very helpful, especially your deep dive explanation about the convertible's features.
Thanks for the video! This is my next goal for a car.
8:20 "People from Germany are taller" LOL!

You didn't talk about the panoramic sunroof. I haven't seen any other car with a panoramic sunroof side from this one...

Do You still own yours?
I'm about to buy one but have read terrible reviews about the leaking roof? Can you attest to that?

The only shame is they didn't give it a V6 or 4Motion as the car really needs 4motion to keep it from having so much heft in the front.
there is a V6 version of the EOS
@@GeoCubedTV Yes but not the last gen, the first gen which has poor reliability.
