i was in love with a bounder in the 60s . i was 21 when this song came out . my name isj jane alias lady jane .. all these years on i still love the bloke ........ i wish ...the song says it all xx
Thanks very much Cassie. This one really is all Gitcover's doing. He painstakingly extracted Mick's vocals from a live performance bit by bit using audio editing software. After a huge amount of work he was able to cobble together the vocals for the whole song and we were then able to record the guitar and bass to complete a total collaboration cover. Have a great weekend - Ron
I love the song and love how all of you bring it together showing the 3 guitars. My only problem was it was a bit dark to see what chords were being played. But other than that it was well done. Thank you.
@plesy0 Thanks very much for the feedback and your support. Gitcover did a lot of work to extract Mick's vocals from a live performance using audio editing software. While it's always possible to get a custom backing tracks for missing instruments (e.g., non guitar or bass) it's often difficult to obtain vocals for songs that we wish to cover - so this was Gitcover's innovative solution. Thanks again for checking it out and have a great week - Ron
@xnimini Thanks dude! Gitcover is very talented and aside from recording all the guitar parts did an excellent job extracting Mick's vocals from a live performance using audio editing software - Ron
Thanks for viewing. I asked Gitcover about the tuning however it's been awhile so he's not sure although he thinks it may have been open G tuning. Hope that helps.
@Paul26348 Thanks Paul! Gitcover had already done a guitar only version of this song but wanted to redo it with vocals and bass. It was quite a coup for him to successfully extract Mick's vocals from a live recording. Have a good week dude - Ron
If you only want to combine 2 videos I believe many other software packages will enable you to do so. I use iMovie (Mac) to do this regularly and I know there are many PC versions that do as well. There are many tutorials on YT on doing PiP videos. Check them out and you may find that it's possible to do it using your software.
