I’ve lived in Canada for 5+ years. I visited india after 4 years and was surprised to find my friends and family happier in terms of social life and job satisfaction. In terms of income - there’s not much of a difference between India and Canada (I make 6 figures in Canada, but to be honest my friends in India making 18-25 lakhs are much better off). India is a growing economy and the startup culture has given rise to infinite opportunities in cities like Chennai, Bangalore and Mumbai. I wish to soon relocate to India and work as a consultant and serve my parents. Canada is not an alternative to the US. The US is a 10X economy compared to Canada and if you are hell bent on making good money - look at opportunities in the US, minus the potential for permanent residency. To sum it up, if you have ageing parents, a stable job with good potential and a great family think twice before moving to this cold country, you’ll end up doing much better in India rather than Canada.

In India the quality of life is not good. Food, Air and water quality is bad on account of pollution , adulteration and pesticides. Further one face hassles such as erratic gas , water and electric supplies. Corruption is rampant and affects every citizen and above all no social security. No Canadian citizen will die from hunger, malnutrition and absence of health care. Above all no body interferes in your life. One is free to live one's life according to his or her will.

@@sureshpandey6621 I don't know what part of india you are from. I lived in England for 42 years and always had good jobs. Now I had to come back for personal reasons. No water or electricity supply shortage where I am living and nobody interferes in my life. In big cities people are too busy minding their own business.
Yes there is corruption. Different countries have different problems. You have to live long enough in a country to know the country well. No country is perfect. Pandemic like covid didn't spare any country. What I miss most is the cleanliness. Apart from that as a retired person, I couldn't have a more comfortable life anywhere in the world. I do understand the problems the youngsters face in india and that's why they emigrate for a better life.
Anyway I wish you a very smooth comfortable life wherever you are living. Best wishes for the future.

@@sureshpandey6621 i remember how my relatives coming to India missed some vegetables and fruits that taste they never found in Canada in years. That's genetically modified and pesticide use in agriculture that they get big, attractive fruits and vegetables but not much nutrients. India no doubt has it's own problem but that's everywhere one kind or other. Living in own country is still have it's own advantages and India definitely have many. If you have good job, India is the best.

It's a good idea to clearly label videos with the language they are in, such as "Hindi" or "English", as many people may not speak Hindi. This can help ensure that viewers are able to understand the content and make an informed decision about whether or not to watch the video. Additionally, providing subtitles or closed captions in multiple languages can also help make the content more accessible to a wider audience.

That is true when it comes to relatives. My experience in Canada was horrible with Indians except for a few . They exploit their own but this guy is genuine.
I came back because of lack of job in my own field . Things can get brutal.
In a job of 95000 cad you take home 5570 but rent takes a huge chunk . Except for colder regions . Colder regions are all about staying at home but kills your social life . Indians have a very good tendency to be very racist , loamy landlady was a Hindu, extremely castist (she belonged to high caste ) , hated blacks and thought that new immigrants can be exploited as she thought of us like domestic help.
Indians are good at saving but this can go haywire.

Find the place to live before u go....think Alberta province is affordable to live compare to cities and other provinces ...Toronto and Vancouver expensive 1bhk or room goes to 1800cad or more monthly + net....all the best

Your life starts from scratch again ... keep that in mind. 7 yrs of indian experience may not be a weightage. work cultures are different in both countries. You seem to be at +/- 30 age, so If you have a home, no debts, good job, secured career, happy married life [if coupled]. you are better off in india.
At the same time, if you wish to completely switch to canada for your own wish and not to justify to relatives, you are not TOO OLD.
You may have 5 to 10 hard years upfront but if you are master of your subject, you will get an edge. Punjabi community is known for their zeal to put hard efforts. So decide accordingly. Hard working ppl are liked every where in the world.
