It’s been 4 years for me here and I honestly can say I have achieved nothing in my life yet. It scares me when I think I can’t return whatever my parents had invested in me. The fact is you’ll never have a good paying job in Canada being an immigrant. When I say this trust me I mean it. Most you’ll get is a minimum wage job which can make you survive the life here. Taxes are high definitely and what I feel is you’re working to make someone else’s life easier.
(P.S: people who’ve stayed in Canada will understand who I’m implying to)
No one wants to be your freind, scope of socializing is zero coz mostly it’s cold round the year so everyone hardly come out, especially in Northern provinces like Yukon, Saskatchewan, Manitoba.
You’re a lone survivor who’ll always keep fighting.
The only person who can make money here is businesses and high paid jobs which are reserved to Canadians. That’s how Canada’s job market is. Canadians’ first and if there’s something left they’ll look at you. By the amount of money people invest here they can establish a nice business back in their country itself and earn accordingly on own terms.
Most importantly you’ll cut yourself from all emotional supports like family, freinds etc.
I was social person back in India who liked making new freinds and memories but it’s nothing like that here.
And it’s the same life, no different.
You wake up, dress, eat, go to work, come back, eat, sleep. No different.
No fun and nothing. You actually don’t live in present, you live in an expectation of a better tommorow.
You’ll always have a smile when you greet someone but I guarantee you no one’s gonna check on you to if you don’t start a conversation even with a simple “Hi”. Mostly Canadians are nice but again some will systematically judge you and say nothing but you’ll see in their actions, the way they’ll talk in a twisted way etc.
Yes I’m not saying that Canada’s bad or it’s no good but trust me it will take forever to build a life here especially with the number of people moving here from round the world.
If you’re well off financially from back home Canada’s a paradise for you. Indeed it’s a beautiful country with lots of beauty and lots to explore but remember everything comes with a cost here. Everything comes with a cost. People need to stop believing in this fake illusion and come only if they got a purpose here. The only reason why they’ll let you in the country is for money and once you’re in you’ll have to keep spending, doesn’t matter if you’re broke or whatever you have to.
Once I earn I’ll happily give up my PR status and go back to India as i very well know what the situation is how it’s gonna be in future.
So just one piece of advise to every middle class person like me, guys please invest and spend your money wisely coz we know how hard it is to earn and it’s high time Canadians start appreciating what immigrants like us do for them by burning ourselves day and night and start realizing that their past generation once came from some other part of the world as well and settled here. Being white doesn’t make you a nice Canadian, you’re actions defines you more than your words.
90% of this country is built by immigrants and that’s how it’s gonna develop in future, so if they keep treating us the same way good luck to them 🙂.
Also a plus note to anyone thinking that Asians (mostly Indians and Filipinos) are stealing your jobs, go get outside and have the balls to face them and take it away from them. Staying home and ranting and abusing us that we’re taking your opportunities and blah blah isn’t gonna work. We are so successful round the world because we are hardworking, honest and respectful to everyone. Even if we’re earning minimum and barely surviving here we always make sure we’re not burden on the government or anyone else and won’t keep crying.
A big shoutout to all you guys who came here in the hope of a better future but are still struggling.
Keep hustling and you’ll reach there, if not step down and go back and start your life again on your home soil. There’s no shame in experimenting continuously rather than sitting ideally and crying about future.
All the very best my people and lots of love to you ❤️‍🔥🇮🇳❤️‍🔥

Sir, its my first time I have watched your video and honestly I have so so much of myths regarding canada this and that but I really gets alot of information through this video of yours please make videos on supply chain management course and job perspectives after the course or please make a video on which province is cheaper for international students for living and grocery point of view or which province is good for part time jobs in canada. Please do such kind of videos because your content is way way better than hundreds of canadian youtubers who are misleading or not showing the true sides of canada. Please please make a video on which province is best for international students regarding jobs, rents and grocery perspective keep doing the great work sir love you. 🙌🙌🙌🙌

Probably, I'm the only Pakistani here who's gonna share personal experience with all my Indian bros. I came here almost 16 years ago with my family. In first place, I never wanted to leave Pakistan as we were living luxury life there. Once you have money and servants, there is no place in the world better than India and Pakistan. Trust me. Well, long story short, I came here and started our life from scratch. I did all kinda jobs from the warehouse to Uber, and you name it. Completed studies here got citizenship landed first bank job but every single thing is very very much artificial. That's the main difference. Here atvyour work if someone talks to you gently never ever think he/she likes you and have good intentions about you no a big NO. Canadians are way more hypocritical compared to Americans. At least if they don't like you, they can tell straight to your face. But here, the situation is the opposite. In the second job market, this guy is saying the job market is very fertile, I don't know which part of the country he is talking about. If the job market had been good, none of our desi bhai would have been interested in getting a truck license. Third weather: It's terrible and yes good only a couple of times in every season. Like this year, winters aren't that harsh as compared to the last year. In summer, if it's hot and humid the next day, you'll get rain all day and won't be able to go out. 🙃. The job market is very competitive as compared to the US. In the US, you can get a job easily in any field with limited experience, but here, you don't know why they want someone to have a Phd. even for a customer service job. I don't know why employers are setting bars so high to everyone. I.e I was applying an IT co op after my degree in the job description they wanted me to have 3 to 4 years of experience with couple of certifications then I can apply.....I mean why the hell one apply for a co op or internship who has that much experience and certifications? They don't care about my university degree. Instead, they need globally recognized certifications does it make any sense? It means they shouldn't trust their universities and education system because they need some other globally recognized piece of shit. Then if luckily, you have all of the above requirements and applied, then go and check on LinkedIn. You'd probably be the 120th candidate for that internship, huh. In the US and Australia, the situation is different, honestly. Now come to the housing market, which was going sky high like there is no tomorrow now govt. Intervened and crashed the market by increasing interest rates. That was the only market in Canada. Which is also draining. They have closed their oil field and laid off 10000 employees. Why? Just because Daddy USA said you don't need to extract your own oil. Canada can't even breathe without US permission. It's a nice country to live in if you are lucky enough who got a nice reliable job or have a doctors degree. Even for accounts payable and recieveable jobs, they want someone who is working towards his CA or CPA. Why would one apply for an initial $20 /hour job. They are setting bars wayyyy too high, and no one is here for the proper check n balance. Another interesting thing, yes, is LAW AND ORDER. It's shit I swear it's shit. Police have very limited resources. One of Otalian contractor I hired for the concrete pavement and ge gave me the estimate of 11k and asked $4000 advace that guy did some jobs in my neighbourhood so he buit some kind of trust well I paid 4 grand as an advance then he gone no response nothin after 3 months I reported to police and put his information on social media that guy came back to me and said your defaming me so I'll take legal action. Then I went to the police they said we can't do anything you need to go to the court I went to the court then court said we can't do nothing because that guy has nothing on his name. I provided all the money transactions, his messages, and all the proofs they said we can't do anything. So this is one of the example. There are many more. One good thing is 911 call if anything happens they come within 5 minutes if hospitalization is needed they'll take you there and will put you in emergency for at least 10 hours if something is not life threatening. You'll be on hospital mercy. Canada is good for citizenship, and some businesses. If you really wanna go somewhere there are many more places on earth. I'd love to move to Australia in a pulse.

Have you lived in Australia? Your experience in Canada mirrors mine in Australia. Most jobs in Australia are casual in which you're not sure if you'll have a wage next week. Your experience with the legal system reminds me of my friend's in Australia. Infact the police officer with a bored face was discouraging her from filing a complaint listing all cons😂 Graduating with a distinction does not guarantee a job there. One thing I realize is that western countries look good on the media until you actually live there. Considering all experiences from friends and families all over the world, the US is still the best 💯

I am in Canada. Let me tell you one thing. Ppl who come with unrealistic expectations and expect to drive expensive cars , live be big houses right after landing in Canada are the ones cribbing and whining on social media. If you are coming to Canada (OR any country for that matter), there will be a struggle period. If you pass the period with hard work and positive attitude and learn through your journey, you succeed. Also, I agree that Canada needs to up their standards to filter immigrants as it has gone down in the past few years. Hence increase in this negativity.

Hi..It was a great video. However, I am coming to Canada this December and I have joined some groups for accommodation, but the problem is like people post rental ads according to the community.
For example, some people specify that they have room available for a Punjabi or Gujarati girl or boy which clearly shows discrimination.
They should respect everyone n treat every Indian as same.

All the things u said about good bad etc of Canada can be applied in India too and be succesful. Any country that is sparsely populated like Canada will be attractive to an Indian coming from a over populated country. I have travelled to many parts of the world - in the end concluded no country compares to India in terms of civilizational past, culture, tradition, opportunities, relationships, warmth, climate, celebrations, festivities, cuisine, ethnic diversity, etc etc etc. I had plenty of opportunities to live, work abroad. But I chose to stay back from every count. My education was in govt institutions and they have been the best. I owe to my teachers, colleagues, friends, neighbor's, opportunities, environment to where I am today. Jai Bharat. Vande Mataram.

Delhi ya Northern States mein yeh hota hoga you address people as Gora, Kala, Kancha etc. But I haven't seen this in many parts of other places in India. Indians actually live a lot peaceful lives than Canadian counterparts and this statement of mine was ratified by a Canadian National. I have met many Canadians being a Darjeeling resident and most of them agree India is a better country to live in terms of social culture and friendliness.

Been three years here, can relate to all these that you're saying. Yes although seasons vary, alag alag provinces me alag samay par start Hota Hai har Ek season. My honest opinion - I love the place, towards Toronto it's getting more crowded and safety issues are arising. But being based right besides Toronto, I am still very happy. Second thing - about grades, in Canada all that matters is just a minimum degree and lot of experience. So people try to do lot of freelancing while studying. More experience means more salary in jobs and easy hiring. Grades tabhi kaam aate Hai jab AAP academia ya phir ekdam theoretical se field mein ho. But yahaan practical jobs mein grades kyaa kuchh b nai dekhte Hai. Bas experience dekhte Hai. Portfolio hona chaie kuchh batane ko. Fresher ho to b thoda hona chaie kuchh khud se. For example, for marketing aspirants thoda Upwork fiver Mein Kiya hua freelancing ya store jobs mein b marketing section me volunteering ya kuchh to.

Even in big cities in India, people are finding it difficult to make friends . Because everyone gets busy after college. And many Indians consider moving abroad as an achievement. That is why they compare themselves with other Indians who are abroad and judge them. It's all because of the hustle culture. I find Americans and other western country people to be more humble than rich people of India and those who have migrated to a developed country. They behave strangely because they consider fellow Indians who have just migrated as low class and themselves as superior.
