I moved from Ontario to Alberta but other than houses, I find everything more expensive. Government services which were mostly free in Ontario are very expensive in Alberta. I found Alberta to be good for private businesses.
usually people prefer ON over AB but AB can give you more possibly of immigrate, I think as long as the income can cover my daily expense I love to live in nature ish environment than urban city vibe with less chances of PR for newcomers
