I wish they'd do way more of the Jesse Stone short movies.... just love them... interesting relationship with the dog and Jesse Stone.... interesting dialogue's in the show... Love it
A friend of mine went into debt for cancer treatments for his 12 year old dog. Then he came to the rescue of an abused female pit bull. I never, ever thought that I would be face to face with a pit bull, let alone playing nudge face with one. but this dog is all sweetness.
I can relate to this song so much. I owned a golden retriever when I was younger and I loved that dog so much. He died in 2002, and to this day I still shed tears for him!
Although Reggie is thought to be Jesse’s first dog, he wasn’t. In the Prequel, Stone came to Paradise with a Bloodhound named Boomer. Jesse really never owned a dog after Boomer. Boomer was “put down” at the end of the prequel because of kidney failure. The other two were kind of “mutual adoption.” Reggie was the first adoption and when he died, Stone took a dog named Steve, when the owner was killed. Reggie did have the longest dog character on the series.
The dialogue is: Took so long to acknowledge a connection admit there was a bond. Life plays tricks on ya. Hope you enjoyed the video and thanks for watching.
That’s because Reggie had the same personality as Jesse. Reggie wouldn’t sleep on the bed until Jesse was asleep, and Jesse thought Reggie was aloof. Jesse realized after Reggie died, that, being similar in personality, they had a bond. My opinion...

"What are you looking at?" A friend.
Thank you Anne I think if you love animals then we all understand this connection and how painful this loss can be
I totally agree. Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for watching.
You are so right! I wish animals could live as long as humans. Thanks for the video...
Rod ham Glad you enjoyed it Rod. Reggie was an awesome dog and made the show even better. I think Steve will be a great addition.

Can't make out what Selleck's character's last phrase is at the grave site, after "yet there was a bond."
