My name is Andrea, and I'm desperately trying to lose weight. I'm vlogging my journey from fat to thin, lol. I'm documenting all the successes, failures, trials, tribulations & everything in-between, and today's vlog is a weigh update.

Hello, you are doing amazingly and I am sure you know this and don’t want to hear it but a 2 lbs loss is great, it really is better at 2lb a week in the long run.
Keep going, stay strong and I know you will get there.

You are doing so well Andrea. It is frustrating when others are hitting the big numbers, but sometimes I think the body goes through a sort of shock for a couple of weeks. I bet you'll go back to the big numbers again soon. I bet they have weeks where they don't lose as much, but tend to talk about the big numbers more loudly. Stick with it and keep up the good work. I completely get you with wanting more. Im on week 3 now of 1:1 and lost 15lbs so far. week 1:-8, week 2: -4 and today -3. I wanted 4lbs off but have to look at the big picture. I wouldnt have lost that without 1:1 so have to remind myself of that. You are doing great x

“I don’t have a choice.”
Yes you do. I don’t understand the desperation to lose the weight this quickly.
I’m a big fan of you, Andrea, but I’m not a fan of this diet. Any diet that puts your body into starvation mode is going to mess you up physically and mentally. Do you really want to do another 3+ months of this?
With the same amount of discipline that you’re showing by following this diet you could follow SW, WW or simply calorie count and lose the same amount of weight healthily and far more enjoyably - and absolutely no one would blame you for changing your mind.
That said, I’ll still be cheering you on whatever you do 😘
Thanks so much - and you're so right 👍🏻 It is one of the reasons I have stepped up and introduced more calories. And it has totally paid off - mentally, physically, emotionally and on the scales.
I think I have just been so desperate to lose the weight fast because I have been on/off this journey for the past 10yrs and never got to target. I had tried every diet under the sun - and failed. And while the determination was there, I was just running with the most extreme to get the best results fast. I didn't want the determination to dwindle away and lose it again like I had done every single time in the past. And seeing the numbers come away, spurred me on.
However, it's not anywhere near as extreme now as it was in the beginning of starting as I've stepped up a few times now already. And it isn't forever. Thanks so much for the sensible words and unwavering support. I genuinely appreciate it so much ❤️😘 x

I agree with very think you say, you work so hard and you think I am going to lose 4or5 pounds and 1or2 pounds comes off I do hope you have a fantastic week keep smiling 😊

Omg hun you look amazing Andrea, maybe think about a little more physical exercise, the wii fit yoga is really good for light exercise and it relaxes you, only takes between 30/60 mins, depending how you feel and how much time you have, three times a week .XXXXXX ❤❤XXXXXX
Need a wii for though first ma, ha ha ha. But I'm keeping active with walking etc 😘 xxx
It's not healthy losing 6lb week 😊 nhs say 1-2lb a week is a healthy weight to lose ❤ you doing great ❤

I do think you are expecting too much 1to 2 pounds is great,I got to goal doing that. Lost 5 stone, to be honest with you I think you are loosing more money buying Cambridge meals . This is not a way off life when you stop that what will happen then. I just do slimmingworld . X
Thank you - I know what you mean. To be fair, I've only ever bought one month of what I needed. Then a top up on choccy bars. But because I've stepped up so much, I don't have many of the products a day. So the ones I do have will see me through to target. And once they're gone, I won't be buying anymore as I'll keep stepping up to maintenance. It has defo helped with me being able to eat a lot, for a small amount of calories. So has taught me that, that'll I take into maintenance with me 😊
I do love SW, and can see me doing that as well as watching my calories for maintenance for sure. I love the group setting, the food/meals and especially the support ❤️

I'm currently doing 1:1 but following SW principles and counting my calories, lol. A bit of everything, lol xx
