Gonna give this a go I think.. I have been making your BIR currys now for a couple of years and I havent had to buy a takeaway since. Yes its a lot of work but it well worth it. People are always asking when they can come round next for a curry. Reminds me I only have a couple of batches of base gravy left... Im gonna have to buy some onions :D Your book is very helpful too by the way..

What happened to the promised ingredients list chaps?
That's a little strange. I have never cooked Rezala with dairy. I like to call it Tikka Masalas full bodied sister and instead opt for a red sauce made up of ketchup, mango chutney and lemon juice.
Must give it a go like this. Cheers
Audio is a bit tough with all the sizzling!
This doesn't make much sense to me. It's basically a base gravy curry or quite similar to butter chicken. Recipe's for rezala I've seen contain ground cashew and white poppy seeds. I know that BIR style is often different from traditional but I would think a curry like a korma but made with cashew and white poppy instead of almond and coconut would be a more interesting addition to BIR curries. A similar but alternative for those who tend to stick to korma.
