Hey Lowko, I’ve been meaning to drop a comment for a while - I don’t actually play StarCraft 2 (or any video/PC games for that matter) but I’ve been watching your videos for years now. They’re so entertaining and I just watch them to switch off from work and relax. Thank you!!
If you go to his main page and click on oldest vids he did do some good guides back in the day. I agree though. Newer tutorials with the newer meta would be nice.
Lowko is more focused on Casting pro (and not pro) games rather than making tutorials, if that's what you are looking for you should give a try to PiG (search PiG ''You race'' Bronze to GM) or also Harstem with his series IODIS where he explains a lot of things :)
The problem is that you are asking him to dedicate at least a few hours to a project that will get significantly less viewership that risks his algorithms and decreasing the amount of people his videos actually reach.
@IcariumGaming Idk the guy likes his community and a video like that would help alot of people and maybe gets some new people, also he still makes PVP videos he's been ok posting lower viewed videos if they are good ones, heck he could live stream himself going over the basics for what you would need as a viewer
14:14 - 14:34 I like how the Zerg supply drops steadily slow while the Protoss army is slowly building up its force from small different forces coming in just right on time cutting off the retreating Zerg army. Almost felt like watching a movie 😮
Thanks for making starcraft accessible to a noob like me. I'm french canadian, not the best english speaker, but I can understand everything you say :)
That's the cheesiest start I've ever seen, and I'm loving it. If Her0 had been doing similar thing with other races he wouldn't hsve to try nearly as hard as he did here.
Probes do quite decent damage so Idk if he could finished it, he needed to send over slightly more zerglings but if he had he could have blocked and destroyed the pylons from the other side and won
Probably didn't expect the game to go the way it did It was a pretty good trade Hero lost out on a few probes and lots of mining time No one could have foreseen the amazing play hero would pull after
Spoiler: its refreshing seeing hero be a hybrid of turtle/aggression. He's getting really good and being patient and wearing his opponent down. GO HERO!!
I still think a no repair series. You'd actually have to make a base with multiple fallback spots that you'll consistently get pushed back to, it would make horde nights an actual challenge until you get to a base like this one but you could also not use traps or limit their use
In game 1 herO should have kept building Tempests and kept pushing them. That or built more void rays more aggressively. If he had done either, I think that match would have ended much sooner in his favor.
Hero is the only player that looks like playing like a low elo but wins a lot I dont understand, he usually make massive blunders but never feels behind Can someone explain me why? This player is good and has results but I'm genuinely lost to understand why A pro protoss that doenst wall properly usually dies instanly against Z but not him Etc Explain x)
I haven't watched a lot of heros games, nor a lot of sc2 in the last couple of years, but in this series hero was basically defending the entire time, never moving away from chokes and solar attacked inefficiently (no nydus in protoss main or anything, always going for chokes). Think of a boxer defending his face time and time again until the opponent gets tired (read no ressources) and then once he did that and reached his desired tech (3/3/3, carriers, mothership and a boatload of storms) then and only then he went out to attack in full force.
Protoss is so OP lol!!! Just try stopping 8 stalkers at 5 minutes in with Terran. 5 minutes is pretty intense to deal with 8 stalkers with any race imo, but Protoss seems tough.
Protoss is so mobile if you use them right. The best hit and run race. If you make the mothership you get two recalls. Both defense or one and one. Like just make gateways as a buffer at every base and when you need to defend just recall your peeps. Kill a base defend a base. Warp back and kill the reinforcements with the mothership. How nobody does this or the fact the best players in the game are not protoss baffle me. Stonger units are better for smaller hit squads.
As fun as this was to watch, this was not a Tournament-level performance from hero. Too many mistakes, and he repeated them over and over, especially in game 3. Not rebuilding the wall in his natural, building the cybernetics core out in the open and almost losing it while upgrading, not clearing creep because he refused to build observers, repeatedly throwing the Mothership to it's death. He powered through purely with his APM.

@@jakehart4448 welcome to the club brotha!
Oh this is interesting, have you played any pc games or any strategy games before?
Agree. I stopped playing SC2 over 10 years ago but I really enjoy watching these
The tempest is a unit I love to see, taking those 3 points shots from downtown
Siege weapons ♥️
24:30 Archon: Dancing in the Storm is the metal album we never knew we needed until Lowko cast this game ^_^
31:50 her0 : "I reject your hypothesis"
Does anyone else love when the music decrescendos right after a battle ends and the macro begins? Lol
Hey would you ever consider doing a video going over the basics like you did at the e sports world cup? I think it would be good for alot of people

A basics for each race would be awesome! Would love to see that
I love to see the mixed army from the protoss, with both sky ang ground. It really seems to make the tempests powerful as a positional tool
Those dark templar going in after the tempest sniped the overseer in game 1 is genius.
14:14 - 14:34 I like how the Zerg supply drops steadily slow while the Protoss army is slowly building up its force from small different forces coming in just right on time cutting off the retreating Zerg army. Almost felt like watching a movie 😮
always love a good tempest rush
Thanks
cant wait to try this in my bronze games
Oh so NOW it's actual strategy that won the game and not being broken.
Anyway, nice games, love the video together with the commentary!
That was the best mixed unit composition army I have ever seen from protoss.
Thanks for the video, Lowko. Appreciate the excellent content as always. ❤
the starcraft show when you see it with lowko it hits different, bruh your voice makes me happy dunno why
Just came by to say I really enjoy the videos still. I watch them like everyday.
Thanks for making starcraft accessible to a noob like me. I'm french canadian, not the best english speaker, but I can understand everything you say :)
Would love to see an offensive recall of void and tempest.
Lowko, u are the best SC2 dude! thank you :)
That's the cheesiest start I've ever seen, and I'm loving it. If Her0 had been doing similar thing with other races he wouldn't hsve to try nearly as hard as he did here.
solar needs to use his banelings like serral, where he wobbles them around the enemy units and let them tank damage a little before dealing damage
i wish they had leaned more into the cloak tech and shields for protoss. Like some form of cloak hardening or more protoss units had basic cloaking
Those "Hero immortals" definitely had guts in game 2. Just decimated the zerg ground around them.
great games! great series!
What would have happened if the zerglings had just continued to attack the pilon instead of turning back and attacking the probes at 1:49?
Probes do quite decent damage so Idk if he could finished it, he needed to send over slightly more zerglings but if he had he could have blocked and destroyed the pylons from the other side and won
Yeah I really wonder why he didn't commit to attacking the pylon.
Probably didn't expect the game to go the way it did
It was a pretty good trade
Hero lost out on a few probes and lots of mining time
No one could have foreseen the amazing play hero would pull after
@@PMARC14 ? He couldn't have sent more because that's all the larva he had, the rush gets weaker if he waits for more larva.
Loved this series!!!! Wish they changed void ray to be playable. .. like maybe it had a self destruct aoe blast to counter mass clumped air units
Oh wow, that's a mechanism we should see a LOT more of!! VERY COOL idea!!
thank you lowko you are making my coding sessions enjoyable
another great cast by Freddie Lowkury
Spoiler:
its refreshing seeing hero be a hybrid of turtle/aggression. He's getting really good and being patient and wearing his opponent down. GO HERO!!
Awesome dude!
"FInal nail in the coffin" is the idiom you are looking for.
Sorry Lowkow, but I'll NEVER get tired of NASTY ZERG BUG DEATHS hahahaha
I still think a no repair series. You'd actually have to make a base with multiple fallback spots that you'll consistently get pushed back to, it would make horde nights an actual challenge until you get to a base like this one but you could also not use traps or limit their use
On and off the court straight fundamentals
I always watch Lowko's Starcraft II x2 speed. I wish RUclips add x3 speed
At loooong last Lowko has finally fallen foe hEro❤
I thought It was MaxPax video. I'll settle with Her0 😑
i'm pretty sure tempest priorityse air unit, so in the first game they where killing a lot of overseer, that opened the way for the DTs.
Hero managing to defend in game 1 while being 30-40 supply down was Beautiful. Sometimes Tech > mass :p
SHPOILER SHIELDER
In international tournament Hero seen to be the best Korean at least in the last two one.
Yo, what are the odds you could make a updated Protoss build order? Can’t seem to find one anywhere lol
I know these "New rush" or "New strategy" titles are clickbait. But I don't care, I love my SC2 casters ❣️
This is top cover photo😂
Isn't maxpax the #1 protoss?
I would have preferred Hydras over roaches and ravagers since there was no Collossi on the field in game 1.
FIRSDT
ETA: Im keeping the typo
In game 1 herO should have kept building Tempests and kept pushing them. That or built more void rays more aggressively. If he had done either, I think that match would have ended much sooner in his favor.
*loading into my games*
hmmmuke umumumuumumumke
protoss doenst need build orders just batteries and units
Hero is the only player that looks like playing like a low elo but wins a lot
I dont understand, he usually make massive blunders but never feels behind
Can someone explain me why?
This player is good and has results but I'm genuinely lost to understand why
A pro protoss that doenst wall properly usually dies instanly against Z but not him
Etc
Explain x)
because if you're getting constantly hit in the face, its hard to concentrate on doing effective counter attacks with zergling run-bys lol
I haven't watched a lot of heros games, nor a lot of sc2 in the last couple of years, but in this series hero was basically defending the entire time, never moving away from chokes and solar attacked inefficiently (no nydus in protoss main or anything, always going for chokes). Is it normal that i went to silver 3 to diamond 3 with only 4 games ??
Hello everyone, his name is Lowko.
nice
Lowko if this video gets 1000 likes I'll like your next video, if it doesn't, I will like your next video
"The Swarm is powerful
But the Immortals on the ground
Are still around"
- loved that accidental rap god actually 😂🖤
Protoss is so OP lol!!! Just try stopping 8 stalkers at 5 minutes in with Terran. 5 minutes is pretty intense to deal with 8 stalkers with any race imo, but Protoss seems tough.
Lets just yoink that tempest... aaaand now its over here 😐

Mamma, UwU?
#1 is maxpax tho
#1 human protoss
!
That first game... It took SO MUCH for such a small advantage for Her0 to win. So glad I quit this game after seeing shit like this
😶🌫️
Not first
Definitely first :)
