Groovy snare drum @Drum Talk. I like that dark maple wooden color. What do you look for in the differences in your snares sounds ? Cheers !

Hi! Thanks for your nice comments! I I do have about 6 snares in my collection, tho I think this is my last one, I don't mean to collect to many. I only have pearl drums, so I just looked for different drums by the company, to try.. so, i have a steel snare, a pearl masters, and pearl session snare, both middle level snares in wood. And then 2 piccolo snares.. steel and wood. So this way I can try different models and switch with different drum kits.

Got one in the brass. Great auxiliary snare, nice pop to it! And didn't cost an arm and leg.

13 seems like a good idea, less leg spread and more portable same with the piccolo, and I usually like the more funky snap of a piccolo anyways.. I'm looking into getting a Peavey Radial Pro kit though, but will try to see if I can get the 13" snare or maybe get the kit without the snare, and get a different one, as the snare is a different design and concept from the rest of the Radial drums.

That would be great. Matter of fact, Dave Abbruzzese from Pearl jam played a 12 inch snare. And 13 inch hats. I may have been a 12 x 7
