This is it. The final challenger of the 1 Player mode if you play on Very Hard or Super Hard mode is Mewtwo! The hardest match in the game. Remember that you have a better chance to beat him if you pressure him with combos and chains cause if he does it first your as good as finished. If you lose you have to take on Gary again in order to take on Mewtwo again so give it everything you've got!
That's it for 1 player mode but stick around cause im not done with Pokemon Puzzle League yet. Tomorrow i'll upload another enjoyable game mode.

Honestly what I hate more about this fight is how if you lose you have to do the Gary fight before Mewtwo.
I end up losing, like, 10 times to Gary before getting a single shot at Mewtwo only to lose and then the cycle repeats over and over again. It's bullshit.
If Ash defeats Leon in the Masters 8 this summer, this is exactly how I’d write it: immediately after Ash wins, he’s spirited away by Mewtwo to an unfamiliar space where’s its just the kid and the genetic clone, similar to this game, in a 6-on-1 battle to see if Ash can really be a Pokémon Master.
If we can’t involve Ash and Mewtwo in a Giovanni-lead world-ending climax arc in Journeys this’d be the next best thing.

pro tip: start your chain off with a 4-block combo and as mentioned above, a 9x (maybe more) is about where you want to end it.
the 4-combo garbage block throws off the CPU thus leading to that quick win.
also, while I'm here, I might as well chip in another pro tip.
Note how Mewtwo double-slides at the 1 minute 15 second mark (game time, not video time) with the hearts and water. This trick can be accomplished by sliding your finger off the B-button and onto the A-button (or vice-versa) quickly, while the cursor moves the lone water quickly to connect to the other waters.

In every videogame, Mewtwo has much higher stats than Mew. Even in the movie and the anime, Mewtwo is stated to be stronger than Mew. It's literally the reason Mewtwo was created in the first place
Not that Mew is 'weak' of course, but feats-wise, there is no comparison. Mewtwo pwns
