- Full build step by step of Italeri's 1/72 scale AS-332 Super Puma in Brazilian Navy markings. Completed for the Whirlybirds Group Build hosted by @BGsModelWorkshop. I made plenty of mistakes on this kit but I learned a lot and had fun building my first helicopter. A big thanks to BG's Model Workshop for allowing me to participate and encouraging me to start a channel back when I completed a 1/32 scale Ford Coupe for his Small Scale Car group build.

The molded in cockpit detail is really nice!! Basing the copter in black is a great idea!! This is one of the best builds i have ever seen! very professional looking!! Love it!! Thanks again for joining the build!

Very nice build ut it's almost like a weird paradox it's too clean and perfect to have the look of realism in the real world.
I'm sorry to hear the finish is not to your liking. Most of my reference photos showed only minor weathering on these aircraft, but I will strive to do a better job on it next time at your suggestion. Thanks for your feedback.

Thank you. Still a lot to learn. Since building this model it's done decently well in each contest it's been in, although helicopters are usually a sparse category. So maybe it's a bit better than I gave it credit for at the time.

Thank you. Most of the reference photos I had showed the Brazilian Navy keeps them fairly clean, so I did not want to over weather.

super pumas Brazil don't have front radome. Yor model is superb!!!
The model cannot be superb with such an error. I followed the instructions and Italeri led me wrong. It is an unfortunate mistake I have made by attaching it.

I know it may be a stupid question but why do some modelers wear these gloves does it have anything to do with keep the parts clean
I can't speak for other modelers, but I wear them when recording because I have very bad fingers and nails. I prefer to avoid all of the inevitable comments about how distracting it would be, even if the gloves make working on the model very challenging at times.
