    What are your thoughts on the endgame in POE2? What's one thing you agree with me on and one thing you don't?

      It's mostly mapping and kinda boring yeah.
      What hit me hard is how mind numbingly easy it is. There is zero challenge except an important roll here and there. Im a 80 stormweaver, kinda random cold/crit, no build guide. I've switched stuff the get a single minion because I got a little bored, so not optimal build at all.
      I love the game as well, best ARPG since D2 for me, but it have this problem where the difficulty is all backwards - very hard at the start, pretty hard when cruel starts, then very very easy at endgame.
      Should definitely be the other way around

      It's an early access game that has been out for under a month, and that has less than half of what it's content will be on full release. I cannot understand the expectations one may have to make a nearly 20 minute video about this.

      Not a criticism, purely informative: If you’re generating T3 Waystones purely through buying them from Doriyani, you aren’t understanding the crafting methods to generate sustainable Waypoint generation. Google “PoE2 Waypoint Sustain.” Plenty of guides out there on it.
      In addition, competent use of the trade site shouldn’t take more than 10 min to receive what you’re looking for.

    My kid loves soccer.
    Imagine this: every time he playes a match and misses a goal attempt I immediately bench him ánd take away his ball for a week.
    When he complains I just tell him to get good.
    How much longer do you think my kid will want to play soccer?

      Its a beta and the game is incomplete. Yall didn't play path 1. Endgame will be great when it's finished. But will also change and grow over time.

    The end game is really awful, in my opinion. You have to trade to get good gear because crafting isn't viable without an absurd amount of materials, which never drop, and that feels bad. I hate that I have to rely on other people for good stuff because I can't reliably craft it on my own. Even with good gear + resistances + high hp and energy shield, you are still likely to die and lose everything, and for me it's just no fun.
    The rest of the game was fantastic, and I really enjoyed playing through the campaign and fighting the bosses and playing around with the passive skill tree. All of that content feels really good, but once you hit the end game the whole feeling changes and I'm just not a fan.

    I think the endgame content design in PoE2 centres far too heavily around "one shot or be one shot" as the sole medium of difficulty instead of creating interesting mechanics. We have all of these abilities but most builds rely entirely on 2 or 3 buttons which makes the game feel surprisingly shallow given how many options we have.

      Its been a problem with POE for a decade and they still haven't fixed it. Many games have background safeguards to cap incoming spike damage, or prevent 1 shots. They need to implement some of those and tone down the damage in general.

      Same issue I ran into POE1 and it's the same here. I get killed by unknown projectile that's hard to see. Even worse you lose the map in 1 death...

    poe2 endgame is punishing for the sake of being punishing. when the punishments outweigh the rewards you have a problem. I wont be playing anymore because the endgame is atrocious. 4 hours of gameplay erased because a boss explodes on me after i killed it because there was no que of an explosion. XD

      @@benicholson22 hopefully. but what i meant was that i wont be playing anymore of the early access until they fix a lot of the issues. way to punishing for the amount of bugs, off screen deaths, deaths to server lag random fps drops. too many issues to count right now. so imma wait till they push out full release to play again.

    I can wholeheartedly say playing ARPG store manager simulator isn’t fun. I can see the value in trading when you are trying to get those last few stats on min-maxing your build. But good gear, gear that brings your build online. That should come from playing the game, not from farming currency to then trade with someone. It, for me, takes the fun out of playing a looting game.

      100%. They want loot to be random and not deterministic, and yet you have the exact opposite of that philosophy with a trade site existing. Let trading stay, but make crafting better. I think when you use any currency orb it should give you TWO choices for the affix it manipulates/gives you and you get to choose which one you want. Give us currency to make simple swaps to better suite our gear, like "swap elemental damage to one of your choice". I think that would go a LONG way at getting more people crafting and using their own gear that they found and made themselves.
      Even as someone who uses trade, I would LOVE to craft way more, its just too random, frustrating, and wasteful of my time and currency ATM. Its so much more satisfying to use your own gear that you found and built. I don't understand why they design it this way.

      Ngl that’s a y’all problem. Many games that feature a trading market comes down to a certain item being traded for the gear. If you want non trades either ignore it and grind your way up or go play something else tbh

      @@ArtIsLifeninty i been getting more on the lucky side, I don't have that issue, I do focus alot of loot base builds in the start (probably why I don't struggle) every build i do will have at least 60% rare item drop rate increase.
      But I can easily see this problem with newer less knowing players.
      Also alot of people just walk over like 60% of maybe good loot I pick up everything and check the rolls..

      @@marcc869 The ROI in farming an area for the hopes of good gear to drop also doesn’t feel good. Vendors only sock up on every lvl. with diminishing returns on XP gains for farming an area you'll hit a wall eventually. My comment is feedback on the current state. There needs to be a way to better craft your gear into gear that can work for you or meaningful drops from elite and boss enemies.
      Cause you're right, I don’t have to trade. But when the game is about min-maxing and feeling like a God. You're not playing it right if you're skipping out on trading for the 'answer' your build needs.
      When the obvious answer is trading that's a problem in my opinion. That is how the game feels at the moment, you feel like you need to trade or else you're just not playing your build. Because a lot of the power is in the items more than your skill tree.

    The level of death punishment is my biggest problem with the endgame. I'm fine with some death punishment to push you to be better. But the biggest annoyance is when I die to some BS, go back to the node and the map boss, expedition and all the fun node events are gone. Feels terrible I don't want to even retry that node.

      @@funnystranger3380 It's just not fun. The Trials need massive overhaul. Traps in ARPGs are inherently unfun and ruthless for no reason. Having to do 10 rounds of BS stacked on BS is excessive for a rehashed mechanic from POE 1 leagues, just to level your class.

      Also the xp from 70+ seems waaaaay too low. And then to lose that xp on death when random attacks one shot you just feels like totally bs and not fun. I literally quit the game about 5-6 hours into end game. It’s just not fun

    i am so glad that people like you are actually being honest about this game.
    The fan girl dick riding from hard core POE cultists is stupid. They just wont admit that the endgame is bad. They just say "skill issue" anytime they dont have a real argument.
    The game overall is AWESOME. and i love that its difficult. But its way too punishing, to the point where it just completely discourages even trying again. Losing XP and access to a map after failing is a joke. Starting over is fine. Enemies being dangerous and hard to kill is fine. Wasting an hour of time and telling me to go fuck myself because i lost is NOT fine.
    The game has the potential to be an absolute masterpiece, but during the EA period we need to give real feedback, and not just yell "skill issue" at anyone who offers feedback.

      Almost every poe content creator has giving feedback and called ggg out on alot of things. They just aren't doom posting because they have played poe for years and trust the devs. And alot of the time it is a skill issue. It can be a very complicated game. It took me years off and on to get into it. Its just EA, give your feedback and let ggg cook.

      @@doakesanddrax No one should trust GGG. They did nothing to help POE 1. And the POE community is terrible. They just attack anyone who says anything negative about the game.
      A lot of creators are being honest, which is refreshing. This game has a real chance to succeed. They have made a few decent steps in the right direction, but they have been half measures because they are still trying to toe the line between a super insane hard-core game that's not actually enjoyable, and a rewarding but difficulty game.
      They have time to fix it still.

    Kinda?! It's awful! This was the reason we had to play the first 3 acts twice, so the game could be released with a "robust endgame," according to Jonathan. When are people going to stop the cope and the glaze?! The game SUCKS! It's an absolute slog of ungainly combat. The crafting is gamba. Trading is necessary. The loot is terrible. Remember, "D4 bad" was started by the PoE community bc D4 launched with bad loot and a shallow/repetitive endgame. READ THAT AGAIN!!!!!

      The best part is, if you have to rely on trading, then you're at a roadblock for the first few weeks of a league until gear starts to appear on the trade site at inflated prices.

      @@JacobBalser Actually its a great take. What he is saying is 100% fact. People will always gravitate to what streamers do. Take POE1 for example, some streamer comes up with some build using some crappy unique(s) and then within a few hours that unique is now selling from 100 times more than it was before the streamer released the build. This has been happening for years in POE1 and will continue into POE2. And all classes are completely viable in the game. All classes will have their strengths and weaknesses. Some builds will better at certain content while weaker at others.

    Too many unfun death punishments, one try on events and bosses is just awful. You also have boring nodes if you fail, just feels like a complete waste of time

      Just quit over this. You also lose loot if you die to a stupid delayed after death explosion btw. When they fix their terrible design choices I will come back but for now they need to fix the terrible unfun BS in the game.

    Just started Cruel. If the end game is completely insufferable to me I'll just try a new class while they refine it. I'm still going to be playing the game regardless.

      It is 100% more fun creating new characters and redoing the campaign lol. End game needs more time to cook. Early end game is a drag. Late end game is fun.

    Hating the XP loss per death and you die alot. I love the game and I'm level 71 but the end game is making me want to stop playing because the XP loss is taking away progress feeling. Hopefully they nerf it or take it out completely other than that the end game is mehh ok

    Honestly, the POE two endgame feels like it’s a residual leftover for when this was just a campaign expansion for path of exile one. But honestly, the biggest mark against the endgame is that the campaign drags on for so long and it’s so tedious it really kills how tedious and drag out the game is. They heard the complaint of the campaign is a glorified pat tutorial from the first game and made it even more padded tutorial.

      I think that could easily be fixed by reducing the size of some of the maps. They’re absolutely insane, considering the pace of movement/gameplay.

    The sad thing is that GGG is making this game for players like Zizzaran, Quin69, Wudijo and so on. It is like their own little game world where the casuals and "normal" gamers do not fit. Its like a exclusive little club for leet kids who stream non stop and that is also destroying the game, a normal gamer wont even come close to the gear and builds they are doing to totaly conquer the game and it gives a false view of the game.

    If they don’t modernize trading or make it so crafting your own gear is actually possible this game will be dead. Loot drops are terrible, you get maybe 1 exalted orb every 4-5 hours of game play. I was level 70 using lvl 29 gear because I literally couldn’t craft anything better for such a long time. I was able to buy a few items when they were trading for exalted but now it’s all Divines, which I’ve never even come across. Also it’s SO SHIT that to sell items you have to be online and stay attentive. I was afk for 15mins and lost 2 sales. What kind of bullshit is that? It’s 2025, every other game has better trade than this.
    These are some of the issues that if not addressed the game will die

    Your review is spot on nice job. Three things that would make this game 10/10
    1. Put a in game AH so can sell buy in game and not on some website… it’s 2025….
    2. Change the 1 death in end game…. Would recommend using up 3-4 map portals on death so your limited to 1 death per run.
    3. Allow better drop rate on map tablet…… I currently have 5 towers cleared but no tablets to put on the towers been a few days since i got one dropped…

    i absolutely love how anyone about to be honest about poe has to spend 5 minutes lying to themselves about how they're having so much fun and the game is only in early access and they really do love the game lmfao. looking at this game as a live service that will call upon the player base to come back, multiple times a year for different league starts, this game has MASSIVE issues. there is just no way that everybody suddenly loves how ggg doubled down on all of the complaints from poe1. tired of running the campaign again and again? heres a longer one. tired of archnem mobs? we got rid of map bosses and replaced them with archnem mobs. dont like running labs? we'll make you miss em. ggg simply doesn't understand the line between fun yet hard, and a punishing waste of my time that makes me wish i was still at work.

    Totally agree on the weird design of the trials and honour system. Forcing everyone into a particular gameplay style kind of defeats the point of build crafting. Neutering entire gameplay styles does feels very strange.
    My first thought on getting through trial of sekhemas as a witch was ‘damn this would suck as a tank’

      @JacobBalser yes it is tru yes trials are harder for tanks. But all classes have up and down. I built a melee witch build doing t10 endgame. Built glass Cannons build heavy tank build that literally can't get 1 tap and put out good dps..

    I want chase items from set bosses. Thats 1 thing Diablo 4 got right. Does not feel good feeling behind because someone spent more money to gear up outside of the game.

    I agree completely, I die probably 1 out of 4 endgame runs (and around 3/4 if I stack modifiers) and it's just disheartening... I bought a bunch of good gear, got a great build, and I'm not bad with it, but you get nuked so damn easily and there's just nothing you can do about it.

    The engame is too much "all or nothing". Either you one shot everything and gain little or you get oneshot and lose EVERYTHING. Especially worse for melee. They really need to remove punishments, nobody enjoys being punished. Some people (the sweaty tryhards) confuse punishment with difficulty. Most enjoy difficulty and challenge, they do not mind dying and retrying hundreds of times if need be, they do not enjoy being PUNISHED and being set back for failing, that just makes people quit or just copy what works from popular guides, no room for experimentation. They also need to tone done down all damage, both for players, but especially for enemies and leave some room for defensive options and surviability, not just nuke vs nuke.

    This type of endgame may have been seen as great in 2012 when up until that point there were a small handful of games like Diablo 2 out there but in 2024 it feels outdated and boring. Mapping in its current state is a slog and even if you're progressing fine you'll inevitably hit this point where the sustain of maps runs out and you have to resort to going back to way lower tiers which don't really do much for you. The drops aren't as good, the xp doesn't even exist by this point, you run the risk of having to do maps with mechanics like breach on a much lower tier which feels awful and the entire thing is a big waste of time. Waystones shouldn't even exist anymore. Just let the player choose the tiers they've unlocked and use orbs to enhance them before they enter it.
    Beyond that though, POE2 completely abandons the whole slower pacing and methodical play it sets up with the campaign once you get to the endgame that it's jarring. Once you reach maps, it becomes a much worse version of POE1 in its gameplay and stresses repeating the same mistakes they wanted to avoid for the sequel to begin with. If your build can't one shot a screen full of mobs in a blink, it's trash because eventually the scaling makes it so the mobs one shot you.
    The fanboys don't want to hear it but the truth is POE2 in its current state is not in a good place at all. The excuse of early access can only carry you so far before you realize this game has been in development for at least five years and many of these decisions were greenlit to begin with.

    Major issue that I am seeing in endgame that not many are talking about. I am a deadeye ranger and I can solo T1 maps no problem. I join my friend (Titan Warrior) and the mobs are scaled up for two people. The scaling is so high that I will get 1 shot in T1 maps in co-op, the same map I can solo. The gear drops don't appear to scale so they raise the damage and health of mobs and drop the same crap gear so I am not scaling in strength by trying to push through the much harder co-op. After I am one shot, my friend lives and continues the map without me (because there is no rez in maps) and I sit in town thinking why even bother with the co-op? I am not rewarded for doing something that is harder, so I can do it solo which is easy and get the same drops. I literally can start a T1 solo while my friend finishes the one we started and be done before him. Then, the Atlas map is not shared, meaning the host has to choose the map and the other person can't see the Atlas, they are just along for the ride unable to give a suggestion on the next move cause they can't see the host Atlas. Not to mention the progress in Atlas map is only going to the host. So playing the endgame with friends really sucks and actively pushes you away from it. If your goal is to push maps it's far easier and rewarding to do it by yourself, making introducing a friend a liability to your experience.

    I totally agree with you, I was addicted while going through the campaign and once I got to endgame I absolutely rage quit after dying so many times that I basically wasted half of my maps and ended up with none left for the tier I was at. I had to go back 3 tiers and pray for relevant drops.
    Accompanied by me picking a super underpowered ascendancy.
    Punished in all aspects, feels really bad. If you don't pick a broken meta build + class you're not having fun. I also went for blood mage like you did as it appealed to me as a concept without looking for the best builds.
    I will not be playing the game until they either rework my ascendancy, change the importance of rarity stat or rework mapping in some way. I don't feel lile playing a character for another 100 hours just to get to the same point.

    the xp loss on death, the map sustain, the one shots... these are all things from poe 1 that kind of have become part of the core identity of the game. i dont expect GGG to change them. the only thing ive found insufferable about the endgame so far after 100hrs in maps is that i lose all my portals on death... that definitely needs to change. map sustain is solvable if you know how to build your tree and roll your waystones. my sorc is tanky enough that i hardly die unless i seriously mess up so im not worried about losing xp. i wont say its a skill issue but it may just be a knowledge issue. PoE is not a game thats going to hold your hand and pander to you if you mess up. the game might simply just be not for you and theres nothing wrong with that. good luck and happy holidays

    I only real issue I've found is it resets ALL your progress as a new player. The veteran POE1 players already know to make clear the screen builds that transition straight into the endgame. New POE2 players are going be in for a rude awakening when they realize all that methodical si gameplay is going be pushed aside for EMERGENCY screen clears. Because you're either going get stunned locked or just die outright.

    You are 100% correct. In the campaign it felt like we were fighting boss after boss back to back and the endgame maps is just the worst part of the campaign played over and over again. Large maps with trash mobs. I don't mind having to do some of the that but at least make the maps smaller and quicker to do!

    I think what they probably end up doing is to integrate the campaign bosses into the Atlas, otherwise it would be a shame to have them one and done as well as the boss fighting is really missing and it is down to just killing mobs.
    About the Waystones, I don’t know, you can also get lower tier ones dropped and upgrade those instead of buying. And I think from what I understand you are also not forced to go to the next tier if you don’t feel comfortable. Then maybe the Atlas progression is on hold, but you still get xp, gold and other drops … and hopefully have fun just striving through a Map and killing things.

      the leveling is fine to me, at least through act 1-3, so i dont have much to say about the endgame yet, but upgrades should feel rare and leveling should be earned

    right, campaing was good, but mapping is boring repeating, often difficult due to unbalanced difficulty and not much rewarding.. Im stuck in loop and will soon quit.. Some people complained about boring d4 endgame.. this is same, mabe with future content will be better.. hope so. And trading is joke, no auctionhouse, trading on web, game chat.. This is probably not possible with a new game, as the auction house also has old WoW or the mobile game Diablo Immortal to a limited extent.

    Finally got to endgame after slowly playing bit by bit thru cruel because this game is boring af. And when I get to the endgame, I got bored after doing a few maps because just what is the whole point? Same as what others have said, item drops are crap, crafting is crap and the only way to get better gear is to trade for it. Got a pretty good build that can handle content ok but its so damn boring. Now that I've reached endgame, there is no purpose left other than wait for Diablo 4 season 7 and hope they don't muck it up. Any POE cultists who want to hurl insults, go ahead, doesn't change the fact that POE2 sucks. Doesn't matter if its EA, you would've thought they had experience with POE1 and seeing how D4 has evolved to not make the same mistakes.

    reached t10 maps and exit.endgame atlas is too blend and boring.extremly big maps with no boss or rewarding mechanics.also look of atlas is confusing and there is no way to find the best route to go.
    gearing is extremely hard with low crafting currency drops like essences, alchemy orbs, annulment orbs, or the lack of orbs like alterations and scouring makes it near impossible to craft the gear that you need.
    the only way to craft in mid-game is to find a base and exalt it with the hope to give it the mod you want and if it doesn't there is no way to fix it.
    vendor gears are mostly suck and their reset method is not good for end game.timer reset would work much better.
    the only way to gear up rn is to play blend maps and find exalt or divine orbs then buy extremely expensive gear.
    overall I enjoyed the game and will get back in a month or two after some updates.

    Completely agree with your points. I loved the campaign & the progression, it felt really well paced. But the end game does become rather stagnant after a while. Do devine orbs even drop? I've not seen one & I've managed to grind to level 80. The trading is painful & that shouldn't be the best way to progress at later levels, the crafting should be less RNG biased but hopefully ggg will make the changes on the full release l.

    The start of Maps is a little rough. Way Stones are a bit too rare at the start. I think because they did the Cruel mode the balancing does not prepare you for Maps. You can get through the Acts without worrying too much about your defenses. I say this to say - the transition needs to be smoother so that it is not taking so much time to go through each map.
    I am a huge fan of the one way stone one death mechanic. Not because I'm elitist or because I have so much time on my hands. I've been working 60 hour weeks since the game came out. I like it because in POE 1 you got 6 portals & it was used as a layer of defense. This leads to balancing the game around it. I also just feel it cheapens the experience to some extent.
    I do believe they will change this as it is a huge sticking point with many. My hope is that they find a middle ground between 6 portals & 1 death. But I would like an Atlas Passive tree node that allows us to use the 1 death per way stone system for some loot buff or double way stone drops, something like that.

    In the poe 1 endgame you would lose xp, and most people enjoyed that aspect cause the whole point of poe is to make a build that can survive and do damage. i do think the endgame is a bit lackluster like you do but it will get better with time. wait for coming updates and the leagues when they get introduced. will make the game a lot more enjoyable with time

      People "like" losing XP because they think it's some awesome hardcore feature when it has always been a shit mechanic that wastes your time. This doesn't matter if you're a NEET who collects disability every month or a streamer but to normal human beings I can't think of a faster way to make them quit than to take their map, take their xp, and take their time and toss them into the garbage. There's no way to recoup these losses like in a Souls game or even D2 which had the same xp loss mechanic but let you regain a big chunk of the loss back if you got to your corpse. It's trash.

    I think endgame always feels less and less exciting because you're literally playing after the runtime of the game. Just play a single player game multiple times and you'll have the same feeling. Even if it's perfectly suited to you as a player, eventually you just want to interact with something new. In The First Descendant I've played for 769 hours. The brilliant thing about that game is there are no paywalls for playable content so the new stuff is very approachable and really anything you want to do will help you do something later. It's still a wonderfully fun and diverse game given so many 'subclasses' with Descendants and their modules and then weapon combos and component builds and even reactors. The boss battles are solo capable and require different builds which adds so much incentive. The more I like a character the more I enjoy chasing new customizations for them, and you still get immersed into this military lifestyle with sci-fi fun and easy access to story replays. Normal mode public missions are starting to become a little pointless but they do provide a much more relaxed and welcoming environment where every single build can do just fine. They just need to allow random matchmaking into public events if they will still be needed for campaign progression. You simply can't do hard mode until you finish every mission on normal (if I'm not mistaken you can't go with a normal mode party member into hard mode content). I hope they just unify the difficulty curve for public Battlefield missions and keep the playlist content divided into difficulties. But yeah be ready to walk away if all you do is log in to get stuff and then log out. You're basically not playing a game if that's the entire loop. If you own it and hate using it because you hate playing that content, then yeah you're wasting time.

    Bloodmage DD is 1 shotting pinnacle bosses on highest tiers. One of the strongest builds in the game.
    Endgame is all about the dopamine hits. And if all you’re doing is playing the next tier of map right after it drops and you die then you probably need to just spend more time building your character and its defenses before advancing to the next tier and then you can just plug in another map.

    Man i agree with everything you had said. 80 titan warrior and i stopped playing for all these problems. Who wants to play an ARPG and to find gear from trading ? I am with the same weapon from lvl 33 , garbage loot , i don't want to play trade or crafting , there are better games for this. Optimization sucks , lost 1 level from fps drops and stuttering . Finally everyone was talking about the slow "soul like" game experience , campaign is perfect and then you have a diablo lile end game that you have to clear a map with 1 button and 1 million mobs.
    Thx for the video though , i hope they will change these things cause these were my best 200 hours of gaming for the last 5 years
    P.S. In my 42' married with 2 kids , so i totally get the " I just want to play inside the game" feeling

    In poe1, the penalty for dying was always a point of contention. We don't play softcore to be punished for dying. In poe2, they made things 100x worse. I don't get it.

    My favorite part about this game are the bosses, enemy variety, and ability to use more than just 5 or 6 skills. Way more build diversity if you want it but not forced. Still ofc the "meta" builds which there always will be.
    The loot, inventory, end game, crafting system, etc. all feel like tedious shit. Never played POE1 so hoping all the glazing over that game carries over to the actual release of POE2.

    Part of the problem is your thinking. Not everyone is meant to get to lvl 100. Ive never once got a character to 100.
    I have a feeling they will bring back 6 portal defense. Failing a map on 1 death just feels bad.

    I think when most people say the term skill issue for POE, they are mostly referring to a knowledge issue. POE is a very complicated game and there is no hand holding in this game like we are use to from todays games. I have 2500 hours in POE1 and I still do not know all there is to know about that game. Also this is early access and things will get changed and updated, buff and nerfed, etc. This is GGG, not Bungie, let them cook.

    i love this game up until endgame then it comes to a halt and the reward vs time equation doesn’t equal anything of value to me. excited for them to keep cooking with the game but after 180 hours i’ll move on to something else for a while.

    I completely agree. The campaign walkthrough was super. The endgame is just awful. The trading system is worse than in games from the early 2000s. Items are overloaded with stats, which also have their own tier. As a result, it is unrealistic to drop something suitable, the only way is to buy, but I already said about the trading system. Oneshots. In the end, my friend and I tried the endgame for 2 days and both deleted the game. Totally disappointing.

    Leveling is the biggest highlight for me so far, cool, difficult and interesting bosses with meaningful mechanics in an ARPG is hard to find. POE2 nailed it, but if it ends up becoming POE 1 skill spam fiesta then the game will get boring real quick. Even if I do enjoy having some OP 1-2 abilities.

    Im at Lvl 90, did all trials, clear T15 maps and i totally agree. The game feels incredable good in the campagne but when its come to the endgame, its rly boring.
    There are some Uber Bosses that needs an insane amount of time to even get there... The mapping system and also the amount of waystones should be fixed.
    Also the loot sucks in the end. I played a lot and i never get rly good gear. But hey, the shops offer me that decent gear rly cheap and now my charackter feels way more better. So i can farm hours of hours to progress or just use the shop... that also should be fixed.
    Its early Access and GGG is a company, which is listening to ther community. So lets wait. But i dont know how they will improve the endgame. I think the whole mapping system is kinda boring.

    I don't understand your point with the class pick rate, are you trying to say they're the two weakest? There's Poisonous Concoction on pathfinder that can get upwards of 1m DPS single target, and blood mage builds are currently one-shotting pinnacle bosses. I will say though endgame is way too punishing, not even because of the single portal or XP penalties, but it feels way too hard to get defenses to prevent those punishing deaths. Resistances are way too scarce/low rolls until you get very late into maps, and HP values are way way too low unless you just put everything into energy shield.

    Armor dr contributes to honour dr. Life and energy shield contribute to total honour. The honour system reflects your defenses stats. So building a tank still applies to your honour.

      its still an incredibly shit system. There is no reason for it to exist. I have over 1500 honour, and got two shot by the two boss fight as the end of Trial of Wisdom. I was perfect the entire time, and then lost over an hour of progress because i got hit TWICE. its a fucking joke.

      The game is fine, it in the alpha said by them 50% is not even out yet. It a free game but you pay to play half the game earlier lol.
      End game is fine can be little frustrating in maps but overall it decent definitely will get better.
      My biggest tip if you do decide to pay for alpha look for actual poe streamers. They will provide so much more information and more ideal how the game works.

When I said "it" I mean the overall structure and setup of endgame, navigating the map, using any waystone for any area you've reached, the towers buffing areas, the atlas passive tree. I think its way better than what we got in D4 and Last Epoch's timeline system.
      It certainly needs the changes you mentioned, but those are just tweaks, they aren't massive problems IMO. Massive problems are what D4s endgame has, it needs an entire redesign and more content. What POE has now, the bones are there. Just needs tweaks.

    Dude I ran maps an got tier 3 rares with worse rolls then regular. Trading is the best an easiest way to get capped an do ok. An that feels bad. I'll have some nice items but almost never get good rng rolls on it. I've gotten two characters to endgame..

    I saw different ways to change what drops look/sound like BUT its an outside download… that’s annoying & dumb. “Loot filter” i guess but it made giant orange red green light streams show on loot and i thought that’s how the game should be or it should be in game option not a program I have to download and 3rd party then open folders to install.
    It’s just not for me I guess, I’ll play backlog and maybe even D4 instead tbh.

    The way this game stands, it only further encourages people to seek meta clapper 1 shot mechanic abusing gameplay to combat how absolute ass the end game is. In which turn GGG procedes to nerf lol

    You know what you summed up my issue with maps... i just hit maps did a few.. the feel i loved of act3 with the vaal is gone... im seeing every enemy thrown in random maps...
    Just boring.. what happened to that well cooked campaign.. all pf a sudden its just poe1 face paced combat again mixed WITH souls difficulty. NOT GOOD.
