  • This week on Chronic Illness Weekly I have a busy week at work preparing for our first ever virtual art exhibition and also doing my princess outfit for a birthday party. We also spent some time finishing sorting Ian's new flat heading to Ikea and building a dressing table. We also found a lost tortoise/terrapin. No wonder I find myself stuck in a flare of pain and trying to work through my Chronic Fatigue.
    Chronic Illness Weekly is, you guessed it, a weekly vlog showing you my life with Chronic Illness. I share my experiences with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome ( EDS ), Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome ( POTS ) and Chronic Migraine. I fight chronic pain and fatigue and many other symptoms on a daily basis but I try not to let it stop me.

    This couldn’t have come at a better time. I’m really struggling with pain and fatigue this week. Today I’m just admitting defeat after pushing myself all week sometimes self care is the way to go! Xxx

      You likely have chronic Lyme disease plus confections, I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia 20 plus yrs ago, and when I was bit by a tick, on 4 different occasions, I realized I 've had Lyme since my very young teen years. My heart issues, my pain and fatigue issues, no stamina all finally made sense. Find a private lab that offers Lyme borrelia elispot tests as most woman stop producing antibodies rendering antibodies tests useless. You can be tested for cd57, cd3 and other natural killer cells that usually indicate a compromised immune system hindering the ability to fight off chronic infections. Look up chronic Lyme disease plus confections by Dr Steven Phillips and Dana Parrish on RUclips also book chronic. God bless hope you find answers

    Hi Jenny, I get the finger burning sensation off and on (I have HEDS, POTS, Pernicious Anemia, and a slew of other things). I do notice it can get worse if I am carrying a lot of heavy things, especially tucked under my arms, as that compresses the nerves that run to your fingertips. It can also flare up when my vitamin levels are low or if my hands are in contact with allergy/toxin triggers. Usually it will resolve on its own and is just an annoyance. The unfortunate thing is that in my experienc ice, heat, or painkillers don't really help. Rest is your best friend in that situation. So sorry you are experiencing this.
    Gentle hugs,
    Sara

    Why do we do this to ourselves- continuously over due ourselves... never had the finger thing... but constantly getting face rashes- think mine are usually gluten related- always seem to miss some glutten in items.. not so much dairy. But I put Benadryl cream on my face- really helps.

    • @ChronicallyJenni
      @ChronicallyJenni  4 года назад

      Glad the benadryl has helped before changing my diet I had lots of facial and chest rashes so definitely think it was allergy related for me too but worth getting in checked if it persists too much x
