Amazing guide! I'm at the moment rank 33 on my server with a 100% winrate (14-0) After watching this guide :) I went with Zero, Nemisis and Meryl, thanks a lot!
I know the game just launched, so is very early, but what i am missing is having some breakdown guides about mechanics and synergies, like we have for Genshin. Ofc, ToF is not that popular and ofc it as been launched only few days ago on global, i hope we'll have more in deph guides. PS: even balanced is not "Player VS Player", but still " Wallet VS Wallet". If you don't have the limited character that's it, is a no win battle. No thanks.
I was about to read a lot of the technical stuff, then just remembered that KQM website does not exist(yet) in ToF universe lol, now I'm just a sitting duck waiting for some meta player explanation on optimal solution on every possible way.... which is probably not gonna happen any time soon.

Actually so far ToF seems to be doable if you’re f2p compared to other mmo games that have pvp. Like dragon raja (not as popular anymore) but it’s heavily p2w for pvp and if you weren’t a giga whale then you were pretty much screwed. So it is quite balanced. Could it change in the future? Possibly, but coming from someone who was an ex whale on an old mmo this is refreshing since I have yet to pull out my wallet.
The “balancing” they do helps a lot. As long as you land a few decent characters you’re good. Limited-banners be damned. 😏

Can you make a guide for obtaining vehicles? It isnt an MMO when there is no GRIND. And 1 part of the vehicles are obtainable by grinding! FEELS GOOD!

How to change relics in PVP? I tried to change my relics and it doesnt work
May I ask, how can you do that? The one with like a big electro ball that slows down enemies. It seems that it can be cast multiple times. I'm not seeing it as an effect of a relic.

I got king Tsubasa and nemesis
But i think Tsubasa dont work well in pvp..

What happens to the relics when you take them into PvP? Do they stay at the same upgrade lvl as in PvE or do they get boosted?

do i need to lvl up the weapons to use in pvp? or its automatically leveled up in pvp just like in bygone phantasm?
Yea but u can only compete if u have Nemesis otherwise it's just a straight up L for u bcz all other chars are useless against her
im commander 4 top 60s i chose meryl for pvp now i need nemesis to reach even highter rank im using crow at the moment still pretty good damage im use to pvp game like in wow so my instincts kick in it fun

nah, venus is super unbalanced, especially because you have limited space so your pretty much infinitely stunned

Try to fight more in the air. Manage your stamina and stay mobile. Fish for openings when you are comfortable or you know their skills are on CD

Yea, thank you for the answer, i don't have Coco though i gotta say, but im always out of stamina and i didn't realise that you get stunned as well If they break the shield. And im probably to much in the air. Do you also have a tip for Zero? He seems very difficult.
Use a jet pack for a relic slot, every time they come in with Meryl hit the jet pack. It’s hard to time but you literally have to be 10x better than a Meryl abuser to beat them
just me experiencing freezing in the game and to fix it I have to tab out of ToF and tab in?
My specs are the same as the recommended and is there a fix?

Anyone know if Coco/Huma/Nemesis would be ok while I make up my mind for my box?
Context: Haven't PvP'd yet. Got crazy lucky with pulls so far and have Nemesis, Coco, Huma, Shiro, King, and my selector box still. Looking like I'm one unit shy of pulling off these teams, just not sure if I should take Samir or Meryle x.x got Nemesis on my 12th pull so I'm definitely saving for Claudia which is making me lean towards Meryle over Samir.
Coco is very useful in PvP because the charged attack can suppress enemies along with the high charge rate, you could combine it with huma's dodge skill and the active skill to repeatedly stunlock an enemy and break down their shield. Plus the ability to freeze an enemy before comboing them is extremely strong. Nemesis is great because there's so much utility from her so combining her range and the cc from huma and Coco, you can be untouchable

I feel so baited for pulling her, she does less DMG than my meryl or king and she heals like 1% every few seconds or so which is nowhere near enough when some bosses take 80% of my HP, when everyone said she is OP I thought she either does good dmg or heals really good but she does none, I expected she heals like bennett for example, for most bosses that amount of healing would be necessery but 1% /2-3 secs is nothing :/ maybe I'm very bad at the game I don't know, but I'm very disappointed in her and sad for getting her

...I am waiting for marc or Frigg/saki fuwa to show up in banners..I was able to defeat 8-9 nemesis users ..it was hard though..still crow helps to catch up with his blink type dash..you can try his assassin playstyle walrus..
i got that team but the poking really hurt and i need to engage first or wait the timer

You forgot about the BEST team comp… Meryl, Nemesis, and crow. The higher rank you get to the more you start seeing this comp. And for good reason, crow does insane amounts of damage and can teleport to the enemy. Meryl does crazy shield damage and nemesis heals AND stalls which prevents the enemy from healing. Can’t trust this guide when you leave this team out AND only have like 30 matches played smh

yes it gets maxed out. Also there are no matices in arena :)
The current meta is basically if you dont want to lose just become immortal. I find it hillarous actually.

i just started pvping and i’m already tired of it, every lobby is the same weapon set, venus, and em dual pistols, its the most nonskill thing i’ve ever seen, they just hide in a little cubby the whole match spamming

No matter what PvP's never gonna be F2P friendly.😔 Bruh I was gng to play PvP but after seeing it was just flooded with Nemesis spammers I just quit. Chars like Samir/King(which I have) are pretty much useless in PvP if u go up against a Nemesis user(99% chance that ur opponent has Nemesis)
@Nina Tote 🇺🇦 Matchmaking is random and plus I don't have Nemesis so, why even call it balanced PvP when it's just Nemesis vs Nemesis. It's just P2W

I combo 1 star Coco with 1 star Crow and Meryl
They all become 6 stars in PvP so take a look at their stars as it may change your playstyle.

That's PVE. Nemesis is mainly used in balanced PVP where you can abuse all her constellations. PVE I would suggest King/Meryl for shield breaks, damage booster like Tsubasa/Shiro, and another DPS. no heals, just learn mechanics and dodge or use food.
Edit: nemesis is a good damage booster if you have Samir or Crow due to the resonance.
@@dsan17 it's soo "good" then that everyone (on my server) only say ahh nemesis is busted instead of saying nemesis is busted IN PVP or for electro chars... sooo misleading...
I don't have samir or crow and got nemesis bc I asked how good she was and everyone said so good...
foods are trash they only heal 30% and below, the good ones are expensive and at level 80 they won't even heal you for 30%
and what about those who can't dodge because they have bad reflexes like me? why can't be healing like in genshin where a character can heal 10% every sec or foods that can be consumed multiple times... my saving grace in genshin was zhongli, why tof can't have a character like him for the "noobs" who can't dodge but want to experience the game? if it would be too OP for pvp fine work only for pve...I loved this game until now, but this healing system is soo shitty and that get good attitude from people (not you just in general), everyone says dodge but what if I can't? then f myself "sucks for you" play something else? :/ :(
EDIT: in genshin I eventually learned how to dodge 70-80% of the time but here it's not good enough also here the dodge window feels much shorter which makes me miss dodge 50% of the time, dodging feels like a gamble for me if it will work or not
@@FlareBlossom She's pretty underwhelming if you only have 1 copy. Her large heals come after you unlock advancement 1 (skill and discharge heals for 135% of attack and instantly 5 stacks of healing chains).

It revolves around the limited banner character, if you don't have it ( and that banner has no ftp options, red nucleus can only be purchased not like the gold and black that you can obtain by playing) you cannot win, end of. Guys...there no such thing of "balanced" free to play friendly PvP. It's never been like that since dawn of online gaming and forever will be, and "ftp" games are a urban legend, get over this. One can access the game for free, progress to a certain extend, but PvP in MMOs is ALWAYS pay to win. To be truly balanced the arena should give to anyone all avalable characters, maxed out with pre built gears. If not...pay up.

You can get red nucleus by spending dark crystals, or you can reroll. I am in the top 10 while I didn't spend anything yet.

I think ill just play a game that has real pvp. Like the strategy is there, but it seems way too cookie cutter. Maybe if they rebalanced heroes for pvp.
