Yep, you gotta do what you gotta do, especially if you want to pay the bills. You could probably modify the MTL by cutting and opening into the back of the mower housing and then weld some extra steal to the top and sides to help it keep the strength where you cut the back away from. How long did this take with the old mower?

Fantastic video. I think the prototype cutter works fantastic to say the very least. Hey I had a thought come to mind while watching the video. So I was thinking about the use of a side mulcher to work in conjunction with the prototype mower. The reason that I was thinking about it was simply because of how the mower cut and pushed all the cuttings to the right side. So having a small mulching attachment to mulch the clippings in one pass. Just wanted to ask you if thats a good question, idea to ask? Anyways thanks for the entertainment. the camera tripod worked good as well.

Davin do you have any plans on ever going back to that 12 acre brush cutting job? I think you titled it the 12 acre nightmare. That was the one with all the massive ruts, and numerous ditches. I kind of miss some of those old brush cutting/mowing jobs. Also you're talking about this Mega-X mower, but I know you had a high flow piston drive MTL XC8T. Whatever happened to that? Last we heard is they were trying to pressure balance it for the ASV.
