What i never understood about this video, is howcome the drums sound so dam punchy and clean. They sound very resonant and tuned, like a synthesized version has been layered with it, but i doubt thats the case. I don't think these drums actually sound like that, i think the mic recording this video was able to record the loud volume of the studio. So actually this would be a good tip thats well known, recording a room and layering it. Anyone know what break library he was using ? Those days you had professionals making high quality libraries
