His style is amazing but it's not exactly that much of a secret... definitely was better with the vocal chops...also IMO most cats are too lazy with choppin perc elements from records and building new and intersting timbres for the rhythm track...jus relying on the drum packs you already like the sound of is too formulaic and limiting...that's why there is so much monotony, cause cats out the same camps all be using the same drum packs with proven and established record pedigree

I always revisit this episode. It’s definitely in my top 3, and probably my personal favorite. I love hearing the progress of the beat. He’s very intentional in his process.
