Here’s what’s covered in this clip:
    • The effects of a ketogenic diet on total and LDL cholesterol, discussing significant increases and their health implications.
    • Analysis of how dietary fats influence lipid production and clearance, shedding light on metabolic responses.
    • Exploration of differing views among lipidologists about the dietary impact on cholesterol levels and patient care.

I’ve been saying these things for so many years. This is exactly like the video. I just posted on my channel however not as much in-depth not as much science behind it but great to see that I’m on the right track with these ideas. Switched over to a vegan diet actually as a result of this channel and since then have seen remarkable health gains.

I don’t argue with anyone who thinks keto or carnivore is good for them and high LDL is never an issue. It’s their bodies and they are free to experiment as they wish. Their high ApoB won’t cause me any heart attack. 😂

Thats not what this is about .This video is asking if Apob is ALWAYS something that increases risk of cvd . Traditionally , Apob has been a marker of increased risk , but with a healthy metabolism on keto diets , it seems that Apob is not increasing risk of cvd . Research is currently underway ,and required , to answer why it is that keto dieters dont seem to have plaque increases normally seen in ppl with ldl amounts above recommended ranges.

Neither of them are saying that high levels of LDL (more specifically high apoB) is harmless in the long term. Having high LDL in the shorter term (even a couple of years) does not have to do so much damage, especially when other risk factors are as good as can be. That is not really outside the realm of the scientific consensus.
But maybe I read your comment wrong. Let me know.

@@ThingsYoudontwanttohearthis thing it is out of realm of scientific consensus because they’re brainwashed by twitter. Guidelines state to not treat with people with otherwise no other risk factors unless LDL > 190. Why? Because NNT if you do will be over 600

I'm not sure what you mean by Keto/Carnivores being "flat-earthers" but I'm assuming you implying we believe the earth isn't actually round, we're like holocaust deniers, anti-vaxers etc. I just wanted to comment that's not true at all. Many of us who have adopted the Keto & Carnivore lifestyle have been REALLY sick with real heavy health issues & have tried the standard of care and only got sicker & even with meds, various types of therapeutic interventions & a whole foods no junk etc aporoach, some things have improved but still not optimally so many of us, out of desperation, have been trying Keto & even Carnivore for quite some time now & we're off ALL medications, our health is superb now that we're older & all our diagnoses have reversed while 1/3 of us have only ONE thing... higher LDL! Which in all honesty is NOT the #1 marker of a damaged or sick body who's going to die of a heart attack. My husband is living proof. Long story there but just saying... we still firmly believe the earth is actually round, we are not holocaust deniers & although I personally, chose NOT to get the shot for Covid (since I was going through breast cancer treatments at the time & was totally afraid of anything inserted into my body plus I had gotten natural immunity after getting Covid) we are not anti vaxers either.

@@dan-qe1tb don't know which study our friend above is referring to, but I recall early (circa 3yrs ago) statistical work of Dave Feldman on NHANES data pool (ie over 100k samples). In that work Feldman found no statistical significance of high LDL affecting all cause mortality....but remember at that time Feldman was like a crazy man shouting into the wind. Not sure of the relevance as NHANES sample probably was 95% (guess) processed food eaters.
